"Italy Perfect was a great rental company. They helped us create a perfect vacation. Our group was 12 people, and everyone had a wonderful time and did not want to return to the US. The location os the apartment was great, because we had a supermarket, a juice bar, a gelateria and a restaurant for lazy nights. We can't stop talking about Florence, the apartment and food!"
"The Alcove apartment was spacious and gave us room to relax and spread out as we were staying for 2 weeks. The advantage of this unit is that it looks out on the piazza but the bedrooms are in the back so you cannot hear the noise at night. It was the best of accommodations and I would happily book it again! Santa Croce is a great location - 5 minutes walking from both the Arno and the della Signoria. Numerous good restaurants nearby, too many to detail here. It is very crowded during the day but gets quiet in the evening. Also there were several performances in the evening on the piazza so we had the opportunity to see a rock opera, a band and a soccer/rugby tournament at various times. (Apparently, the piazza is a performance venue during the summer.) My only criticism of the building is that occasionally the elevator would go out but the staff was always very responsive to that or any other concerns. During our time there, we used 2 of your recommendations: Marco Stivo the driver and the Tavola cooking school. Each provided excellent services and made our time there more enjoyable. I would happily recommend Italy Perfect to friends, etc. and look forward to returning to Florence, most likely in 2 years. Thanks for all your help."
"The photos are accurate -- the view is gorgeous, with Capri always visible. The unit is about 60 feet above the water. The kitchen, while small, is usable. The deck is huge, with a table seating 8 where we ate most of our breakfasts and some lunches. It was very quiet at night. My only criticism is that the shower in the master bedroom was quite uncomfortable, with no water pressure and less room. The shared bathroom had a better one. The location is quite good -- it's a 5 minute drive from "downtown" Massa Lubrense, which is a nice small town with food shops. Sorrento is a 20-30 minute drive. There are many good restaurants in the area, with two decent ones a 1km walk along the water in Marina della Lobra. The owners, Luciana and Gino, were very responsive and helpful. Italy Perfect was a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn't recommend this for those with bum knees or hips due to the steep, narrow stairs"
"The Villa Mare at San Montano is an amazingly beautiful and tranquil villa situated just outside Sorrento with quaint winding roads leading down to the sea. Waking up every morning to beautiful views of the Med and the Isle of Capri, and ending every evening with splendid sunsets was truly magical. Our hostess, Luciana, and her support staff were friendly and helpful."
"Villa Mare was the perfect place for my family of 6. I was so happy we stayed in peaceful MassaLubrense instead of busy Sorrento. It was still close enough to Sorrento if we wanted to visit. The service was fantastic. The owners were very helpful. They were warm people who made us feel very much at home.I did not ever want to leave!!! The home itself was beautiful with wonderful views of the sea. There was a quaint harbor nearby with some very delightful restaurants. The kids loved the pool and the beach. Everything we needed was here. It was the perfect italian villa."
"The Villa was everything you said it would be and more, Pat. We kept very busy sightseeing but every day we swam in the warm sea. The hostess was so welcoming. Jim managed to find his ancestor's hometown, a long but fulfilling day trip. We even learned how to make lemoncello."
