"We travel with our children frequently and enjoyed Paris Perfect so much that we instantly sought to use Italy Perfect for our recent trip to Rome. In our first encounter, they made it clear that they were not the same company as Paris Perfect (and it showed). After taking our full payment, they alerted us that the apartment we chose was, in fact, not available even though it showed as available. Apparently, it was easier to take our money than it was to do their diligence on the availability of the property. Nevertheless, we found a suitable alternative (or so we thought). Upon arrival, the greeter was not available so she sent her handyman (who although jovial spoke little to no english). The apartment was dubbed as "modern" but we found that the bathrooms were not as modern as they were made to be. Regardless, we enjoyed our time in the apartment. What we did not enjoy was the time leading up to getting to Rome - Italy Perfect nickels and dimes you and sends sarcastic emails about how everything they have offered is spelled out in their documentation. Rather than work with their customers, I found the attitude to be dismissive and somewhat sarcastic. We love Paris Perfect and will use them again. We will not use Italy Perfect again. [We sincerely regret Our guest was dissatisfied. The Zegno apartment and the other two in the same building, Renata and Valentina, are of excellent quality and offer good service, too, as evidenced by the many positive guest comments. We’re pleased our guest and her family enjoyed their time in the apartment . Unfortunately, there were several factors that resulted in her dissatisfaction. We were unable to offer a returning Paris guest discount as the guest requested because Paris Perfect & Italy Perfect are different companies with a different group of owners. In spite of this, we were pleased to negotiate a discount on her behalf. There was a calendar mix-up by the apartment owner that was discovered within 24 hours of reservation. We and the owner apologized sincerely for the error and since the reservation had just been confirmed one day prior, we offered a comparable apartment in the exact same building, or a full and immediate refund. The bathrooms are exactly as pictured on the website, but we sent her an additional 5 photos of the bathrooms so she could evaluate fully before making her decision. We inform all guests that we cannot guarantee an early check in unless they reserve the previous night. The guest chose the regular check in, and became upset two weeks before her arrival when we could not guarantee an exception until she arrived, explaining that although her chances were good for an early check in, it was not guaranteed since it depends on cleaner’s schedule on arrival day. We are extremely pleased that our greeter, who is a kind and competent house manager, not a handyman, was able to accommodate her early arrival. We are sorry his English was unsatisfactory but again pleased he welcomed the guests warmly and politely. Our Reservation Contract has no hidden fees. We are sorry that the reservation mix up got things off on the wrong foot, and despite our sincere apologies, offering a comparable apartment or a full refund, obtaining a discount for her and an early check-in, we were not able to satisfy this customer. "Huge and airy. Clean and comfortable. Fine art pieces. Close to everything. We were able to walk everywhere, and could stop by the apartment if we just wanted a mid-day break. We had every convenience we needed, lots of room to spread out, and the largest bedroom ever! The lovely hosts were very helpful and congenial, and even left coffee, tea and wine for us. The washing machine was a big plus too. I would definitely recommend this apartment (as well as Italy Perfect) to a friend. We would love to go back and stay here again."

"We have stayed in apartments in Rome before as we prefer the space and convenience of a kitchen. This apartment was located just steps from Piazza Navonna and other sites. Nice grocery right down the street and restaurants etc all nearby. The apartment was spacious and the kitchen was the best we have ever had in a European apartment. Definately would recommend to anyone looking for 2 bedroom apt. in Rome. The check in was easy and quick and there was a book with lots of info on the dining room table. The only downside was there was quite a bit of noise outside at night (until 2 -3 am one night) from the restaurants downstairs. Of course we had the windows open since it was perfect weather for that so it could have been a bit quieter with them closed. The street right outside the door needs to be repaired as there are large holes making it difficult to get inside the door. The elevator worked great (small of course) and it was nice we were the only apt on that floor. Worked great for my MIL who is mobiity challenged and cant walk far or long and cant do stairs well. I would stay here again on future stays. And Pat was awesome to book and work with answering all my questions quickly and efficiently. Thank you for a great stay - C Henry [Thanks so much, Cheryl. "The location of this property could hardly be better. Literally a two-minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. Lovely accommodation, very roomy and comfortable. Impeccably maintained. Extremely helpful and kind hosts. We would recommend this property very highly to anyone and would definitely stay there again, should we ever be fortunate enough to return to Florence."

