"The Serenata apartment was perfect! The apartment was lovely and the best part was the roof terrace. We ate breakfast each morning on the terrace overlooking the beautiful canals of Venice. The location of the apartment was ideal. We were close to all the major sites. In fact, we could walk to almost everything! I highly recommend this apartment! It was a great stay and we hope to return one day!"

"The apartment was excellent. The location was perfect with quick access to taxis, shops historical areas, an excellent grocery shop and excellent restaurants. The owner was a gracious hostess and in her absence was always accessible via cell phone. Nellie, the very capable housekeeper, was reliable and freindly.Yes, I would recmmend this apartment."

"We stayed for 12 nights at the Borgo near the town of Bucine and it was heavenly. The location is beautiful and perfect for those who really want to be out in the countryside, but close enough to the autoestradas to move around easily. The accomodations were very comfortable, clean and the grounds were beautifully kept. The evening meal is well worth taking advantage of as the food is homey italian and excellent! Staff was very nice and helpful all the time, we felt right at home. The only drawback that I found at Lupinari is the lack of laundry facilities, I beleive the administration should come up with a solution to this. All my best to the team at Borgo Bucine!!"

"We spent a week at Paolina as a family of four with two boys (ages 10 and 12). Overall, we had a lovely stay. The apartment was centrally located. We walked about 5-7 miles each day around the city. If we were tired, we took the metro back to the apartment which stopped a few steps from the apartment. The apartment is not meant for four people (it is tiny/cozy), but it was a good value and fit our budget. We just slept there. We did not use the kitchen. The sheets were clean and of good quality. We recommend the restaurant next door for a glass of wine while sitting outdoors in the early evening. Great place to read a book or people watch. The pizza or pasta with vodka sauce was good. The prices were typically half of other places in the city and the waitress was lovely (not pushy like many of the waiters we encountered at other places). Pat and the rest of the staff were first rate."

"The location was perfect! Central to everything. Great, hip coffe/bar just steps away. The apartment was spacious with air conditioning in every room (a must when it's 95 degrees). Fully serviceable kitchen which we actually used a couple of nights (food stores just a few blocks away). The property manager was very professional, reminding us that utilities were extra (20 euros a day). I wish she had told us that we had to provide our own toilet paper, however! We ate at a couple of restaurants they suggested --one awesome, one terrible. Parking was super easy. The Piazza Santa Croce was having an event durfing our stay so I don't know the normal level of noise. It is a gathering place. Overall, very happy and we would stay there again. The sofa bed was comfortable. The master bedroom was a great size. The other two bedrooms had no exterior windows (the one window opened onto a pipe) but the kids didn't mind. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of space for 6 people."

"Casetta Bonsi and the owner's provide a perfect stay in Florence. The apartment is in a fabulous location and packed with helpful information. It is truly just like being at home. Maurizio is so helpful and available for your every need. Italy Perfect is absolutely the best online site for accommodations and have all the information you need to travel to Italy. We will use them again when traveling abroad. One thing I would do differently is to make sure I had a very good walking map and stop at the official Tourist office to obtain a bus schedule and information on the bus line."

"Serenata in Venice was great, clean, the greeter was waiting for me when we got there and explained everything. In short, it was perfect."

"Casetta Bonsi was exactly as advertised. Small, comfortable, clean, excellent location with an owner who goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and point out the best local restaurants and food markets. We spent 4 nights here with our two teenage daughters, in late June during a period of very hot weather. While the house is small for a party of 4, perfect for a couple, it was nevertheless quite comfortable and surprisingly cool despite the heat. The downstairs living room has a couch that converts to a bed as well as a trundle bed, both quite comfortable. The downstairs kitchen, quite well equipped, has the added advantage of a door allowing for quiet access if the guests in the living room are still sleeping. The upstairs master bedroom is spacious and has both a comfortable large bed and air conditioning. The bathroom is upstairs as well, large enough with a good power shower. The balcony just off the master bedroom is a lovely and tranquil addition, though no view. The location, just a five minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio, is exceptional. We were a short walk to all the major sights across the Arno, but far enough away from the throngs of tourists to enjoy peace and quiet during our evenings at the house. We did quite a bit of food and beverage shopping at the outstanding Sapori e Dintorni market just steps from the house. The owner's recommended restaurants, all within 10 minutes walk from the house, were quite good with several offering menus in English. The owner, Mariano, was extremely professional, very helpful and fluent in English. We highly recommend Casetta Bonsi and will most certainly stay there again during a future visit."