"Renata was everything it was advertised to be! A fantastic location for exploring all of the great historical locales of ancient, Renaissance and modern Rome. Shopping! Dining! Safe! Comfortable! The apartment itself makes you feel a part of all you came to see. Tastefully decorated with a mix of today and yesteryear...while having modern bath and kitchen facilities. A huge library of research and reference books that help you understand all you have taken in on any given day. We'll do it again...and again! [We are thrilled you had such wonderful time! We hope to welcome you back soon! The Italy Perfect Team]"
"Beyond comfortable! Beautifully remodeled flat with every comfort of home. We were super comfortable with six - the bathrooms are big, the water is hot and they are beautifully appointed. The great room with kitchen is gorgeous and the view is a painter’s dream. I did two water color paintings sitting on the patio - dreamy Tuscan views.Location, location, location! I had to pinch myself when I was falling asleep in my quiet room knowing the Ponte Vecchio was steps away. Don’t miss nearby Gusto Pizza, local pizza - pure Tuscan heaven. so many perfect days and we walked everywhere. This place is a treasure! [Thank you so much, Moira. It was a pleasure to welcome you to Florence. The Italy Perfect Team]"
"The excellent apartment was close to all important monuments and restaurants. It is in a secure building. Our hosts were hospitable and helpful. The apartment was comfortably furnished and the kitchen well stocked for food preparation. [We appreciate your feedback and are thrilled you were so satisfied with the apartment! "Our family of 5 had the most perfect stay at this property over the Christmas and New Year holidays. The owner clearly knows how to accommodate every need with organic bath soaps and shampoo, fluffy towels, bathrobes, a basketful of hairdryers, first aid kit, and a well outfitted kitchen for quick breakfasts or a night in. Art and history books are carefully laid out on the coffee table, little dishes of Italian candy are in each room, as well as subtly scented diffusers that do not overwhelm like air fresheners from back at home. There is absolutely no clutter. The penthouse is spotless, and is cleanest rental we’ve come across in all of our travels. We enjoyed having so much space for privacy and to come together to read and chat. Be sure to book the additional expense for the sauna. It was very convenient and easy to use after a long day sightseeing and walking. This is a professionally maintained rental property and the expertise shows from our communications, checking in and out, to the generous pantry basics on our arrival. We were greeted with a basket of dried fruit, Prosecco, pastries, and a fridge filled with eggs, milk, juice, butter, and prosciutto. It was so nice to have this all on hand for our first breakfast, slowly eating and watching Florence come to life through the windows. And because we enjoy the noise that comes with an urban center, we opened the window a bit to hear people walking by, Vespas zooming along, and shopkeepers beginning their day. No guidebook could have prepared us for the exceptional view of Florence’s skyline. The photos in the property listing are accurate, but to see the sunrise and sunset over the rooftops and church was an experience we will never forget. We were lucky to catch glimpses of the New Year’s Eve fireworks as well as an incredible New Year concert at Theater Verdi just across the street. Our stay was so easy, we didn’t have to make extra runs for supplies or worry about anything really, but just enjoy all that Florence offers. "
"We stayed in the Valentina apartment in the Spanish Steps area of Rome during the week of Dec 14. The apartment was amazing - beautiful, in a perfect location, a working gas fireplace (we used this everyday - not because we were cold but just for the atmosphere) and just very charming. It was literally around the block from the Spanish Steps (and fyi - there is a metro stop right at the Spanish Steps) and the area was perfect - if we opened the windows we could hear street musicians when they came out at night (eg, opera, sax players) which I loved. ItalyPerfect was great for us - they provided all the necessary information plus more and the greeter was very kind and accommodating and spent a lot time going over all the information in the area plus the apartment. Her restaurant recommendations were very good especially Osteria 31 which was delicious and very authentic. We were just down the street from a food store and bakery which we went to each morning. In addition we used the driver service and tour guides recommended by Italy Perfect and all were amazing. I would definitely recommend Italy Perfect and the Valentina apartment. [Thank you for your great review Jackie! We are thrilled that you had such a wonderful time in Rome while staying at the Valentina Apartment. The Italy Perfect Team]"
"Our stay in Rome at Landini was everything we dreamed of and more. To say we loved our stay, would be an understatement! Our host was gracious and accommodating in every way, and we immediately felt at home. The apartment and it’s furnishings were comfortable, stylish, and in fantastic taste. We were centrally located and were immersed in Roman daily life and culture. We did not want a “touristy” feel, yet we felt at home in every respect. We felt privileged to stay in such a gorgeous spot! As a history buff, the knowledge that we were so comfortable in a family home that has endured 5 centuries, is truly exceptional. Fantastic appointments and service, insured that we will return again and again! We’re already discussing our next trip back to Rome and looking forward to staying again!"
