"Our stay at the Strozzi was just great. Our hosts met us at the apartment just as arranged and helped us with directions and everything we asked of them. The Strozzi is so beautifully located. We had favourite restaurants, cafes and trattorias within a couple of minutes walk! The apartment is huge. We couldn't believe our luck after small places we had stayed at elsewhere in Europe. We would highly recoomend the apartment and would not hesitate to use Italy Perfect again. Professionlaism is everything when booking a holiday"

"Strozzi was the perfect place to stay; it is located near to major sites and could not be more convenient to restaurants, pastry shops and gelato! We did not have a car and it was totally unnecessary. Strozzi was well equipped but we did not cook much since we ate our large meal at lunch while we were out and had mostly items from the delis and markets at night with wine of course. The building is lovely and Mikki and Franco were most gracious. I would stay there again and have recommended it to a friend already."

"Casetta Bonsi exceeded our expectations. The Casetta is in a perfect location where you can easily walk to restaurants, museums, and shops on both sides of the river. When we arrived one of the owners met us, gave us a tour, and a list of outstanding restaurants in the area. A welcome basket along with a bottle of wine was there to greet us. He was very gracious and available should we need anything. The Casetta was immaculate, very spacious, and homey. We cooked several meals and found the kitchen well supplied with all conveniences. Morning coffee was spent on the terrace which provides you with a glimpse of Florence. We highly recommend Italy Perfect for their excellent choice of accommodations and for their superb service."

"This is the second year we spent two weeks in Santa Croce, and this is the apartment we will return to in the future. The neighborhood is perfect, very close to all the tourist sites in Florence, but on the edge of them. Convenient five or ten minute walk to the San Ambrosio Market, Teatro del Sale, Cafe Cibreo, ZEB, and many other excellent restaurants in Santa Croce and Oltrarno. Five or ten minutes to the Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, etc. And of course the Santa Croce church is right around the corner. Florence is a walking city, but there are also three bus stops within two minutes of the apartment, and it's very easy to find your way on the buses with Google Maps on your phone. This is not a bland rental apartment, it feels like someone's home, and is very comfortable, attractively and thoughtfully furnished and decorated. The living room is a delightful place to sit and read, relax and dine. The full kitchen had everything we needed to cook the lovely things we bought at the market. The terrace overlooks a delightful well planted shared inner courtyard with roses, hydrangea, and so on. The bedroom was suitably dark (with the curtains drawn), quiet and comfortable. It's an apartment we'd be happy to live in. This was our first time using Italy Perfect and it was smooth and efficient, we will use them again for this apartment and in other cities as well."

"Our trip to Italy was the fulfilment of a dream. We were celebrating two retirements after more than 80 combined years of working, and also our fortieth wedding anniversary. We'd been to Venice several times over the years and always said, "Wouldn't it be nice to just stay a bit longer..."We found Serenata online, and booked it for over three weeks. What can I say? The place is wonderful. A moment's walk from San Marco. From the secure entrance, up the miniscule elevator...to our lovely apartment. Spotless, spacious and comfortable. Lots of windows with shutters. Everything has been thought of. We made every dinner and every breakfast, and most lunches in the thoughtfully-designed kitchen. We had everything we needed, and the kitchen is easy to keep clean. The bathroom is large and bright with room to store toiletries, two sinks, an excellent shower and a window with translucent glass. The bedroom is small, the bed comfortable, and there is closet space. There's a washer downstairs in a locked area. There is a comfortable living room with flat screen tv , also a dining area for all meals. There's also a storage area off the bedroom and it's spotless too: no bugs, no ants, no creatures other than the two of us, (other than those tiny, wicked Venetian mosquitoes) . I have left the altana to the end of my review. This terrace was wonderful. We sat here and watched the tourists and the gondolas, we rested and read, we sipped wine... The altana is well-built, covered for a bit of sun protection, and has lovely flowers and a lemon tree. There's a sturdy table and four chairs, and a view of the dome. And the bells.......ahhhhhhhhh. Paola was awesome. She was willing to leave us alone but at the same time she was willing to assist with anything we needed. She checked in frequently. When 'high tide' happened, and other tourists were stuck with ruined shoes and drenched socks, there we were in our gumboots provided for just such an occasion. (Other tourists expressed their envy). There's a beautiful big umbrella too. I refused to leave it in the umbrella receptacle in one museum one rainy day because I was afraid it would be stolen. No one argued. There's a decent grocery store a couple of minutes away, and a better store on the Strada Nuova, between Rialto and the train station. There's an ATM half a block from the apartment. Thanks, italyperfectThanks, Paola. Thanks, Venice. We can hardly wait to return."

