"We loved our stay there, and Lorena, who was essentially our concierge, was delightful and so helpful. Traveling most of the day and arriving late in the afternoon, it was really nice to have the basics already on hand when we got there. We were invited to dinner onsite later that night with the other guests, and it was absolutely superb: some of the best pasta I’ve ever had in my life. It’s also very centrally located to some of our favorite Italian wine regions (Montepulciano, Montalcino). "
"The history of the property is fascinating. Our apartment was very clean, well stocked, and nicely appointed. The living room size was lovely. The grounds are gorgeous. I was disappointed to see that this apartment actually has a connecting door to the next apartment, so all their kitchen activity and noise was heard in our space. Also it would have been helpful to know that the arrival to the estate was down a long dirt road. We turned around twice thinking we had made an error. The hospitality of the greeter and organizer, Lorena, was outstanding. If you are looking for a remote country side stay in the Val D’Orcia, but with some concierge type help nearby, you should love this setting. [We are pleased this guest enjoyed her stay but sorry she overlooked the information on the webpage about the connecting door in the foyer. The dirt road is only 1 mile and is typical for rural, farm estates & part of the Tuscany experience. The Italy Perfect Team]"
"When we arrived, mother Sonia greeted us and showed us the house and how to operate everything. The view is to die for and a painters paradise. The home is centrally located, Florence less than 15 minutes to park and take bus to center of city, Seina about 45 minutes to old wall and park, San Giamono is so close you can ride your bike there, but is probably the most interesting place to visit. Go early for parking and shopping. Higher end shops there too. We love the quiet back country feel and restaurants, small vineyards, and markets nearby.Ciao, and drink Chanti. "We had a lovely stay there. The staff was really wonderful and the apartment was very large and charming. The unit isn’t luxury in the classic American sense - more comfort, charm and character than pure luxury, but it was exactly what we were looking for and very comfortable. We always try to stay at places that are unique and allow us to feel like we are living there rather than staying in a hotel and this place is exactly that. It also has a lovely courtyard and beautiful grounds."
"Location: Perfect. set between Via Babuino and Via del Corso. One does not want for anything from upscale stores of every sort to small restaurants and an easy walk to many historical sites. Two grocery stores are about three blocks away - one selling organic food.Accommodation: Perfect. Four of us enjoyed this magnificent apartment. The highlight - at least for us - was the terrace. A lemon tree, lime tree and a fig tree. And, church bells ringing in the background. (Only a soft murmur of the city noises can be heard) Few places - apartment or not - can offer as much. Add to that lovely flowers and lots of herbs and one can hide out for days. Beautifully furnished and completely stocked - we could have served an elegant Thanksgiving dinner with ease. Nellie: Perfect. Helpful and kind in everyway. Italy Perfect: Perfect. Got us from the airport with some changes due to late flights; and, later to the train station as well. Rocco and his van are definitely the way to go. The Rome guides suggested on their website exceeded our expectations.Complaints: None! [Thank you for your great review! "All the glowing reviews are right on target. The apartment is elegantly furnished yet comfortable and blissfully quiet. I loved living among the frescoes and the soaring ceilings made me feel like the place was my private palazzo. The location can’t be beat — all the museums and sights are a 20 minute walk away, if that. We found the local Corad to stock pretty much everything we needed. The wonderful Osteria dei Benci, just two doors down the street was our favorite casual restaurant and we ended up eating there four times during our week there. Go for the daily specials! Elisabetta was available to greet us, show us around and demonstrate how machines worked. She had kindly set us up with breakfast fixings. We found ourselves locked out one afternoon and she graciously came to let us in within the hour.Staying in this apartment made our Florence trip experience exceptional.[Thank you for your great review! "This is a lovely apartment for one or two people. It is well maintained, quiet, bright, and airy, with a beautiful little altana (rooftop terrace) reached by a few steps. The location is ideal, whether you want to join the crowds around the Piazza San Marco or explore quiet streets. Be sure to visit the Piazza before 9 a.m. and after 10 p.m., when you will have it mostly to yourselves. Also go to the quiet campo Santa Marina, a few minutes' walk from the apartment, for good Venetian-style dining at l'Osteria di Santa Marina and pastries and coffee at Didovich next door. Nearby you will find a Coop for food and supplies, and Al Portego, a bàcaro (bar with snacks) popular with locals and students. Paola is a perfect local contact, knowledgeable about all things Venetian, conscientious, and accessible. I highly recommend Italy Perfect--you really can't do better! "We have returned again and again to this very special destination, near the small town of Bucine. We had never stayed here in June and really enjoyed this time of year and the use of the wonderful pool and the surrounding gardens. Our accommodations were perfect, clean, orderly and very quiet and private as always. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, an easy drive to Florence, Arezzo, Siena, the Chianti Mountains and Montelchino, etc. The small town of Bucine has a small but very good farmers market every Wednesday, they also have an excellent butcher who sends you home with some of his own homemade sausage as a little gift. The fruit/vegetable market next to him is also very good, and they are very friendly. There is an excellent laundry service right next to the COOP as you first enter the town, they wash, fold and iron your clothes, it is a wonderful service. We do not go to restaurants, but prefer to stay in and cook. We would definitely recommend to couples, families with small children, anyone, this very magical place. "