"We loved our stay in Florence. Memoria is located right at the end of the the Ponte Vecchio bridge....the location was perfect for us. Since it's close to the bridge you do hear some street noise but nothing that kept us awake. We enjoyed the sounds of the city and the street music that occurred most nights. And most everything was within walking distance. We were fortunate to be in Florence when the marathon was taking place. Our balcony provided us with a birds eye view of the runners as they crossed over the Ponte Vecchio. Exciting! Florence has so much to offer in culture, eating experiences and shopping. A few of the restaurants we enjoyed are Mangiafoco Osteria, La Galleria, and Rooster Firenze. I would recommend you trying them all! The apartment was roomy, clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed. Our greeter, Isabel, was very nice, provided us with all the necessary information and was available if we needed to reach out. I would utilize Italy Perfect again and would recommend them if your planning a trip. [We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay and the Memoria Apartment Robin! We would love to welcome you back soon! The Italy Perfect Team.]"
"We had a wonderful week at the Zegno apartment. As a family of 6 (2 parents, 2 older children, 2 grandparents), the apartment provided ample space for everyone. The washer and especially the clothes dryer were great benefits, as we travelled during a rainy week. The location is superlative: the predominantly pedestrian streets in this neighborhood are great for shopping and an evening passeggiata. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from the metro and from a taxi stand, making it very convenient to travel to all parts of the city. The area has a number of great restaurants for meals or an aperitivo prior to dinner. We can't recommend the Zegno apartment highly enough. [Thank you for your wonderful review Paul! We are delighted that the Zegno apartment was so much to your liking. The Italy Perfect Team]"
"What a delightful apartment in historic Florence. We stayed seven weeks in the Donatello Apartment and enjoyed its charm, beauty, and convenience. Situated on Piazza Santa Croce, the apartment was convenient to walk all over Florence, but enough off the beaten path to feel like a real residence and not a tourist spot. I would highly recommend this apartment. Enjoy Florence. [Thank you for your kind review. We look forward to welcoming you back to Italy in the near future! The Italy Perfect Team]"
"This is the second time I have stayed in this apartment - the Ginevra. It is close to the Spanish Steps, the taxis stop, great shopping and restaurants. The apartment itself is great with two bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. Plus the kitchen and wash machine. I love it and the amenities. There is also a third room with a sofa that could be used as a third bedroom for a child. Anyway close to everything I wanted and an elevator what more could you want!!! [We are delighted to hear that you are loved the Ginevra and its location so much! We hope we can welcome you back for a third time! The Italy Perfect Team]"
"We have only wonderful things to say about this charming, comfortable and delightful apartment with the PERFECT terrace overlooking Piazza Santa Croce! My daughter and I spent a month here and we adored Mimi and did not want to leave. The photos on the website are accurate, but it's even more inviting in person. It is not overly grand, no frescoes on the ceilings like some of the other apartments in this building, but it's warm, welcoming and very comfortable......and its crowning glory is the large, private terrace with multi-million dollar views.Stepping out onto that terrace every day (with the Santa Croce Basilica to your right, views of the the hills of Fiesole over the rooftops directly ahead and the Duomo to your left) was like living in dream. Or a Merchant/Ivory film. Simply glorious! Being able to step out onto that terrace at any time of the day or night, watch the sunrise, see the sunset, dine outside, have a glass of wine looking out over the city and seeing and hearing all the life buzzing around you was priceless. We loved hearing the bells and the hum of the people in the piazza below and the location was so convenient to everything the historic center has to offer. The Arno river is only a couple of blocks away, the Duomo is about a 10 minute walk. There are too many wonderful shops and restaurants to mention (well I'll mention Boccadama as it's literally right downstairs and we ate there about 7 times because it was so delicious) plus a large and excellent Conad grocery store is about a 5 minute walk from Mimi. There's even a taxi stand right in the piazza, super convenient! In terms of the interiors: the pretty master bedroom is roomy with plenty of closet space and a very comfortable bed with good linens and great pillows. The delightful second bedroom is smaller, but also had plenty of closet space and was really cozy for one person with a very comfortable, wider than normal single bed. Showers and water pressure in both (clean) bathrooms worked well. Both bedrooms were quiet at night as they do not face the Piazza, so we slept peacefully. As you can see from the photos, the