"The pictures don't do justice to this amazing apartment. The frescoes on the walls reminded us that we were in the heart of Florence. The location was relatively quiet and the patio on the courtyard provided for a glimpse into the lives of ordinary Florencians. The rooms were large and cozy. We cooked most of our meals here. The kitchen was well appointed with both cooking utensils and ordinary spices. The bed in the master bedroom was larger than most Italian doubles. We loved the location as it was on a quiet street that was literally only a block away from the heart of old FLorence. It was a five minute walk to local grocers and a ten minute walk to several of the most amazing Piazza's in Florence. Our host was a talented artist herself and was very attentive to our needs."

"The Bucine area was perfect! The location was centrally located to visit many cities. The accomodations and staff were 5 star. The setting for the castle and villas were from a dream. The pool was so peaceful and refreshing. We visited Florence, Sienna, Montepulciano, Pienza and the secret gem called Arezzo during out stay. Pat and Lisa of Italy Perfect were great in helping us throughtout the process in selecting this place."

"We had wonderful time in Venice. My dream came true. The apartment was very nice. It was a pleasure to have a breakfast on the terrace. Paola is wonderful person and showed us everything we need. Even better, she took us to the groceries store. Venice was exactly what I expected and more. I will keep marvelous souvenirs."

"Being used to hotels in the States like the Ritz, Four Seasons, and other boutique hotels, it took some adjustments to settle into a historic building and a dated apartment. Then I realize it is simply the European way....much more "conservative" in their energy usage, and everything is simply on a smaller scale. It took a while to get used to sleeping in small twin size beds and a bit sagging mattress. After several days, we realized that Strozzi was the "perfect" apartment. It was centrally located, and equal distance to the historic places, the river and the train station. It was QUIET!! After all day walking amongst crowds and traffic, it was a relief to hear NO traffic noise or people noise. Having the unit AC in June/July was KEY! 2 minutes to my morning expresso and afternoon gelato was great. Our hosts were delightful and very accessible by email or phone. Our favorite was the huge front entrance door!! A definite recommendation for Italy Perfect! Thank you for your nice comments and recogniition of the fact that staying in a modest apartment such a Strozzi, while not like a boutique luxury hotel, is very enjoyable and a more authentic (and definitely much more economical) experience. Regards, Lisa at Italy Perfect"

"This little house is a hidden gem on what is perhaps the tiniest piazza in Italy. A beautifully maintained residence with a lovely living/dining room, excellent kitchen well-outfitted, and a little laundry room. Upstairs is the lovely private terrace, the comfortable and pretty bedroom and first rate bath. My host Maurizio is charming and gracious and helpful. There was wine, a little tray if delicious cookies and even a fancy chocolate by the bedside with a welcome note from Maurizio and his wife. There is a very short walk up a slightly steep street that was no issue. Everything is super, super convenient yet I felt totally removed from the crowds. Good supermarket very close, lots to see and many good restaurants. It is a perfect home in Florence!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment. Everything was as it should be. We were greeted on time and warmly. The apartment was incredibly well located, nice and clean. The AC and internet worked perfectly and the windows shut out any street noise. The pictures do not adequately reflect the apartment. it is nicer and sunnier then depicted. I can't recommend it any higher."