"This is our second apartment rental with your company. Our apartment in Venice was beautiful, comfortable and the accommodations were in line with a 4 star hotel. Location was centrally located for easy access getting around. The freshly baked croissants and apartment service was greatly appreciated and made a difference. Our tour guide was beyond outstanding and helped us navigate the local restaurants that can be a little tricky, tourist vs local establishments. Yes I have and will continue to recommend your company to family and friends.[Thank you so much for your kind review, we are happy that you enjoyed your stay at Menta and look forward to welcoming you again! "Had the most wonderful stay at the Solare during my 4 weeks in Florence. I could not have asked for a better location, with amazing local wonderful restaurants right at my doorsteps. The host was incredible and very accommodating, which made my stay that much more enjoyable. She was knowledgeable, kind, and always available, from allowing me to drop-off my suitcases early in the morning before the check-in time, to always being available if I should have any questions or ever needed anything. The apartment itself was perfect, and felt like my home away from home. It was a wonderful reprieve to come home to after a long day in beautiful Florence. Thank you again to the beautiful Solare apartment and it's wonderful host, and to Italy Perfect for making it so easy to find a perfect apartment for my stay in Florence.[Thank you so much for your kind review, we are delighted you enjoyed staying at the Solare and hope to welcome you again! "Our 1st visit to Tuscany was a dream and a must return to Borgo Tiglio! This amazing stone farmhouse was a true experience of Tuscan life with gorgeous grounds and views. Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable, well equipped with everything needed when we arrived and for our 3 night stay.....we only wish we had friends with us to enjoy this experience and wished we could have stayed longer. Lorena was most helpful and gracious helping us with directions to wine tasting, beautiful hilltop village exploring, wonderful restaurants and assistance when we most needed help-car trouble!! When in a foreign country for the 1st time, it is reassuring to know that a local is there for you, thank you Lorena! The location of Borgo is convenient to visit the walled hilltop villages, all within 20-60 minutes. Restaurants are 5-10 minutes close by. We enjoyed a true Tuscan homemade dinner, provided by our hosts and felt very welcomed and well taken care of. The vast grounds of Borgo are so relaxing, so beautiful and we look forward in spending a longer stay there next visit. Our visit was beyond our expectations, thank you! "We have stayed at the Strozzi several times over the years. Its location is convenient for visiting and exploring all of Florence. There is now even a grocery store at the end of the block, in addition to the bakery a few doors down. The apartment is well kept, always clean and very comfortable. Mikki and Franco are fantastic hosts and were very helpful in making our stay a pleasant one. We don't hesitate to recommend this property. Renting an apartment through Italy Perfect was very easy and very organized. "We stayed in an apartment on the top floor of the Palazzo Antellesi on the Piazza Santa Croce in Florence. The apartment (Miravista) was extremely comfortable and spacious and had a wonderful outside terrace overlooking the piazza and Santa Croce church. This location is slightly off the beaten track, which made it even more desirable, but still easily walkable to all the sights of Florence. It was nicely fitted out with all the appliances you could want, and everything worked and appeared to be well maintained. Several nearby neighborhood restaurants that we would recommend are Osteria Dei Pazzi (Via Dei Lavatoi), Osteria de' Benci (Borgo Santa Croce), and both Cibreo and Trattoria Cibreo (Via Del Verrocchio). We would definitely recommend Italy Perfect to our friends (as we would Paris Perfect, which we first used in 2001). [Thank you Jane, we are happy you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you again! The Italy Perfect Team]"
"Very good Apartment, well furnished, very comfortable, excellent location. The Hosts were very good in communicating all information we needed the Restaurants suggested were very good. All in all we had a very good experience . Some suggestion: The Apt. could provide a few things like Coffee, Tea, some drinks, milk etc this would specially when people arrive late and are not able to go shopping. Would recommend to friends. [Thank you so much for your kind review. We will do a better job of offering a shopping service for late arrivals, too. Thank you for the suggestion. The Italy Perfect Team]"
