"I've been meaning to write to you since my arrival in Florence to let you know how wonderful the Michaela apartment is. Miki, Franco and Marco have all been great---even when I locked myself out. I called Miki from a pay phone and explained in my combat Italian what I had done. Twenty minutes later Marco was there to rescue me! Miki has been kind enough to show me the other 2 apartments [Prisco & Strozzi] and I am 97% sure that I will be wanting to reserve the big Prisco apartment for April 2009. Thanks for all of your service and attention to detail."
"The apartment was perfect and looked exactly like the pictures. It was located near the Piazzo di Popolo, and a short walk from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Foutain making touring really easy. The Flaminio train station (subway) is two short blocks away so we were able to take the train to go to the Vatican and many other sites. Our greeter, Gian Luca, was very knowledgeable and helpful both about the neighborhood and sites to see. While we did not cook, the kitchen was fully stocked with anything one would need to cook and there our greet had stocked the refrigerator with yogurts and waters which was a very nice surprise. The apartment had a washing machine and dryer which was a huge bonus for a large family. We used the washing machine but not the dryer (used the drying rack instead). My only recommendation would be to have a printer or access to a printer nearby. We had forgotten to print out and bring our colisseum tickets with us and had a difficult time finding a printer.I would totally recommend Italy perfect and the Flaminio apartment. [Thank you so much. We are delighted the location worked well for you and the apartment was fine. Printers are tricky because you have to install drivers. The best thing to do is to stop by an internet point and have them print for you. Or, if you had thought of it in advance, asked your greeter or the doorman to help. The Italy Perfect Team]"
"What a great vacation and what a great apartment. Thank you so much for guiding us toward the Pasquino apartment. It was exactly, exactly right for us. And I have already passed the information along to a friend. I hope to be back in touch in the future to arrange another visit to Italy!"
"My friend and I stayed here for a week and loved the spaciousness and Old World charm. We walked everywhere, as the location was perfect. We often bought fruit and cheeses, or prosciutto and melon, at the big market near the Duomo and had leisurely breakfasts in our rooms. We especially enjoyed being able to open all the windows to enjoy the sounds of the city, and then to close them and turn on the very quiet and efficient AC when we wanted to sleep."
"Casetta Bonsi was truly a "hidden gem" of a house in the middle of a tiny cobblestone street among Florence Apartments. The house was 5 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio, Ufizzi, and easy access to Florence's main tourist attractions. Actually we walked almost everywhere, even to Santa Maria Novella church near the train station. The owner, Maurizio was a sweet man. He helped us with our taxi arrangements, recommended restaurants and went out of his way to find some information for us. Casetta Bonsi was roomy and comfortable and felt like home, a nice place to come home to every night. We loved Florence, the end to a perfect 3 week vacation in Italy. Recommended restaurants in the area: Casalinga, and the ones on the sheet Maurizio gives you. If you plan to visit at least 8 or so museums and churches, buy the Firenze pass, (at Door #2 of the Uffizi). You will skip the lines and it is well worth it!! Lisa at Italy Perfect was excellent, booking was easy and she provided a lot of valuable information for the Florence area. We would highly recommend Casetta Bonsi and we hope to return soon!!!"

"The Serenata apartment was perfect! The apartment was lovely and the best part was the roof terrace. We ate breakfast each morning on the terrace overlooking the beautiful canals of Venice. The location of the apartment was ideal. We were close to all the major sites. In fact, we could walk to almost everything! I highly recommend this apartment! It was a great stay and we hope to return one day!"
"This property sports a clean modern look, very much a study in black and white. The polished white stone floor and the white painted walls set off the modern and comfortable furniture. Everything seems fairly new. The corridor kitchen is all bright metal and new appliances. You will probably find yourself sliding back and forth as the fridge is at one end, and the sink at the other. Everything works well. Unusual to have a dryer in Rome. Remember to empty the tank! (Previous users had not.) Also unusual to have a wireless printer.
Via Capo Le Case is fairly noisy, but you do not hear anything in the bedrooms. The courtyard windows help with air circulation. The court is small, but very nice to have.
This apartment is well-situated, there are many restaurants in the immediate area, you are only a 5 minute walk to Piazza de Spagna or Piazza Barberini.