"
What a gem of an apartment! We are two couples who stayed in Vespucci for four weeks in April/ May. Vespucci is exactly as described on the website, in a very pleasant and quiet area a good 20 minute walk along the Arno to the Ponte Vecchio. We enjoyed the location : as many guests have pointed out, the walk home after a busy tourist day can be a welcome interlude. In fact, to stay in Vespucci is to live in a comfortable family home. The apartment is very spacious, light and airy, with two large bedrooms and two well fitted modern bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of quality towels. (Perhaps our only suggestion here would be the provision of an extra set of bedlinen for guests staying more than a few days.) The kitchen is excellent with a good sized refrigerator, and up to date dishwasher and washing machine. There is a comprehensive selection of cooking equipment, including an excellent range of pots and pans and (hooray!) quality knives. In fact, the kitchen was so user friendly that on most evenings, we chose to cook at home and eat in our very comfortable living /dining room. We did however discover some good local restaurants, including Giovanni's, Cambi and Baldini. The Cafe al Communale opposite the apartment was very friendly and great for a lunch or an evening drink. There is a good range of shops in close by: a small supermarket, very good butcher, deli, tabacchi and post office among others. We did however often choose to walk home via Borgo Ognissanti and buy food and wine from the smaller family run shops and bakeries. (supermarket bread is not recommended!) The owners of the apartment live across the hallway and while not intrusive are available for help and advice. Our greeter was very welcoming and gave us a thorough introduction to the apartment. We really appreciated her attention to detail: maps, guide books, cards for local restaurants and even a bowl of chocolates on our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Vespucci. Booking through Italy Perfect has also been nothing but a positive experience - helpful, efficient and responsive to every request. Thank you! Nola, Ross, Greg, Michelle Victoria Australia

"The home owners met us at the door and were very charming and gracious as they showed us through the property. They offered advice about sights to see, markets, restaurants, etc. On the way out they left a plate of cookies, a basket of fruit and a bottle of wine. The house was perfect - immaculately clean and modern, located a few blocks from the Ponte Vecchio and the Arno River, and near the city center. It was only about a 5 minute walk to the Uffizi Museum and was close to a market, restaurants, and most conveniences that a traveler might need. Our stay was wonderful. The owners generous with their time as they helped with restaurant and taxi reservations. It was all that we could hope for. The folks at Italy Perfect were very professional and returned calls and emails very promptly. I recommend them enthusiastically."

"We spent 1 month in the Prisco apartment, and found it to be an excellent location, easy to walk to all the sites and shopping, and a few minutes' walk from the train station. On the street are several wonderful shops for groceries and prepared food, with a morning (coffee) bar a few doors away. Restaurants are just a few minutes' walk down the street. The apartment has all that one needs for a vacation stay, with a neat kitchen (including dishwasher!), very large bedroom and sitting room and a smart bathroom with a good shower, so important while traveling. A washer is available for use also. Can't think of any negatives about this apartment. It was perfect for us with its large rooms and wonderful location! The owners are friendly and very helpful if you need them."

"We stayed in the Ginerva apartment, it was perfect in every way. Stylish and spacious. The location was great for seeing all the major sights within walking distance. There were four of us and we catered some meals and found that it was like a home from home. High quality bed linen also appreciated!"