"This property was immensely comfortable and very tastefully furnished with room to spare for four adults. A major bonus was the constant supply of bottled water (both still and sparkling) which is invaluable plus the most amazing homemade croissants that were delivered warm each morning at precisely eight am. The local contact person also saved us from a potentially disastrous outing to one of the islands with her advice that on the weekend we might wait hours trying to catch a vaporetto back. The location is superb and I highly recommend wandering other neighborhoods such as Cannareggio to get a true Venetian experience. We have now worked with the Perfect family in three different countries and I would recommend them without reservations. They are a professional, prompt and quality oriented operation with a keen sense of customer service.[Thank you so much Greg, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you again! "Regina Alta is amazing place to get-away with friends and family. I chose the property for the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and most importantly the unbelievable pool. The location was perfect for settling in for a 3 week visit. The town of Monsummano Terme, which is where the house is located (very close to Montecatini) was charming, with many great places to eat. We shopped at the weekly market, impressive in size and fresh produce offerings. Pizza and pasta are not to be missed at Sotta Grotta (ate there 4 times) and if you want meat, go to Il Mailletto (ate there 2 times). They also have yummy Pappa al Pomodoro (tomato bread soup) and Riboletta (vegetable bread soup). Just 1 km from the villa, up another steep hill in Monsummano Alto is La Foresteria, another great restaurant with beautiful views of Montecatini Terme (ate there 3 times). Fried Polenta bits were ordered every time! The main town of Montecatini Terme, is about a 10 minute drive from the villa. It's a large city with plenty of restaurants, high end shopping and a Funicular that takes you to the top of Montecatini Alto. Osteria di Poneta was another favorite restaurant in Montecatini Terme. Lucca was a 30 minute drive away and Florence was about 45 minutes. We also visited 2 wine regions: Monte Carlo (15 minute drive) and Bolgheri (75 minute drive). Both great wine regions to try if you've already been to the Chianti region. Special tours I found were in Lucca. A 5 hour market tour and cooking class with chef Giuseppe Mazzocchi from Extra Virgin Cooking was so much fun. We cooked, ate and got to take home the recipes. Lucca Bread Kitchen taught my husband and I how to bake olive bread, Grissini and Focaccia. Upon arrival to Regina Alta, my husband and I met the owners, Anne and Alessandro. They were warm and friendly and took us on a tour of the entire property. The place was exactly as the pictures on the Italy Perfect web site. The bedrooms were spacious and all the beds comfortable. There are shutters on all the windows to keep out the heat, but they were all screened in as well and let in a ton of fresh air.I was surprised to find an American sized washer and separate dryer. I was expecting a European washer/dryer all in one. It was a great bonus for us and all of our guests that were passing through. The kitchen, while large, is not quite set up for guests who like to cook. The stove was large and professional - make sure you ask how to use it and get specifics. My husband and I love to cook, but still had problems getting the oven lit and getting the oven fan to shut off. Counter tops for prepping don't exist, but we used the large kitchen table instead. All the small appliances sit in one corner of the kitchen with the dish washer. So in the morning when you want to make coffee, toast bread, use the microwave, grab the salt, sugar, etc while emptying the dishwasher there was a bit of a traffic jam. Nothing really can be done to change this arrangement, so you enjoy the quirkiness that is part of the villa experience. Also, if you like to cook, I suggest bringing your own chef knife and maybe a paring knife or 2. The owners purchased a knife set that was fine, but all the other knives that were in the house we old, dull and stored in what we labeled the junk drawer that housed anything and every utensil you would need in a kitchen. My husband also makes homemade pasta and when we asked about a rolling pin, the owners happily retrieved it from the other property (regina bella) next door. Maybe guests don't make homemade pasta, but each property should have their own rolling pin. There is a charcoal grill which we used often and most meals were eaten outside, in front of the house, where there was a large picnic table and the best sunsets. If you are with large groups, I recommend hiring the catering service/chef to come in and cook for your group. Ars Libandi was the name and they are directly connected to the owners. They have plenty of menus. We asked for a few substitutions and they were flexible. Plenty of left overs for other meals. If you are going to pay for the chef, spend a bit extra for the serving and clean up. You'll feel like royalty. The weather during our stay was perfect, but one of our chef meals was inside at the majestic dining room table. With the windows open, it was another lovely space for a special dinner. Now on to the pool - the main attraction of this property. It's not only the pool, but the vistas and places to sit and enjoy the scenery. Umbrella table outside seats 8 and there are plenty of chairs and lounges for your guests. I figured out how far it was to swim a mile (100 laps) and started or ended most days with a private swim. When I wasn't swimming for exercise, there were enough rafts and tubes to float around with your guests. While you have neighbors on both sides of the property, the grounds are very private. While touring