"We stayed in Florence in November 2012, and rented Casseta Bonsi. We arrived by train from Sorrento. We got a cab from the train station, just a short ride to the apartment. The owner was great and showed us around. It was nice to be able to spread out and overall the apartment was quiet, except there were some ladies at an adjacent apartment that were quite loud into the night. But that is not the fault of Casseta Bonsi. There is a sweet little terrace but we spent 95% of our time outside of the apartment we never used it. The shower was a bit tricky, I found myself fiddling with the water temp quite a bit even though we followed the directions of the owner precisely. The owners left us a nice bottle of wine and pastries, as well as flowers in the rooms. Very nice. Dined at a restaurant called Open Bar (right around the corner) and it was delicious. A super short walk to the Ponte Vecchio and over the river to other sights. Would stay in that location again for sure. Italy Perfect was very thorough and helpful with all my questions, I would definitely book with them again."

"On the whole the apartment, surrounding area and in general the experience was a very good one and I would recommend Italy perfect – thanks for all your help."

"This is our second time staying here, and we loved it, can't wait to return. We were greeted warmly, and they helped us with reservations at a winery and dinner, and we're always available to help. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and clean."

"Italy Perfect was so organized and professional. Loved how they did everything and full confidence in the Company. We went to Rome and Venice and had I known about them before I booked the others I would have stayed in all of their managed Apts. The Apt. was beautiful. Spacious and very clean. Nice kitchen and bedrooms, with Wi-fi. The owners were straight across the hall and were there if anything was needed. The locations was very quiet and in a nice neighborhood. A cafe was located right across the street with friendly owners and good food. This Apt is located away from the center of Florence, about 25 minute walk. It was close to the Ponte Vecchio Bridge (10 min walk) and about 10 minutes from the train station by Taxi. Had a wonderful stay and again the overall organization of the Company as well as the owners was great. I would stay with them again no doubt."

"My husband and I spent a week in late October at Bucine Limonaia with our two grown children and their "significant others." We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were attractive, spacious, comfortable, and very clean; it was particularly nice to have a bathroom (with stall shower!)for each couple. The grounds were lovely and meticulously maintained. The staff were uniformly helpful, with particularly excellent restaurant recommendations. Don't miss the Osteria Alle Corte di Bacco in nearby Ambra and La Bottega di Duddova in the tiny hilltop village of Duddova, also close by. Another suggestion from the staff that we are very glad we followed: don't drive into Florence. We had a car and used it to visit the smaller Tuscan towns, but driving/parking in the city isn't worth the trouble. The trains from Bucine are frequent, they get you there in an hour, and the city is very walkable. A caution: if you visit in cool weather, use the heat in the unit sparingly--it is VERY expensive and will eat up your security deposit in no time. Other minor quibbles that would lead me to give the place 4.5 stars rather than 5: we found the dishwasher in the unit temperamental, the wifi in the common area was down for half our stay, and the the unit's living and dining areas could use an additional lamp or two. But these are trivial matters in the overall scheme of things, and I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Bucine Limonaia to anyone looking to spend time in the gorgeous Chianti countryside."

"We spent 4 days in Venice in late October. This apartment is located close to all major sites and made a great home base for our visit. Like others, we enjoyed the terrace and the major gondola activity below! Apartment is well stocked, bathroom & shower great and nice to be able to do some laundry. Only complaint, bed is basically on floor, so for us over 60's folks a little uncomfortable. We would recommend this location to friends for future trips. Pao, hostess, was extremely helpful, especially on our last day when San marco was flooded and our departure plans needed to change,"

"Our hosts were terrific - warm and welcoming - as was our experience booking through Italy Perfect. The apartment was well maintained, spacious, and included essential amenities. Prisco is extremely well located and yet the anomaly of being situated at the junction of three streets creates an astounding noise level. The owners have attempted to address this problem by sound-proofing the bedroom, which is quiet with the door shut, but airless. [Note from ItalyPerfect: there is a combination fan/air conditioner in the bedroom.] If you are counting on using the sleeper sofa in the living room, that guest or guests will need ear-plugs. I would recommend one of the interior units in the same building. The materials provided by Italy Perfect, and their responsiveness and overall efficiency were greatly appreciated. We would definitely use this company again."