"We loved our apartment location in the heart of Florence. So close to everything. The apartment was very clean and our hosts wonderful. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"Our apartment was an excellent place for us to stay during our visit to Florence. The location was perfect for access to the historic center of town as well as modern shopping opportunities. The building was exactly the vintage place we expected. The rooms were made up exactly as we had requested. Our greeters, also the apartment owners, welcomed us warmly and cordially; they took great effort to acquaint us with our surroundings from show us how to operate the appliances in the apartment to telling us about neighborhood including nearby restaurants. This was our first time renting an apartment instead of hotel room, and we were a bit apprehensive about how it would all work out. But after the warm greeting we had from our hosts, the anxieties melted away. We really couldn't have asked for better. The owners also had a computer system that could be shared among the guests. This was a benefit for where-to-go research plus check-in for return flights. There is a bakery almost next door to the apartment building, and when they bake overnight the wonderful odors drift up and into the apartment. This encourages you to get up early and go first thing to get some delicious pastries! Also conveniently located is a good gelateria just a few steps past the bakery. There are a couple of good restaurants we found within easy walking distance: Tratoria dei 13 Gobbi, Via del Porcellana 9/r, and La Bussola Ristorante e Pizzaria, Via Porta Rossa, 58/r. We ate the best meals of the trip at these two restaurants. We would definitely recommend this to others and hope to return ourselves some day."

"This is a charming one-bedroom apartment behind the St. Mark's Basilica. You really can't have a better location in Venice. The apartment has a spacious living room with chairs and a very comfortable sleeper couch. There is a dining table and seating for 2 in the kitchen. The kitchen also has a dishwasher which is great. There is a washing machine on the first floor for the unit. The highlight of the apartment is the terrace. Up a few steps from the living room is a charming terrace with seating for 4 overlooking the rooftops and the church and belltower. Just below the terrace gondolas go by. Absolutely charming. The greeter was great and recommended her local water taxi (Maximo) who we used and received a discount. I highly recommend this apartment."

"We had a wonderful time in Rome. The Paolina is small, but very cute. It has everything we needed for our little family. The location is so near the metro that it is easy to get to the center of this great city. We loved the regional market just down the street that provided us with wonderful fresh fruit. We also enjoyed the pizza from the pizzeria a few doors down the street. It has been a very hot week, but the Paolina apartment has been a wonderful cool retreat from the heat. We came from an Italy Perfect apartment in Florence, and they had a little book for comments, so you could read recommendations from previous guests. They also had a cold bottle of water in the fridge. These were nice little touches that you might think about including for the Paolina. Thank you for providing such a wonderful little apartment for our visit to Rome. We hope to return soon."

"We stayed in the Memoria the last week of May and loved it. It is even more beautiful than the pictures show. The kitchen is nice and much bigger than most Italian kitchens. The balcony and view of the Arno is unbelievable. The only suggestion I have is adding a screen door to the balcony because the mosquitos were out. Overall it is a wonderful apartment that I hope we can return to again."

"We were very comfortable in this apartment for our four nights in Florence. We were greeted by our very friendly hosts who took time to explain the apartment and surrounding area to us. The apartment was very well equipped and the location was excellent! There was excellent shopping nearby and many restaurants steps away. The Arno River and all the major sites were within easy walking distance! We felt the apartment was very good value for the price. Italy Perfect was very good to book with ... very complete instructiions and information was provided before we left home ... our experience with Italy Perfect was very positive!"

"
We would recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone going to Florence! The host and hostess that showed us around were available almost anytime and were a wealth of knowledge. The lady is from the US and it was nice to be able to speak English. Her husband was a wonderful gentleman and very helpful as well. They greeted us with a bowl of fruit and took a great deal of time explaining everything and helping us to be sure we had reservations where we wanted to go and made an excellent suggestion where to eat. We never needed a cab, we were able to walk everywhere. Even walking back to the apartment late at night we felt very safe since it is in a very safe neighborhood. Having a washer was wonderful, and there was even laundry soap for us to use.We had stayed in a tiny hotel room in Pisa the week before, so when we walked into the Vespucci apartment we could not believe how HUGE it was. So bright, airy, clean, spacious, beautiful and right off the Arno River close to everything. Everything was actually much more than we had hoped for. We LOVED the apartment as well as the host couple.
