"The location couldn't be better. Plenty of room for all five of us. Plus everyone had there own bath plus air conditioner in all rooms. Host were very accommodating and answered all questions. Only one flaw kitchen needed a few more items (soap for dishes and surfaces). Our six days couldn't have been better. [We are delighted your stay was so nice. The Italy Perfect team]
"We had a wonderful stay in Florence. This apartment is very spacious and comfortable. The location was great. Our greeter was very helpful. Would highly recommend this apartment for families. The restaurant right next door was very good and very friendly. Thanks Italy Perfect for the wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend them to friends. [Thank you so much! The Italy Perfect Team]
"This was our second time staying at this house. the first time we stayed at Villa Mare. This time at Vila Sole. The computer photos do not do justice to this wonnderful place. We felt very much at home here. the owners made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. The location is truly spectacular. From the expansive porches you can see Capri, Ischia and the bay of Naples. Breathtaking. This was such a wonderful find.. Tranquil, peaceful, clean.... all you could ask for in a vacation rental. We loved looking at the beautiful flowers, the lemon trees, and of course the sea. Sunsets were beyond words!!!. We want to return again soon! The Massa Lubrense area is not very touristy so we really liked that. We had dinner at Michelle's and Funiculi FUnicula and la Cartuccia. All excellent!. I have recommended Italy Perfect to many and will continue to do so. It is easy. They are thorough and I can't wait to book my next trip!!!! [We truly look forward to working with such a cheerful guest, again! The Italy Perfect Team]"
"We were very pleased with the apartment; it was spacious and elegant with a magnificent view of the Arno River, Ponte Vecchio and the museums across the river. It was within easy walking distance of the major attractions and there were numerous restaurants in the area. They were good but it seems the quality of food seems to have gone down versus our earlier trip to Italy in the mid-80's. That is not to say the food was bad, there just weren't any 'Ah-Ha' moments. Believe the food would have been better away from the cities. There is an excellent grocery store within a few hundred meters of the apartment that we made good use of. Like the French, the Italians don't seem to be much on breakfast. Believe we hit the weather just right. A little later and things would have been uncomfortably warm. Support staff in Florence was great! They were very cordial and helpful for the few requests we made. In fact, the same can be said of all the Italian people we ran into. FYI, we had spent a week in Rome before taking the train to Florence. Many of the comments about Florence, especially the restaurants, held true there as well. The only negative we had was our departure from the Florence Airport. No one seemed to be in charge. There were long lines that you really weren't sure of whether you were in the right one or not. Quite frankly, it reminded us of our days living in the middle east. Guess the best take away is be sure to have plenty of time allocated to airport activities."

"This is the second time I have visited Florence and stayed at the Palazzo Antellesi. I spent two weeks in The Alcove apartment, first with friends and then family. The Alcove is extremely comfortable and very well equipped. It has an unbelievable location, only a five minute walk to The Uffizi, The Arno or the Piazza Repubblica. There are wonderful restaurants nearby, our new favorite is Cucina Torcicoda which we returned to several times. The best gelatoria in the city is Vivoli and is around a corner from he apartment. We also went back to the Mercato Centrale several times to eat at their new third floor food hall. My 13 and 16 year old grandsons went shopping there and bought food to cook dinner for us in the apartment. If you can time it right, come in June and you will have front row seats for the famous Calcio (soccer) tournament. Thanks to Cecile, the manager, for all her help. We will be back. Susan Rose
"Our apartment was very comfortable, quiet, clean, and well equipped. It was located in a historic palazzo turned into apartments on the Piazza Santa Croce. Our interests were in history, art, and architecture so the location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere and even manage one of our party in a wheelchair. There is a "super" market a few blocks away for anything from staples to fine wine. We ate well everyday in a restaurant near our morning excursions, so all over the historic area. Food was great everywhere. Our travel companions are world-class consumers of gelato and give world-class honors to the small gelateria around the corner, facing the convent associated with Santa Croce. The folks at Italy Perfect were very helpful. And, yes, I would certainly seek them out again and recommend them to friends.