living room is very charming with a small sofa and two comfortable armchairs with a lovely view out across the Piazza. There is a nice dining room with a sturdy table for 4 people and French doors out the the terrace...although my daughter set up her office on the table so we really didn't use it as a dining table! We loved the kitchen! It's really functional and very well stocked, we cooked a number of meals in it and it had everything we needed. There is a good sized refrigerator with a freezer (ice trays), dishwasher and a combination washer/dryer that came in very handy for a month-long stay. One of the things we enjoyed most about the kitchen was the gorgeous view from the large window....it looks out across beautiful terracotta rooftops, in the direction of the Arno and up to the Bardini Gardens and San Miniato al Monte. The beautiful views and nice natural light that comes into the kitchen from this window gives the kitchen an open and airy feeling and it's a lovely space to work in. Another benefit of Mimi, is the professional management that is onsite. Cecile, the greeter, is responsive and dependable, so any issues that might arise will be dealt with promptly. And the team at Italy Perfect was terrific to work with as well! Side note: the elevator is small (2 people)...but modern and runs well. Oh, and bring a pair of travel binoculars...we had fun from the terrace looking at the folks at the top of the Duomo, the Torre di Arnolfo and the people in the Piazza, as well as the pretty surrounding hillsides! As you can tell, my daughter and I had a marvelous experience and are already planning our next trip back to Florence and the lovely Mimi...."our" charming rooftop nest with a terrace of dreams. Grazie mille Italy Perfect! [Thank you for your lovely review Jane! We are so pleased to hear you had such a wonderful time staying in Santa Croce Mimi! We look forward to welcoming you back next year. The Italy Perfect Team] "
"This was the second time we've stayed at Casetta Bonsi. This time for 4 wks! We loved living like a local. Shopping at the markets, eating at the fabulous cafes in the Oltrarno, day trips to other towns by train... an easy 20min walk.Maurizio is the perfect host. Always available to answer any query & give advise when needed. We adored the little patio & spent time there every day having a coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. We really felt at home. [Thank you Anna! We are happy you enjoyed your stay at Casetta Bonsi. So pleased you enjoyed living like a local! The Italy Perfect Team]"
"The apartment is perfect for a Rome family holiday, very spacious and easily accomodates 6 people in comfort. 2 well appointed bathrooms and an ideal kitchen with eating area. Very quiet too. Hosts were very nice people and couldn't have been more helpful. Location is perfect for walking to the sights and there are loads of great restaurants at the door and a supermarket. [Thank you for your great review! We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay. The Italy Perfect Team]"
"We (2 of us) absolutely enjoyed our week in Florence in the Torella Apartment. Torella was perfectly comfortable, with a large terrace and an amazing rooftop bedroom (with 180 degree views). After a day of sightseeing, it was wonderful to pick up a bottle of wine from one of the nearby shops and sit outside watching the light change from day to night (partial view of the Arno). The apartment was comfortable and sufficiently equipped. The kitchen is small, but we weren't cooking, so it was fine for basics. There are a lot of stairs within the apartment, but we knew that in advance. The stairs simply justified all the gelato we ate that week. The building is in a fantastic location, directly across the Arno from the Uffizi, and is well-maintained. We had excellent communication in advance of our trip. The greeter and the building's doorman were friendly and helpful, the list of recommended restaurants and other services was excellent. A gourmet grocery two blocks away provided just about everything we needed. Wi-fi worked well. We highly recommend Italy Perfect (and Paris Perfect, with whom we booked in 2018).[We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay! Looking forward to welcoming you back. The Italy Perfect Team]"
"As our first stay at La Rosetta it simply could not have been more of a pleasant surprise! The pictures simply do not capture the charm, the quality and stunning character of this Villa and the grounds! While we were not at all worried, since this was just the most recent of "many" stays with the "Perfects" in Italy, France and the UK,...We were still bowled over when we arrived. The property greeter "Filippo" was more than helpful and their nearby Hotel / Spa / Restaurant / Winery was also absolutely stunning! Our large group was more than comfortable in the main house and cottages...and our local chef (Susanna) prepare three outstanding dinners at the Villa during our stay! The short rural drive from the highway is well worth what is waiting at the other end! We will definitely keep this property on our list of one to return to again! [We are very pleased that La Rosetta was so much to your liking! Would love to welcome you back in the near future. The Italy Perfect Team] "