"This was our second stay at the beautiful Casetta and hopefully not our last. We truly feel at home there and this is thanks to the thoughtfulness of Maurizio and Gabrielle, our wonderful hosts who think of all the things required to make a traveller's stay comfortable. Our special treats on arrival were very much appreciated. Casetta Bonsi is also one of the cleanest apartments we have ever stayed in. It is handy to have the kitchen with its many untensils to cook in if the occasion arises, and also the washing machine. There are also many restaurants and cafes to choose from within walking distance, but if you do want to cook there is a supermarket just down the hill with a very wide range including much fresh Tuscan produce. There is also a very good gelataria near the supermarket as well. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe and we enjoyed walking to the Bardini & Boboli Gardens, which are just up the hill. There is a little terrace in the Bardini Gardens where you can get a coffee or wine and look out over a terrific view of Florence. We walked everywhere from the Casetta. There is so much to see and do and it is especially rewarding to get out early and investigate the city before it becomes crowded. If you enjoy art, a visit to the Convent of San Marco to see the Fra Angelico paintings was very enjoyable. We got there first thing when it opened and had the place to ourselves for some time. The short bus trip up the hill to Fiesole is also good to do on a clear day. The Santa Croce Basilica is also amazing and the attached leather school interesting to visit. We highly recommend Casetta Bonsi and dream of returning in the future. Thank you also to Italy Perfect for all your valued assistance."

"We arrived in Florence at 12.30pm, resigned to the fact that we would be waiting until 5pm to see Casetta Bonsi, as this is the usual check-in time. Therefore we were over the moon when Maurizio phoned me as the train pulled into the station to say that everything was ready for us. He and his wife Gabrielle were waiting for us, and showed us around the house, explaining things as they went. We loved the extra touches such as the bathroom, kitchen and laundry supplies, and of course the welcome wine and biscuits. Casetta Bonsi is very close to the Ponte Vecchio, grocery store, restaurants and souvenir shops but is very quiet. It is comfortably furnished and has a lovely little balcony perfect to sit and relax. We ate out every night, using the list Maurizio gave us as our guide, and enjoyed each dining experience. We'll be recommending Casetta Bonsi to our friends, and hope to stay here again if we return to Florence."

"We loved being at Casetta Bonsi. The location was perfect for visiting the city, running along the river and enjoying a neighborhood. It was convenient to everything, especially food shops, restaurants and all the major sights. What fun to look across the river at the Ufizzi! Maurizio met us and was gracious and welcoming. We were greeted with full information and instructions on everything in the apartment, which was very comfortable and well equipped. A bottle of wine and a pie were our welcome gift! We especially loved the little balcony, and being able to do laundry was a plus. I would certainly recommend Italy Perfect (and all of the "sister sites") to anyone. The entire booking experience was comprehensive and easy and well organized. Special thanks to Lisa for the great information on making the most of our time in Italy. We are only sorry that you didn't have a Venice apartment available when we were there! Best, Barbara"

We found the Vespucci apartment to be as advertised: neat, clean, conveniently located to the city center, train station, shopping, etc. The local restaurants, shopping, museums, historical sites and central location for visiting other parts of Tuscany made Florence one of our favorite stops. If you're looking for something different to do, try a one day cooking class, it's so much fun. Our host/greeter also helped make our stay truly enjoyable by always being available to answer questions or provide essential information about the local area. We would certainly recommend Italy Perfect and specifically the Vespucci apartment to anyone looking to visit Florence. If you are thinking of renting a car and driving you should reconsider. The ZTLs (limited traffic zones} are virtually impossible to avoid and if you enter one without the proper authorization for your vehicle, you can expect to receive a rather expensive ticket.

