"Casa San Vito was beautiful, nestled in very scenic surroundings. Only 5 minutes from the highway, we were able to travel to all the nearby areas (after we figured out the road signs). The webpage doesn't do it justice; the villa was much nicer in person. The rooms were large and clean, the villa was nicely decorated with antique furniture, and the host was very friendly and helpful. The view was outstanding!!"

"Vespucci Apartment was terrific. The apartment was very clean. It had everything you needed for short or long stays. Cindy, the host, was super nice and helpful. The location was great if you don't mind walking to major attractions. Less noise and traffic than in the center of Florence. Food, produce, wine and cafe within walking distance. Would highly recommend and would stay there again."

"The Tesoro apartment in Florence was more than we imagined. We fell in love with it within the first day. It was beautifully appointed, very clean, organized, and well maintained. The location was wonderful. Close enough to heavy tourist areas but tucked away so that we had a private oasis. Also, our hostess, Elizabetta, was extremely kind and thoughtful, leaving us coffee, wine, snacks and other goodies in the kitchen. We rented from three different companies on our three-city tour, and in hindsight I wish we'd rented them all from Italy Perfect. The level of service was excellent overall."

"We had an extended visit to Florence in 2009 and stayed at apartment Mimi. It is perfect for two people. A very comfortable home away from home with a charming ambiance and lots of character. The north facing terrace is a luxury in Florence and made all the difference to our stay. We regularly ate breakfast or dinner on the terrace which looks out to Fiesole and is dominated by the striking facade of Santa Croce. Mimi is well located and within walking distance to Florence's many treasures. The small functional kitchen was well used. Shopping at the local supermarkets, butcher in Via dei neri and nearby fresh food markets made the stay even more special. If we didn't feel like eating in there were a number of excellent restaurants and wine bars nearby. The locals we met in the restaurants and local shops were very friendly. The staff at Palazzo Santa Croce were very helpful and also very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will return.” We look forward to your return trip in 2011! IP"

"This apartment was in an excellent location in Florence. We were extremely grateful to Miki and Franco who helped us out immeasurably with our lost luggage - which required waiting for delivery over three different days and too many phone calls. They were very very sweet, warm, comforting and had a great sense of humour - even when helping us struggle with a phone card problem. They seem to love what they do, and we were lucky to have their help. Miki and Franco also smoothed our stay with respect to tips re travel- bus to Siena, train to Lucca - and offered lots of helpful information about restaurants. The trattoria we frequented the most was the the Antique Carrosseria which had great pizza for the kids and overall delicious meals. On the other side of the river - a great family friendly pizzeria was Dante's and the best gelato we had in Florence - on the corner , at the river, contemporary design, but can't remember the name. Also have to mention the best meal we had - truly superb - also a short walk from the apartment at Gustovino. The apartment was certainly big enough for a family of four, the air conditioning not nearly as expensive as we thought and the building, of course, very quiet. The cafe at the ground level two doors down was excellent for your morning macchiato. We did shop for a few things nearby - but favoured a likely all to expensive fruit martket in between the two big piazzas. All in all a great 7 days, and without Miki and Franco we would have not been able to enjoy most of it, nor see nearly as much art! Thanks again."

"Apartment was very spacious. Endearing decor of antiques. Beautiful view of the Santa Croce church. We were apparently there during a Florence holiday so the square was obscured by an arena and stands that were set up for the performance. It would have been nice to know that in advance as we had planned a country trip that day and had to miss the performance and festivities. Master shower head needs to be changed and then the shower would be great. All and all a nice apartment."

"The Strozzi apartment was a great place to stay in Florence. Conveniently located near the train and bus stations, we found it to be a good location from which to make our daily excursions. The accommodations were comfortable and met our needs for a place to collapse after a day of touring Florence. Our hosts were quite accommodating and even arranged for our cab on the day of our departure."

"My husband & I recently enjoyed a 6 night stay at the Bellina Apartment which has a very convenient & central location. We found it spacious for 2 people & thoughtfully set up. The internet access & use of a local mobile phone were very useful. 2 minor drawbacks were the very firm mattress & the lack of a full size ironing board when like us you are travelling for 3 weeks. Our favourite local resaurant was Palathium(from our Italy Perfect reccomendations)& we went there twice. The Italy Perfect service was very good & our greeter very helpful & pleasant."

"Our stay at Vespucci was wonderful. The owners were wonderful and the location of the apartment is perfect - quiet however close to the central area. The owners supplied our every need.The only slight negative is we could hear the family, including children, in the upstairs apartment. This did not impact our vacation in any way, but important to mention.Regards,Barbara Ross-Denroche [There can be some noise from upstairs when the 4yr old twin boys return from school. They go to bed very early, so it doesn't interfere with our guests' sleep.]"

"We found the accommodatons very nice and comfortable. The only drawback was the ice maker did not make ice very well and we Americans like our ice and it could not be purchased anywhere. [The freezer has an ice cube tray, no ice maker. - Lisa] We thought the lighting in the living room could have been better as we did a lot of reading for places to visit, etc. The bathroom was very up-to-speed. The location could not have been any better - it was close to absolutely everything and all within walking distance. The stops and restaurants were great and right at hand. Everyone was very friendly and greeter could not have been more helpful and gracious. It is hard to say what we enjoyed the most as there were so many things to enjoy, but we would have to say just the safety and location of the apartment made our trip absolutely wonderful. Thank you. We look forward to working with you again."

