Luna

Luna

"I rented Luna for a week to explore the area, with my son who was on fall break from his study abroad program in Florence. It was a perfect little oasis of peace for some restful days, and a well-located base for exploring the area. We were glad we had a car, because although we tried the buses, we ended up walking a lot because we couldn't always figure out the system. And trains that service the area were not running on "our" schedule. The location of Luna is great for running into Naples, Herculaneum, Pompei, and Mt Vesuvius. In the other direction, Sorrento is close (and walkable), and the ferry to Capri is lots of fun (we did a day trip and thoroughly enjoyed it). Luna is a small house on the grounds of an elegant villa. It is cool, quiet, and comfortable. The two bedrooms are spacious and for the two of us, the living/dining area was quite adequate. We appreciated the washing machine and prepared several meals in the cute kitchen. There is a lovely pool in the back, surrounded by tall trees and although we didn't swim in November, it is peaceful and beautiful to relax in the back. There are nice restaurants in the area (one across the street has excellent pizza; and the smoothie shop next door is perfect for tea and croissants). And there are grocery stores within a 10-minute walk for replenishing supplies. We found the hosts to be warm and inviting, and they addressed a problem with the wireless internet immediately. We found this Italy Perfect property to be similar in (high) quality to other Italy Perfect, London Perfect, and Paris Perfect properties in the same price range. We love renting through this agency--they usually get it right. We look forward to returning to Luna![Thank you so much Diane, we look forward to welcoming you back! The Italy Perfect Team] "

"We (parents and 3 kids, 7-11 years old) had a fantastic trip to Tuscany in July 2016.Borgo was a perfect base for exploring the region, and just as wonderful for relaxing in between adventures. The pool is nicer than the photos suggest, and is set in between a playground area for kids and a panoramic Tuscan countryside vista. Highly recommended for families. Make sure to sign up for the gelato-making class when you arrive.[Thank you Mark, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay! The Italy Perfect Team]"

"Our stay was excellent, enjoyed gorgeous weather, food, wine and sites! The house worked beautifully for the 6 of us. Took excursions almost every day and a couple of invigorating hikes too. Thanks for all the good advice and assistance. "

Villa Poggio

Villa Poggio

"The great location and beautiful setting was just what we were looking for. Thanks Lisa at Italy Perfect for guiding us to this villa. Our entire family had a super time. Lots to see and do in the area and Florence is an easy drive, but some of favorite memories is sitting out in the evening with a glass of wine just talking into the night while the teens splashed in the pool."

"The accommodations were very comfortable in every way. We appreciated the additional roll-away bed. All 6 of us were very comfortable with the sleeping arrangements. The kitchen was very well-stocked. We appreciated the American coffee maker very much! The location was terrific - close to everything. An easy walk to the main sites, Arno River, etc.We found it impossible to get a taxi in Florence (!!)We found the Hop On, Hop Off bus useful because it stopped nearby. It would be nice to include a map of the bus routes in the apartment since it seems that a lot of them go close to the apartment. No real restaurant recommendations. There was a nice list in the apartment and all of our meals were wonderful. We appreciate all the help and support given to us by Italy Perfect! [Thank you Catherine! Please come again. Bucine Poggio

"We had the MOST wonderful week in Tuscany thanks in large part to the beautiful accommodations at Bucine - Il Poggio. The owners welcomed us and Antoinella and Angela made us feel right at home. We were originally going to stay in the "Limonaia" but the owners recommended that for our group, we might be more comfortable in Il Poggio. Both would have been fine! The place is beautiful. We had delicious breakfasts every day prepared by Angela and an entertaining cooking class given by Antoinella. Great location to get a real feel for Tuscany, the vineyards, olive oil and medieval villages. Definitely need a car! Highly recommended, would love to go back soon! Thank you so much! Grazie! "

"This is a fabulous place to stay in Florence!! I want to go back already! Excellent views of the Duomo and city. Location is within walking distance to everything. Staying on the "Rodeo Drive" of Florence was comfortable and glamorous and active enough so that you feel part of the city without too much disturbance. Easy grocery not too far walking....everything easy. The apartment itself was well appointed, comfortable and roomy. Loved the large windows and light. Only down side was the outside spotlight like fixture that was right outside of the windows and not quite eliminated by the curtains at night. I had a great stay.....everyone affiliated with this apartment was polite, helpful, timely and I definitely would recommend this accommodation and Italy Perfect. [Thank you so much! Sorry to hear about the spotlight, wish you had mentioned to the manager to have it immediately fixed. The Italy Perfect Team]"

S Croce Donatello

"My head was spinning with so many options for our "once in a lifetime" overseas stay. We selected Italy Perfect because they have stayed in each location and I could call Pat and get my questions answered without a language barrier. They gave me more security about the transaction and the reliability of accommodations. S Croce Donatello was the perfect location, clean, spacious, and such a wonderful way to stay in beautiful Florence. We truly can not say enough about it. EVERYTHING was in walking distance and within a few days we knew the city. Santa Croce is a beautiful church and we literally opened our front door to it each day. We learned where the markets were and prepared several meals at home. The kitchen had the basics and the dining room easily can accommodate 8 people. However, local restaurants are available too -- the best of both worlds. We stayed with our two adult children (ages 18 and 21). However, the apartment would be perfect for 3 couples or a family of 6 or so. Plenty of space for everyone. Quiet at night and very, very clean! [Oh, super, Nic, we are so glad this worked so nicely for you. The Italy Perfect Team]"