Italy Perfect has always been a dependable choice for Rome and elsewhere in Italy-- this was my fifth stay with them."
"This was our second stay at Solare. The apartment is in a super location for discovering Florence (i.e. market, duomo, etc.) and to branch out into Italy further (train station nearby). We spent 9 nights at the apartment with our two children - which worked great - buying fresh ingredients at the market and preparing dinner as a family was super. There are also multiple, small, non touristic restaurants nearby situated around the market (read the reviews in the apartment for ideas).
The apartment itself is very well equipped and immaculate, the stairway is not as daunting as it might seem.
We would absolutely recommend Solare and Italy Perfect. Our second stay was intentional as the first stay was so memorable."

"Miki and Franco met us at the apartment right on time and showed us through the checklist i.e. how the washing machine works. They are a delightful couple and even provided us with a bottle of and a Florence map! The apartment was fantastic with a large bedroom and very comfortable bed; large well equipped bathroom with a great walk in shower; very comfy living area with American coffee maker and coffee and a very serviceable kitchette; and even a safe. The building and apartments area is fantastic! Like a fortress just half a block from the Strozzi Palace and the shopping district right around the corner. The pastry shop 2 doors was fabulous and was Cafe Megara right next door. Just a delightful few minutes walk (location, location, location) to anywhere in Florence including the Mercato Centrale and the Ponte Vecchio. The neighborhood is great and very local (we never felt like strangers) even though it's just a few steps from major tourist sites. We loved them both - Florence and Strozzi! Because we had an early flight out Miki and Franco checked us out the evening before and even arraigned for a taxi (which was right on time) to pick us up for the airport. Oh, and seek out Ristorante Caruso on via della Moro for a fabulous meal and enertaining evening!"
"What a wonderful trip we had & Casa San Vito was a highlight. It so far exceeded our expectations and was clearly the best value of our trip. The villa was beautiful, charming, comfortable & spotless. The setting was right of "Under the Tuscan Sun"."

"I had the best time in Italy and I am looking forward to going back in the fall possibly. I loved the Michaela apartment."
"We stayed as a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 children aged 6, 7 &14 in Jan 2015. The apartment was very spacious - especially for Europe - and very comfortable. The master bedroom and bathroom was separated from the rest of the apartment by a small walk through wardrobe, essentially making this a parents retreat. The beds are firm, but this seems to be normal for Europe. The 2 bathrooms are always a bonus and the washer / dryer instructions easy to read and use. The kitchen is full size and well equipt with a separate dining area within, as well as another dining table in the large lounge area. One of the lounges converted to a bed, but we chose to use the 3 single beds in the second bedroom so I'm not sure how comfortable this would be to sleep on. We found all the main sights were in walking distance (with a 6 year old) and there are so many restaurants right outside the door we were not able to try them all! There is a grocery store a short walk away too. We also used Italy Perfects recommendations for a driver to pick us up and also for a tour guide. I would highly recommend them both - Rocco for the transfers and Cristina as a tour guide. She got us into places you wouldn't be able to go if you just went by yourself, and she also gave the 2 smaller children work books to help keep them engaged. Giuseppe speaks excellent English and was very helpful - giving us a thorough run down of how everything works. there is also a good information pack in the apartment along with maps and guide books. The heaters worked very well and we would definitely stay here again. The only negative was there seems to be a hospital nearby and we could hear sirens quite regularly, but in saying that you could hear them all day in the centre of Rome no matter where you were. We have used Paris Perfect a number of times before and they have not disappointed here with their Rome accommodation. 9/10!"
"Nicely appointment apartment in an ideal part of town. Great location, next to all of the attractions, train station, and importantly for us, local fare, a salumeria, fornaio and produce and fruit purveyor. Bedroom has a soundproof door which is need given the central location. Miki and Franco are wonderful, treating us like long time friends. Would definitely recommend."

"We are now back from our trip to Italy and wanted to thank you for making our stay so memorable! We had a fantastic time in Florence. We will definitely recommend ItalyPerfect to all of our friends and hope to return to take advantage of your great hospitality in the future! Please convey our sincere thanks to Maurizio. He made us feel so welcome and his recommendations for restaurants and other activities were superb. It was delightful to meet him. He is a true asset to your firm. Again many thanks for making our Florentine experience great."