"Best location, just a few steps from Ponte Vecchio on the Oltro Arno side. Apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Made extensive use of the kitchen due to convenient supermarket just two blocks away. Look forward to returning someday!"
"Could not have been more pleased with the beautiful apartment with spectacular view of the Arno with the Ponte Vecchio on the left and beautiful Florence in front. The Italian hosts were helpful, warm and welcoming. We would definitely stay again. The location is great close enough to everything, yet far enough for quiet."
"After staying in Florence as a couple or solo a few times, it was time to find a 'family' apartment for a summer vacation. AC and American amenities were desired for two young adult sons and husband comfort. The apartment suited our needs perfectly. The apartment was cool during a very hot, humid stretch of weather. After traveling for weeks and eating out, it was nice to fix some meals in the well equipped kitchen and do some laundry. The location was great. It was super easy to get to all our favorite places in Florence, and discover new ones. Street level next door is a gelato place and a fab restaurant nearby Bar Golden View is very good. Overall, everything was very nice."
"Italy Perfect was a great rental company. They helped us create a perfect vacation. Our group was 12 people, and everyone had a wonderful time and did not want to return to the US. The location os the apartment was great, because we had a supermarket, a juice bar, a gelateria and a restaurant for lazy nights. We can't stop talking about Florence, the apartment and food!"
"The Alcove apartment was spacious and gave us room to relax and spread out as we were staying for 2 weeks. The advantage of this unit is that it looks out on the piazza but the bedrooms are in the back so you cannot hear the noise at night. It was the best of accommodations and I would happily book it again! Santa Croce is a great location - 5 minutes walking from both the Arno and the della Signoria. Numerous good restaurants nearby, too many to detail here. It is very crowded during the day but gets quiet in the evening. Also there were several performances in the evening on the piazza so we had the opportunity to see a rock opera, a band and a soccer/rugby tournament at various times. (Apparently, the piazza is a performance venue during the summer.) My only criticism of the building is that occasionally the elevator would go out but the staff was always very responsive to that or any other concerns. During our time there, we used 2 of your recommendations: Marco Stivo the driver and the Tavola cooking school. Each provided excellent services and made our time there more enjoyable. I would happily recommend Italy Perfect to friends, etc. and look forward to returning to Florence, most likely in 2 years. Thanks for all your help."
"The photos are accurate -- the view is gorgeous, with Capri always visible. The unit is about 60 feet above the water. The kitchen, while small, is usable. The deck is huge, with a table seating 8 where we ate most of our breakfasts and some lunches. It was very quiet at night. My only criticism is that the shower in the master bedroom was quite uncomfortable, with no water pressure and less room. The shared bathroom had a better one. The location is quite good -- it's a 5 minute drive from "downtown" Massa Lubrense, which is a nice small town with food shops. Sorrento is a 20-30 minute drive. There are many good restaurants in the area, with two decent ones a 1km walk along the water in Marina della Lobra. The owners, Luciana and Gino, were very responsive and helpful. Italy Perfect was a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn't recommend this for those with bum knees or hips due to the steep, narrow stairs"
"The Villa Mare at San Montano is an amazingly beautiful and tranquil villa situated just outside Sorrento with quaint winding roads leading down to the sea. Waking up every morning to beautiful views of the Med and the Isle of Capri, and ending every evening with splendid sunsets was truly magical. Our hostess, Luciana, and her support staff were friendly and helpful."
"Villa Mare was the perfect place for my family of 6. I was so happy we stayed in peaceful MassaLubrense instead of busy Sorrento. It was still close enough to Sorrento if we wanted to visit. The service was fantastic. The owners were very helpful. They were warm people who made us feel very much at home.I did not ever want to leave!!! The home itself was beautiful with wonderful views of the sea. There was a quaint harbor nearby with some very delightful restaurants. The kids loved the pool and the beach. Everything we needed was here. It was the perfect italian villa."
"The Villa was everything you said it would be and more, Pat. We kept very busy sightseeing but every day we swam in the warm sea. The hostess was so welcoming. Jim managed to find his ancestor's hometown, a long but fulfilling day trip. We even learned how to make lemoncello."