Borgo Tiglio

Borgo Tiglio

"We recently stayed at Borgo. Our family of 4 was in Beco and my mother stayed in Tiglio. Borgo is an extraordinary destination, and the apartments there are beautiful. They are located in a historic farmhouse on the estate, and are a lovely combination of old Tuscan feel and modern comforts. Our apartment was very comfortable, with a great kitchen and living areas. We were there in June and even though the weather had been very hot in Rome and Venice, it was so pleasant in the hills at Borgo, and we were amazed to be able to sleep with windows open at night. The estate has stunning views with olive orchards, woods and gardens. When combined with the views of the surrounding landscape – cypress trees, ancient hilltop towns and Monte Amiata in the distance – you feel as if you are in a movie. The staff at Borgo is gracious and welcoming, the food is wonderful, and the garden tour should not be missed. Finally, its location is perfect for day trips to any number of beautiful towns. We highly recommend Borgo for an unforgettable trip."

Niccolo Ginestre

Niccolo Ginestre

"The Niccolo Ginestre and the Castle property of which it is a part are much more beautiful then I could have imagined. The setting is spectacular. There are wonderful vistas from every vantage point. Everything was as advertised and much more. The staff was very helpful and kind. The neighboring town of Montefiridolfi, in addition to having the very fine A Casa Mia restaurant, has a showroom for Neri Firenze where you can see and purchase gorgeous leather and cashmere items. The nearby town of Colle di Val d'Elsa is well worth the trip (take the elevator to the upper town). Monteriggioni is also close by and charming. You are nicely situated for many nice day trips, but can easily venture farther and use the Castle as your home base. The walk to the Etruscan tomb, close to the Castle, is pretty and worthwhile. Italy Perfect is also as advertised (I first read of Italy perfect in a recommendation by Conde Nast). Their service was honest, accurate, and efficient. Everything was as represented and the advance information provided by Italy Perfect was, well, perfect. Thank you for helping me enjoy the trip of a lifetime. I should add that I stayed at Niccolo Ginestre for a month. The interior space is almost as enjoyable as the outdoors. Thank you. Robin [Thank you so much, Robin. It is a pleasure to enjoy the property and your exploration of Tuscany through your eyes. Please come again! The Italy Perfect Team]"

Bucine Loggetta

Bucine Loggetta

"We stayed at Bucine Loggetta for a week in late Sept.-early October, when the weather was fabulous - sunny and in the 70s almost every day - grapes were being harvested and wine was being made. What a once in-a-lifetime experience! It is a beautiful, off-the-beaten path accommodation, and a good place from which to explore Tuscany with a car. It's a bit tricky to find the first time - you drive a mile or so off the main road through Bucine, then turn into this dirt and gravel road that winds past Cypress Trees, vineyards, and olive groves until you see the castle on the horizon - stunning. Our one bedroom villa was very nice, with a kitchen, living room, patio and adequate bathroom with a small shower. Olive groves and gorgeous pots of flowers were right outside our entrance. My only suggestion is that they update the guide to restaurants, etc. in the living room - it was a few years old. The staff was also welcoming and friendly - Marianna, whose family owns and runs the estate, Oana, who worked in the afternoons, and Angela the chef. I highly recommend taking a cooking class with Angela. While Oana translated, we made homemade tagliatelle, a ragout or meat sauce, meatballs, sauteed eggplant, roasted and grilled peppers, and tiramisu. Delicious! The location is somewhat remote so you need a car, but it's a quiet and relaxing place where you can enjoy the region while still having a restful vacation. We drove everywhere in Tuscany except Florence - my advice is to take the train from Montevarchi, about 20 minutes away (although leave more time - it's a bit tricky to find and parking is tough). Trains run more often from here than Bucine. We also recommend the coop market in Montevarchi. While there is one closer in Bucine, it's small. The one in Montevarchi is huge with rows and rows of produce, fresh cheeses, all kinds of groceries and other items - almost like a Whole Foods with merchandise. An area restaurant we highly recommend: Bottega di Duddova, a tiny, five-table restaurant in an equally tiny hilltop village, where you feel like you are in someone's Tuscan kitchen. Run by Leonardo and his family, the food is simple and local but fabulous, and one of the desserts is called Momma's cake. Also worth a visit is a shop in nearby Ambra, on the main road across from the shoe outlet, that sells only local olive oil, wine and honey. Italy Perfect was very a great way to reserve our villa, accommodating and responsive to our inquiries. I would highly recommend them and our particular accommodation, Bucine Logetta. [Thank you so much for your delicious review and the opportunity to enjoy your vacation vicariously! The Italy Perfect Team]"

Niccolo Torretta

Niccolo Torretta

"Spectacular location, Castello Di Bibbione provides modern accommodations in a historical setting. Toretta has probably the best view of the valley and is one of the buildings on the property. Quality bathroom, comfortable beds, cozy kitchen, private terrace. Excellent if you prefer privacy some may find it a bit secluded. We loved it. Make sure you try the wine and the oil made on the property and go on a walk at sunset towards la Loggia Delle Arte."