"Serenata in Venice was great, clean, the greeter was waiting for me when we got there and explained everything. In short, it was perfect."
"The accommodation was modern and very clean. Ensuite bathroom to the main bedroom a little small but overall it was a comfortable apartment. Location was central and easy walking distance to the Spanish Steps and the train.
Our greeter Rosie was friendly and willing to meet us earlier than we had previously arranged giving us tips on nearby supermarkets and other amenities."
"My wife and I stayed at the Solare apartment for 19 days in October 2011. Overall, we could not have been more pleased. The apartment was meticulously maintained and the owner was a cordial, delightful and accomodating host. She thought of everything including maps, a looseleaf binder explaining the operation of each applicance (first rate stove, washer, dishwasher), restaurant tips, and hours of area attractions. Although we did not need to call her, we felt that if it were necessary, Chiara would have been on site within minutes.
For us, the location was ideal. We intended to do quite a bit of cooking while in Florence and the proximity of the wondereful central market (5 minute walk) was a big plus. We also chose Solare because of its location near (but not too near) to the S.M.N. (main) train station and the inter-city bus depot (about 10-15 minute walk). We used Solare and Florence as a "home base" from which to take 2-day trips to other Tuscan and Umbrian cities (like Assisi and Siena) as well as day trips to places like Lucca and San Gimignano. It was no problem to pull a small overnighter from apartment to station.
All of the sites and neighborhoods of Florence were within 20 minutes or less walk from Solare. Be sure to visit DaVino, the "vino sfuso" shop around the corner on the way to the market. Bring (or buy there) an empty liter bottle and they will fill it with your choice of 7-8 delicious Chianti regional wines for 3-4 euros per liter. The wine is delivered in bulk direct from the vineyards. And the owner is absolutely charming!
That said, a few words of caution. If you have any heart, breathing, or physical health problems, the 4th floor location (without elevator) WILL be a problem for you, and a major one depending on how severe your condition. The steps were steep and hauling our large suitcases up at the beginning of our stay was a physical challenge. The street on which Solare is located is well trafficked and in the late evenings, especially towards the weekends, the students (the university is nearby) can be noisy and somewhat rowdy (nothing serious, but a light sleeper beware). It did not bother us but it might bother some. The building corridors are dimly lit and somewhat dingy (although the aprtment is bright, cheerful, and totally charming) so just be prepared to ignore this (Chiara provides a flashlight on the keychain because it is next to impossible to get up the steps before the timer shuts off the hall lights; this is a building issue and not the fault of Chiara).
In short, there are more luxurious apartments (and more expensive!) and neighborhoods that might for some be a bit more attractive (we liked the feel of the Oltrano side of the Arno and San Niccolo neighborhood) but the combination of the nearby market and station as well as the overall central location made this a perfect choice for us and for someone who plans to use Florence as a hub for daytrip or overnight exploring of Tuscany."
"I just wanted to follow up and tell you what an amazing visit we had in Florence and how much we enjoyed staying in the Strozzi apartment. Miki and Franco were wonderful and helpful hosts. What a beautiful apartment and what an amazing location! It couldn't have been better. It was also a very nice convenience to have the washing machine. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were probably the best away from home I have ever slept on. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that we loved it and were not ready to leave! When we return to Florence, we will be in touch! Thanks so much. "We had a great time in Italy. We loved Tuscany. Casa San Vito was wonderful. The various family members there were friendly and helpful. It couldn't have been better -- well, maybe, if it hadn't rained so much. But that didn't slow us down. Our bottom line is that Claire and I would love to go back for another stay at San Vito. We cooked at home most nights and enjoyed living like the Italian families in the area. Thanks for setting this up for us. If you want to use us as a referral for someone to talk with about the Casa, we'd be glad to do that."
"I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed my stay. The Michaela is perfect for a single person, and Miki and Franco were delightful hosts. I loved the city and wish I could have stayed longer, and when I'm fortunate enough to return, I definitely will reserve the Michaela again. Thank you again for everything. If you need a reference for the apartment, please feel to use me. I loved it!"