"The accomodations exceeded our expectations, centrally located for touring Florence, easy access from the train station, in an upscale shopping area. Apartments was very quiet with use of a washing machine, internet, secure apartment with very spacious and modern bathroom. Sleeper sofa was easy to use and comfortable for 2. No real view but you can't beat the price on this one! We would return and have already recommended to close friends. Micki and Franco were very kind, thorough and helpful. Lots of great little restaurants in the area. Gucci and all of the top-end stores are on the same street, so very nice location. Try out Casalinga (they don't speak much English, but worth it!) across the Arno river in the Oltrano area or Marione - have the steak and potatoes with rosemary, yummy! Recommend the Uffizi, the David at the Accademie, tombs of Galileo and Michaelangelo at Santo Spirito, the Museo at the Duomo and definitely "Florence for Foodies - add on the tour of David" - it was just the best way to learn about the food of Florence - you'll also learn about the very best gelato in the world, right in Florence...I highly recommend Italy Perfect! We also took 2 tours from walkaboutflorence.com into the Tuscan countryside (visited an organic farm) and the Cinque Terre walk, both nice if you are spending 5-6 days in Florence."

"We absolutely loved the Tesoro apartment. It's in a phenomenal location and the pictures don't do it justice. What an amazing property - we would highly recommend it."

"The property was very clean and well maintained and the location was extremely convenient to everything that Florence has to offer. There were very good restaurants less than 5 minutes away and a fully stocked grocery store not much farther than that. The communication from Italy Perfect was very helpful and timely. We would not hestitate to recommend them."

"Our apartment in Florence was in so many ways fantastic.the actual apartment was very spacious with very nice furnishings. The fotos did not do it justice.second the location could not be any better. Right at the foot of the pontevecchio bridge with views indescribable. This would be a great apartment for a family who were taking children to Italy. From Lisa whose company Italy perfect was there when we had a small plumbing issue and provided a book for a resource for Florence to our Italian liaison Francesca who gave us great advise about restaurants to fixing our Internet made us very comfortable living in Firenze which we did the entire month of September. We have travelled extensively but this was our first time renting an apartment but won't be our last Gb"

"this is a terrific place with virtually no caveats--location is right in the middle of the best shopping/accessible to every key church and museum/two blocks away from the Duomo and republic square/within one mile of at least 35 wonderful restaurants and the river Arno as well as the other side--a ten minute walk from the pont vecchio-- the apt is clean and comfy--the washer works without a problem and the deck is easy for clothes drying in the sun/the stove top works fine but is small and real cooking is difficult--better do easy stuff like eggs, toast and coffee- the elevator works as does the AC--there are two good super markets nt far away--they sell oatmeal which was key for me -seems americans can't find this in italy but you can now--at con ads in the cereal section on the lowest shelf-you will have to run the AC if you don't like noise to sleep with-we did and it works-people are not friendly but affable the two owners are gems and are helpful beyond reasonable--enormously nice people i would stay there again i would use Italy Perfect again"

The Vespucci apartment was clean and relatively spacious with a lot of natural light during the day. The Florence weather during our visit was such that we could open the windows and rely on natural ventilation. The apartment is in a very quiet residential area, but located close enough to the center of Florence that we walked to our destinations most days. It’s also only a short block from the River Arno, although there are no river views from the apartment. Our greeter was friendly and accommodating. She provided an excellent set of oral instructions for the apartment on arrival. She also provided extra service by acting as the contact person for one of our party who arrived late because of a cancelled flight. While she didn’t hover, she was available to answer our questions during our stay. The Café al Comunale, right across the street was a great place for a continental breakfast or an early evening drink (closed Sundays). We had an excellent dinner at an Oltrarno restaurant, IO – osteria personale. The chef uses the ingredients of traditional Florence dishes, but combines them in modern, lighter creations. We also liked the look of the restaurant, with its clean modern lines (some would call it stark).

"A wonderful little house steps from the Ponte Vecchio. It had everything one could want for a stay in Florence, including a gift of flowers, wine, fruit and sweets from the owners. Lots of restaurants in the area, as well as a grocery store nearby. We couldn't have asked for anything more!"

"The apartment was lovely. Great location. Staff very helpful. Thanks for helping us with such a great holiday!"

"The accommodations were as represented. The location couldn't have been better for our needs. Our only suggestion is this: if your want to see the country side when traveling by train as we did, don't take the high-speed trains. They get you there quickly but everything is a virtual blur. We would recommend Italy Perfect and, in fact, we have. Thanks for a great experience."