"Renata was everything it was advertised to be! A fantastic location for exploring all of the great historical locales of ancient, Renaissance and modern Rome. Shopping! Dining! Safe! Comfortable! The apartment itself makes you feel a part of all you came to see. Tastefully decorated with a mix of today and yesteryear...while having modern bath and kitchen facilities. A huge library of research and reference books that help you understand all you have taken in on any given day. We'll do it again...and again! [We are thrilled you had such wonderful time! We hope to welcome you back soon! The Italy Perfect Team]"
"Beyond comfortable! Beautifully remodeled flat with every comfort of home. We were super comfortable with six - the bathrooms are big, the water is hot and they are beautifully appointed. The great room with kitchen is gorgeous and the view is a painter’s dream. I did two water color paintings sitting on the patio - dreamy Tuscan views.Location, location, location! I had to pinch myself when I was falling asleep in my quiet room knowing the Ponte Vecchio was steps away. Don’t miss nearby Gusto Pizza, local pizza - pure Tuscan heaven. so many perfect days and we walked everywhere. This place is a treasure! [Thank you so much, Moira. It was a pleasure to welcome you to Florence. The Italy Perfect Team]"
"The excellent apartment was close to all important monuments and restaurants. It is in a secure building. Our hosts were hospitable and helpful. The apartment was comfortably furnished and the kitchen well stocked for food preparation. [We appreciate your feedback and are thrilled you were so satisfied with the apartment! The Italy Perfect Team]"
"Our family of 5 had the most perfect stay at this property over the Christmas and New Year holidays. The owner clearly knows how to accommodate every need with organic bath soaps and shampoo, fluffy towels, bathrobes, a basketful of hairdryers, first aid kit, and a well outfitted kitchen for quick breakfasts or a night in. Art and history books are carefully laid out on the coffee table, little dishes of Italian candy are in each room, as well as subtly scented diffusers that do not overwhelm like air fresheners from back at home. There is absolutely no clutter. The penthouse is spotless, and is cleanest rental we’ve come across in all of our travels. We enjoyed having so much space for privacy and to come together to read and chat. Be sure to book the additional expense for the sauna. It was very convenient and easy to use after a long day sightseeing and walking. This is a professionally maintained rental property and the expertise shows from our communications, checking in and out, to the generous pantry basics on our arrival. We were greeted with a basket of dried fruit, Prosecco, pastries, and a fridge filled with eggs, milk, juice, butter, and prosciutto. It was so nice to have this all on hand for our first breakfast, slowly eating and watching Florence come to life through the windows. And because we enjoy the noise that comes with an urban center, we opened the window a bit to hear people walking by, Vespas zooming along, and shopkeepers beginning their day. No guidebook could have prepared us for the exceptional view of Florence’s skyline. The photos in the property listing are accurate, but to see the sunrise and sunset over the rooftops and church was an experience we will never forget. We were lucky to catch glimpses of the New Year’s Eve fireworks as well as an incredible New Year concert at Theater Verdi just across the street. Our stay was so easy, we didn’t have to make extra runs for supplies or worry about anything really, but just enjoy all that Florence offers. "
"We stayed in the Valentina apartment in the Spanish Steps area of Rome during the week of Dec 14. The apartment was amazing - beautiful, in a perfect location, a working gas fireplace (we used this everyday - not because we were cold but just for the atmosphere) and just very charming. It was literally around the block from the Spanish Steps (and fyi - there is a metro stop right at the Spanish Steps) and the area was perfect - if we opened the windows we could hear street musicians when they came out at night (eg, opera, sax players) which I loved. ItalyPerfect was great for us - they provided all the necessary information plus more and the greeter was very kind and accommodating and spent a lot time going over all the information in the area plus the apartment. Her restaurant recommendations were very good especially Osteria 31 which was delicious and very authentic. We were just down the street from a food store and bakery which we went to each morning. In addition we used the driver service and tour guides recommended by Italy Perfect and all were amazing. I would definitely recommend Italy Perfect and the Valentina apartment. [Thank you for your great review Jackie! We are thrilled that you had such a wonderful time in Rome while staying at the Valentina Apartment. The Italy Perfect Team]"