La Camerata Fiorentina

La Camerata Fiorentina

"Italy Perfect is truly perfect and this apartment exceeded our wildest expectations. Every time I opened the front door and stepped into the entry hall I had a "Pinch me, I am really living here for 1 week!" feeling. It is an absolutely perfect apartment for 3 couples as it offers plenty of space and plenty of privacy. It is beautifully furnished and has practically everything one could possibly need; we could not have been more comfortable. The location is also perfect - one block from the river and within walking distance of all the important museums and churches but a bit away from most of the tourist crowds. Around the corner were wonderful small shops for stocking up on bread, fruit, cheese, sausage and wine. If you have a chance to rent La Camerata Fiorentina jump at it. It will make definitely enhance your stay in Florence.
Dear Carol, we were delighted to read your review and are so happy you had such a lovely stay. Thank you very, very much! Italy Perfect"

Niccolo Giotto

"I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the Castello Niccolo - what a beautiful property.  The Giotto was good (a bit big for us, especially since our cooking needs were minimal).  But I am not complaining about the lovely view. (Was like being in fairyland; on top of the world). The pool was a god send since the heat was so high- we either stayed by the pool or drove around the countryside in air conditioned car - got lost a few times, but it was fun to go the back roads. I felt at ease, knowing that what you had selected for us would work; that you had done your research, and that we would be pleased.  And we were.  An apartment in Florence would not have worked for us, so we/you did best for our needs. Take care, and thanks so very much."

"I just wanted to write a quick note about our experience with Italy Perfect and in particular, our stay at the Castello Niccolo. In a nutshell, I have never been more pleasantly surprised!!! First of all, you took the time to explain exactly what to expect; whether it was with regards to amenities, towels, telephone, etc, it was absolutely 100% accurate.  The documents you sent me provided us with invaluable information that was fantastic.  You took the time to answer any questions I had with regards to this rental as well as offer suggestions and advice with regards to the rest of our trip to Italy.  That shows tremendous professionalism on your part! Finally about the Castello...our experience was amazing.  The place was just magical, the staff was lovely, and the proximity to the cities (Florence, Pisa, Sienna) was exactly as you had mentioned.  The small town of San Casciano was great; the supermarket (COOP) was incredible, and we simply could not have asked for anything more. I will gladly promote your services to everyone I know and would not hesitate to recommend any property you advertise on your website. O thank you so much; my family was thrilled and we will hopefully be returning very soon.  I will be sure to use your services again for every time I plan to travel to Europe. If any of your clients have any questions regarding this property, please let me know; I will be more than happy to share my tremendouz experience."

Landini

Landini

"The Landini apartment was perfect for our stay in Rome. Very spacious and clean. Weather was mild enough in January to even have cocktails on the terrace one evening (nice surprise!) while we watched the sun go down. Many excellent restaurants in the neighborhood. We would happily stay again. We were pleased with all our interactions with Italy Perfect. They are total pros. "

"We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Pasquino apartment in Rome. Lisa at Italy Perfect was so helpful answering our questions before our arrival and the driver recommended by Italy Perfect made our arrival go very smoothly. Loved Cul de Sac restaurant on the piazza below the apartment. Apartment was very clean, well organized and comfortable. We will be happy to recommend it to friends. "

Imperial Vista

"We loved our stay at the apartment. We were greeted by the sweetest lady (mother of the owner I believe). She was very helpful and thorough explaining everything in the apartment. The location of the apartment was great, the view of the Colosseum- especially at night was amazing! Many restaurants and a grocery store are close by. Any questions or concerns we had were quickly answered and/or addressed. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rome."

"This charming apartment is really well located - easy walk to all of the most interesting parts of Florence. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well provisioned so that it is easy to eat at home. Every aspect of the apartment is comfortable. The building is secure. Our hosts were charming and directed us to very good restaurants nearby. We loved it and we loved Florence."

Prisco

Prisco

"My family and I spent most of December through early January at the Strozzi, Prisco and Michaela apartments. The accommodations were perfect for 3 couples with both privacy within each unit and the ability to be together in the larger Strozzi unit for meals and Christmas dinner. The units are located on a very busy street, close to every type of restaurant and shop the city offers. And, it is all just steps from Piazza della Repubblica, and a couple blocks more from there to the Duomo. The owners were attentive and accommodating - bringing us extra dining chairs for the 6 of us to share meals together in the large and well appointed kitchen in Prisco; gifting us with a Panettone at Christmas and offering many suggestions for restaurants and shopping. As we travel to Florence frequently, we found the location to be a centralized hub for walking throughout the city.[Thank you for your lovely review Susan!