"My husband and I greatly enjoyed the Prisco apartment--it was large, comfortable, filled with light, and well located for walking to sights and restaurants. Our hosts were welcoming, kind, and informative (recommended great restaurants). If we should be fortunate enough to return to Florence, we would stay in the Prisco apartment again, and based on this experience, I would suggest Italy Perfect to anyone traveling to Italy."

"Our stay at the Ginevra apartment was so nice and we were so lucky to have such mild November weather. The greeter was kind and helpful, the booking process with Italy Perfect went smoothly. Really enjoyed our stay. Be sure to have a coffee at Cafe Greco which is a short walk, really a special atmosphere! The driver you recommeded was good too. Thank you for a wonderful experience. "

"The house in Florence was an ideal first stop location in Italy. I suffer greatly from jet lag and the ability to get up and go downstairs in the middle of the night in a comfortable home setting is ideal. The house is comfortable, near all sites and spacious for Italy. Its only 3 blocks from the ponte vecchio so not as noisy as central Florence but buses and garbage trucks do start early in all cities. The coffee bar recommended by the owner was really good for both breakfast and apperitivo. Its a close walk over to the Pitti Palace and Bobili Gardens. Fall is colder than I would have expected (I'm from the desert) so an extra couple of blankets would have been ideal for me since there is no heat available until Nov 1st [per Italian law - IP]. Owner met us and showed us all around & how things worked. The small wall safe was really a nice extra. We would definitely stay here again."

"Casetta Bonsi was truly a "hidden gem" of a house in the middle of a tiny cobblestone street among Florence Apartments. The house was 5 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio, Ufizzi, and easy access to Florence's main tourist attractions. Actually we walked almost everywhere, even to Santa Maria Novella church near the train station. The owner, Maurizio was a sweet man. He helped us with our taxi arrangements, recommended restaurants and went out of his way to find some information for us. Casetta Bonsi was roomy and comfortable and felt like home, a nice place to come home to every night. We loved Florence, the end to a perfect 3 week vacation in Italy. Recommended restaurants in the area: Casalinga, and the ones on the sheet Maurizio gives you. If you plan to visit at least 8 or so museums and churches, buy the Firenze pass, (at Door #2 of the Uffizi). You will skip the lines and it is well worth it!! Lisa at Italy Perfect was excellent, booking was easy and she provided a lot of valuable information for the Florence area. We would highly recommend Casetta Bonsi and we hope to return soon!!!"

"Our apartment at Santa Croce Tosca was excellent--clean, comfortable, everything as promised. The greeter , Francesca, was very helpful and we enjoyed the party hosted by her mother the Contessa. Our utility costs were quite a bit less than advertised and the WiFi worked well. As you probably know there is considerable noise rising from piazza Santa Croce on Friday and Saturday evenings as it is a gathering spot; but we ran a sound machine (white noise worked best) and really had no problems sleeping on those evenings. It is definitely a good place to stay in Florence and close to everything. Restaurant tip: Francesco Vini , really good in a town full of good places to eat and very close. Yes, I would recommend Italy Perfect to anyone."

We were delighted with the Vespucci apartment, which provided a beautiful and relaxed retreat from the streets of Florence. The apartment is light, comfortable and very well set up, with lots of thoughtful touches to ensure guests have everything they might want. We loved the rooftop views and the excellent location (just on the edge of the historic quarter - so easy walking distance to key sites, but in a quiet residential area). Walking along the Arno in the evening was a particular pleasure (keep an eye out for otters!). We also really enjoyed meeting Claudia who was very accommodating around arrival and departure times, and gave us an expert run-down on the local area and where to find what we wanted. The local shop (5 minutes' walk) is really well stocked with fresh fruit and vegetables (along with other supplies), and there's a delicatessen/butcher's shop even closer that sells meat and poultry as well as milk and eggs. Cooking meals was great fun with excellent local ingredients and the apartment's well set-up kitchen (better stocked than mine at home!) Overall, this was a brilliant holiday stay and we would thoroughly recommend the Vespucci apartment to other travellers.