was fine, the main focus of this vacation was living and entertaining in an Italian villa - which is what I did for 75% of this trip. This property was my dream come true. I am so happy I found Italy Perfect when planning my big 50 birthday celebration. Don't wait to book Regina Alta if it's your dream! I reserved my 3 week stay, 1 1/2 years in advance and I had to adjust by trip by one week due to another reservations that beat me to it. Pat, one of the 2 owners of Italy Perfect was always available to me via email or phone. Someone always got back to me quickly. They answered all my questions and when they didn't have the answers, they spoke to the owners and got them. Working with Italy Perfect gave me piece of mind so I could have a relaxing vacation. There were really no surprises when I arrived. [Thank you so much Carol, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay! The Italy Perfect Team]"
"This well-situated guest cottage was the perfect place to return to each day--quiet, shady, and clean. Our two sons loved the pool in the mornings. The owners have done a lovely job providing the ideal rental for a couple or a small family. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we also could walk out a few minutes and arrive at a stunning overlook of the sea and sunset. [Thank you Anne, we are pleased you enjoyed staying at the Luna! The Italy Perfect Team]"
"Our family of 13 arrived in the late afternoon and found the villa beautiful, well appointed and very clean. There are three staircases that led to different parts of the house-all completely detached from one another. My 82 year old mother was able to reach her bedroom, aided by a handrail on her steps and the children's rooms were far enough away to the adult's rooms to ensure quiet evenings. Sheets on the beds were wonderful and all said beds were comfy. We all enjoyed long walks up and down the nearby hills, the mass in an ancient church closeby, as well as dinner at La Foresteria, a truly magical spot near the church overlooking a bluff. We were the only diners and adored the dinner and service. All in all, our week was magical and the location was perfect. The funnicular ride up to Montecatini Alto was one of our favorite excursions. Our chefs were the daughter and son in law of the owners. The food was fine but not amazing. We didn’t use much air conditioning but it was, as advised, billed separately. All of the extra charges were collected in cash on check out. We were short so had to run around. [We are delighted you had such a nice stay and experience. The Italy Perfect Team.]"
"From day one of making the reservation, the management warmly welcomed us to Florence and the support staff address all our needs throughout our 36-day stay. My 17-year-old son, 81-year-old mother, husband of 38 years and I enjoyed this apartment's many features. Its perfect location near Santa Maria Novella train station granted us access to not only all the walkable Florence sites but also towns near to (and far from) Florence (Pisa, Lucca, Venice, Cinque Terre). We loved looking out our windows at the activities on the street below us-- parades, tourists, musicians, dancers. None of these sounds made it to the bedrooms, so we slept peacefully each night, occasionally awakened by the cooing of morning birds. We appreciated the air conditioning a few times and found the washer/dryer helpful. The quiet elevator accommodated all four of us easily, and we loved Massimo who greeted us with his friendly words and smile each time we entered or left the building for our morning pastry runs, afternoon grocery stops and sight-seeing, or evening walks for gelato and people-watching. Because of this apartment rental, we did indeed spend an Italy Perfect month with Florence as our base. [Thank you so much! We are delighted you enjoyed staying at the Beatrice! "I would highly recommend Italy Perfect! My husband and I worked with them before on a trip to Rome and there was no question to contact them again for the trip we took this year. We decided to bring all of our adult children - party of 6! We chose Amerigo's Vista for our group and loved the apartment! Our greeter was wonderful and very helpful. She showed us how to use appliances and the life saver washing machine! She went over the map of Florence and the neighborhood pointing out restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores. We went with her suggestion about dinner and had a great outdoor dining experience across the Arno. We had snacks and wine on the terrace, enjoyed a pizza night and watched a movie for some down time![Thank you so much Karen, we are pleased you enjoyed staying at the Amerigo's Vista and look forward to welcoming you again! "My husband and I ended our two week trip to Italy with three days in Rome. Big cities are loud at all times of the day and night, but walking into the Princess Paolina was like taking in a deep breath, so quiet and relaxing. This apartment is modern and updated, with attention to details to make your stay pleasant. From the electric black out shades in the bedroom, to the stocked beverages in the refrigerator, we could not have been more pleased. Our greeter, Franscesco, was great!! He provided a map for us and marked his favorite places to eat! He was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. We were very pleased with the location of the apartment. Easy to get to, with nearby restaurants, and tons of shopping!! Italy Perfect was a pleasure to work with and would highly recommend them!! We would also highly recommend the Princess Paolina!! [Thank you Susan. we are glad that you could finish your trip happy and satisfied with our service! The Italy Perfect Team]"