"We had a great trip in Rome. My husband and I stayed in the Paolina apartment for 5 nights and we found it to be a very convenient location, just a few steps from the metro. The kitchen is great for a quick breakfast, but not suited to doing more than heating food. Much better to get your espresso at the cafe on the corner! The apartment was clean and aside from typical city noises, it was quiet. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"My wife and I were in Florence for 1 week. With only one week, you need to see as many things in as short a time as possible, so a central location is imperative! Well, the Strozzi apt was perfect for location. Also, the bed was great, the apt. comfortable and the owners very nice. Couldn't have been improved upon."

"My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by this property. It was even nicer than it appeared in the photos. Everything went off without a hitch. The greeter, Paola, was waiting for us, explained everything well and gave us a nice tour of the neighborhood. The location was great. We ate dinner on the terrace every night after the first. Everything was wonderful. The owners were very attentive and helpful. We couldn't ask for more. It was Italy perfect!"

"We were in Florence to be married, so needless to say, we wanted the perfect place to call home for a week. Casseta Bonsi was all we had hoped it would be and more. The location could not have been better. We walked Florence easily from our neighborhood. The surrounding cafe's, restaurants, florist, grocery, and deli's were all fantastic. The house itself is so charming and well equipped. We both hated to leave and in fact, felt we could easily live there.....forever! Maurizio was attentive, available, and very helpful. He and his wife were sincere in there wishes for our happiness. We miss the church bells. I would wholeheartedly recommend Casseta Bonsi to anyone planning a stay in Florence."

"Allen and I enjoyed our five week stay in the Prisco Apt. in Florence Italy. ( This was our second extended stay in that apartment. ) All remained the same as when we said good bye a year ago - except, and this was very important to us, for a much improved internet connection. Absolutely enjoyed revisiting old favorites ( Ristorante Pensavo Peggio on Via Del Moro, Dei Frescobaldi on Via die Magazzini, ,Perche No? on Via de Tavolini , etc. ) and discovering new ones including Farmaceutica of Santa Maria Novella on Via della Scala, Antico Sertificio Fiorentino (silk factory) on Via Bartolini, Casa Rodolfo Silviero (small museum) on Lungarno Serristori, etc. Love Florence, love the Prisco and hope to return again soon ."

"My husband and I have stayed at Casetta Bonsi three times. The location is perfect. Casetta Bonsi is immaculate, convenient, lovely and just a wonderful place to stay. From Florence, we are able to take trains and buses to various locations in Italy. The host is extremely helpful and cooperative. The terrace is a real plus. Our favorite restaurants in the Oltrano section are Bordino's, La Mangiatoia (very local), I-Tarocchi. We also like Il Caminetto which is near the Duomo. For great ceramics and friendly service, I recommend A. Carnesecchi, Marino Mazierli located at Via Guicciardini, 4R in Florence. For gelato, Cantina Del Gelato at Via De Bardi, 31 is outstanding."

"The apartment at Santa Croce surpassed our expectations---The square provided a wonderful setting to enjoy the beauty and energy of Florence--the staff in the building provided superior service---The apartment was very comfortable but the elevator was quite small---Having windows above the square provided an outstanding way to see and hear all activity---Having windows look out on the square is a "must.""

"Wonderful visit to Florence in April, made all the more enjoyable by the owners who were extremely helpful and kind. The location was perfect; within walking distance to all the museums and art galleries, shopping and restaurants, with a bakery next door and a deli just down the street. Highly recommended."

"As two sisters who travel everywhere we felt Casetta Bonsi was perfect for us. The location was in the best area being only five minutes to Ponte Vecchio and only half and hour to saunter to the train station. Maurizio and Gabriella were wonderful hosts who welcomed us with a package of fresh fruit, wine, pastry and fresh flowers. Maurizio gave us information about the local area and suggested the nearby travel agent instead of queueing at the station to book our train tickets for our onward journey. This was so easy to do for only a 2 euro fee. We bought our groceries and some ready to eat meals at the S&D supermarket at the bottom of our street. The restaurant Alfredo over the Arno had a wonderful view of Ponte Vecchio and we only had to walk up the hill to our home afterwards. We would certainly recommend Italy Perfect to anyone thinking of visiting Florence and would love to stay in Casetta Bonsi again."