" First, let me say that my wife Susan and I thoroughly loved our stay in Venice, and that our apartment contributed very much to the enjoyment. The apartment was wonderful. The somewhat eclectic furnishing style struck, for us, the perfect balance of modern with traditional Venetian richness, all enhanced by a bohemian undercurrent. This combination set a perfect mood for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils and cookware to prepare just about any likely meal or snack. The size, location and layout of the apartment provided the perfect “base camp” for exploration, and then for respite and recovery after the day’s adventures. We will be very pleased to recommend La Serenata to our friends. "

First, unfortunately the elevator went out the day before we arrived. The host was extremely apologetic and profusely voiced her dismay. The positive, it helped work off the pasta, wine and desserts. We cannot compliment the host or Lisa at Italy Perfect adequately. They were professional, promptly responded to emails and questions, the best "Introduction Package" I have encountered in our global travels, were proactive in providing information needed prior to travel, etc. The accommodations were clean, attractive and comfortable. A great value for the money. The location was even better than anticipated. Trains and buses were one block away, and best of all the last stop on the bus route. No matter where we got on we just went to the last stop and got off. Recommend you book a cooking class, a highlight of our three week trip. Hit all the "tourist sites" especially Galileo's museum, and go to Michelangelo's plaza that overlooks the city. Again, this apartment was a true value, the host delightful and the location perfect. Book early or you will lose the opportunity!!!! [We are pleased you enjoyed your stay, sorry that the elevator was briefly out but was promptly fixed.]

"Our family traveled to Italy this past August and stayed in the Pasquino apartment. With two teenage daughters, the apartment worked beautifully as it gave us more room than we would otherwise have in two hotel rooms. The apartment was ideally located in the historic center of Rome, and we were able to walk to most major attractions of the city. The apartment was clean and well furnished. While we did not cook in the apartment it appeared to be set up just fine. There were just too many good restaurants nearby. It was nice to have a large refrigerator for the essentials and milk for breakfast, though. Pat gave us great guidance on the apartment and the overall service was terrific. We have already recommended Italyperfect to some friends. -Scott H."

"This was our first trip to Italy and this apartment in Florence couldn't have been more perfect. The location is wonderful! The apartment beautiful, sunny and large. Miki and Franco couldn't have been nicer! The location of this apartment is very centrally located, and we walked everywhere we wanted to go. Anything you want to see or buy is right there. We would love to return to this apartment. Our experience with Italy Perfect was outstanding! The service and information Pat and Lisa provide made our trip much easier - thank you so much!!"

"Hi……re the rental of Vespucci apartment……….we thought the apartment was a bit far from the sites downtown but after a while we did get the tickets for the little city bus for a ride back to the apt after a busy day of sightseeing..; the surrounding area was lovely and felt very safe……….both my husband and I think Italy Perfect s a first class business…..the information packet given to renters is invaluable and we especially liked the fact that there were lists of neighborhood restaurants and shops …all of which we found to be described accurately….the apartment itself was perfect…..i think the little balcony might be a bit misrepresented as it is just used to hang laundry …..the elevator was out of service for the last week of our stay so that was inconvenient when we were departing with all of our luggage…..and yes we would and have recommended Italy Perfect to our friends….thank you. Thank you. We are so pleased you enjoyed your month-long stay, the lovely area and the apartment. Sorry to hear the elevator was out of service when you departed. "We never got over how wonderful the apartment was--its size, its comfort and its marvelous kitchen. There were no differences in the way it had been pictured and described. The palatial feel of the entryway was a wonderful surprise. The location is absolutely perfect. The Ponte Vecchio is an easy ten minutes away, Santa Maria Novella is 3 minutes in the opposite direction, the Piazza della Repubblica is very close. The position of the apartment with its generous windows looks down upon crossroads that are lively but not intrusive. You get a real feel for the neighborhood. Our hosts had many excellent recommendations for local restaurants and shops. We highly recommend skipping some of the pricey gourmet shops on the Tornabuoni and going to Pegna, a gourmet and everyday grocery store on via dello Studio, 8. We recommend the cashmere shop G. B. Frugone on Via delle Belle Donne, 35, just a few steps from the apartment. We would absolutely recommend this apartment and our gracious hosts. They are wonderful and warm people."