"We enjoyed our entire time in Italy, but we'd have to say that the time we spent at Casa San Vita in Tuscany was our favorite! The Casa is perfectly located for day trips to the amazing hill towns in the region. We loved our morning coffee on the patio with those beautiful views and eating dinner in the warm, cozy kitchen. It was a joy to come home in the evening, open the shutters and let in the views and the fresh air! Francesco and Franca were wonderful - we enjoyed our tour of the Cantina and their gifts of wine and olive oil. The little grocery store in Romita was great - they have all of the basics and were very friendly and helpful. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed Casa San Vito and we hope to return for a longer visit!"

"We really enjoyed our one week stay at the Vespucci Apartment. It was very comfortable and clean. The owner and her husband were extremely accommodating for late check in and very helpful with any questions we had. We chose the location to be by my daughter who was living around the corner so it was very convenient. It's not in the center of town so you have to walk, which we didn't mind, and we took a cab late at night when we were tired. It's just a short walk along the river to the Ponte Vecchio and a 15 minute walk to the center of town. It's a quiet location too for sleeping with your windows open at night. The neighborhood seemed extremely safe, the embassies are right up the street so the police are always around there. There's a coffee shop right across the street too."

"We absolutely LOVED our stay. The accommodations were amazing and beautiful. I would always suggest going to the large cities first because after you visit the smaller towns you don’t want to go back to the large cities! I can’t add to any of the restaurants, [the list of recommendations] was amazing. The location was fabulous and could not have asked for a better location. It was absolutely breathtaking. I would suggest letting people know that they can buy more wine and olive oil from Francesco and his family. We were too late the day we left and I would have loved to have bought more olive oil. It was the best I have ever had. I would suggest they keep some on hand at the house to sell. That is my only suggestion though. Everything was lovely and he and his mother were so kind and thoughtful. They were amazing with my children and very friendly. Thank you for an amazing experience! The restaurant suggestions by Italy Perfect were very helpful, I would recommend you try any of those on the list. We were never disappointed. The service at the Strozzi was excellent, very professional and very helpful. What a fantastic stay in Florence!"

"The Vespucci, without a doubt, was as close to perfect as any vacation home I've rented in North America or Europe in the past 20 years.First, the location.The apartment is in a block from the Arno River, situated between the American Embassy a few blocks away on one side and a large park area a few blocks the other way. As a result of the limited street access to the area, it is virtually traffic free.I don't think I ever had to dodge a Vespa like one does elsewhere in Firenze!It was very quiet, day and night, so was easy for the light sleepers in the family to have a good rest.The apartment is on the 4th floor, so you are above the neighboring buildings with lots of air and light. One side fronts the street, the other an inner court yard.Screens on the windows let in fresh air on our warm days without any bugs joining us.The apartment itself is a delight. Two bedrooms, two baths, fully equipped kitchen, inviting living room.The beds are very comfortable (too hard or too squishy beds being one of my pet peeves in vacation rentals) with good bedding and several pillow options. Bedside lighting was perfect for reading at night. The bathrooms were modern and spotless. Hot water on demand so no wimpy morning showers.Towels were large and soft, with two per person. The living room/dining room area had good lighting, nice furniture. The TV had Italian channels; who needs to hear the bad news on the English CNN while you are on vacation!The DVD player worked with our daughter's North American dvds from home. The kitchen was fully, and I do mean fully, equipped for a family.Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, utensils.The fridge and freezer is huge by European standards, and there's even a dishwasher.The washing machine worked fine, as did hanging the wet laundry to dry in the little 'bonus' room at the end of the hallway.Also used this area for storing our luggage and all the goodies we bought while in Italy.The owners are absolutely delightful. Taking us in with virtually no advance notice because of a problem with a different property, they really saved our three weeks vacation in Firenze. They were very helpful, answering any and all questions. When we had an internet connectivity issue on our first day, they immediately remedied the problem.The apartment came well stocked with maps, information and travel books provided by the owner.We had great fun, our last evening, having snacks and wine with them discussing our time in Italy and their hopes to get to Alaska for a visit. Wonderful people with a wonderful property."

"Italy Perfect made planning our trip to Italy much easier! I always got prompt answers to questions, the info sent to us was very helpful and both accommodations worked out great for us! We also stayed in a pensione, a 5 star hotel and a 2 star hotel in various Italian cities. By far our favorite places to stay were the two apts. we rented ; the Strozzi in Florence and the Via Veneto in Rome.Having quiet, peaceful, but pretty, places to stay where we could spread out and relax after long days of walking, eating and sightseeing was great. Having windows you could open at night was wonderful for me. The washer in both places cut down on clothes we needed to bring (leaving much more room in our suitcases for gifts we brought back).I read the other reviews and went to several places they recommended. Our recommendations in Florence include: For dinner: Trattoria Sostanza, Via del Porcellana 25/r, 39-055-212-691. Reservations needed- order the chicken, beef and artichoke omelet. Also Trattoria 4 Leoni, Via del Vellutini 1/r, Piazza della Passera, 39-055-218-562, reservations recommended. Order the gnocchi. Find Grom for gelato and anywhere in Florence for the best cappuccino in the world!"
