"Our vacation to Florence was wonderful. Just like in the movies. Everything was just as you had written in your packet. The apartment was clean, organized and beautiful. What fun we had! I know our travel plans in the future will include your services."

"We had the opportunity to stay at the Strozzi last month. What a wonderful apartment in a wonderful location. I can't think of a single thing that I would change about the accommodations. The restaurant suggestions by Italy Perfect were very helpful, I would recommend you try any of those on the list. We were never disappointed. The service at the Strozzi was excellent, very professional and very helpful. What a fantastic stay in Florence!"

"We throughly enjoyed our stay in Rome. The location was very close to the Spanish Steps which made it an easy landmark to find (especially for the directionally challenged Lori). Now for the apartment, a lovely renovation that keep to the character of the building. It was so welcoming at the end of a busy day of shopping and touring to sit with a glass of wine and review the events of the day. It was very clean, well stocked, safe, close to grocery store and with lovely high ceilings. Lori"

Vespucci

Vespucci

"The Vespucci, without a doubt, was as close to perfect as any vacation home I've rented in North America or Europe in the past 20 years.First, the location. The apartment is in a block from the Arno River, situated between the American Embassy a few blocks away on one side and a large park area a few blocks the other way. As a result of the limited street access to the area, it is virtually traffic free.I don't think I ever had to dodge a Vespa like one does elsewhere in Firenze! It was very quiet, day and night, so was easy for the light sleepers in the family to have a good rest. The apartment is on the 4th floor, so you are above the neighboring buildings with lots of air and light. One side fronts the street, the other an inner court yard.Screens on the windows let in fresh air on our warm days without any bugs joining us.The apartment itself is a delight. Two bedrooms, two baths, fully equipped kitchen, inviting living room. The beds are very comfortable (too hard or too squishy beds being one of my pet peeves in vacation rentals) with good bedding and several pillow options. Bedside lighting was perfect for reading at night. The bathrooms were modern and spotless. Hot water on demand so no wimpy morning showers.Towels were large and soft, with two per person. The living room/dining room area had good lighting, nice furniture. The TV had Italian channels; who needs to hear the bad news on the English CNN while you are on vacation! The DVD player worked with our daughter's North American dvds from home. The kitchen was fully, and I do mean fully, equipped for a family.Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, utensils. The fridge and freezer is huge by European standards, and there's even a dishwasher. The washing machine worked fine, as did hanging the wet laundry to dry in the little 'bonus' room at the end of the hallway. Also used this area for storing our luggage and all the goodies we bought while in Italy. The owners are absolutely delightful. Taking us in with virtually no advance notice because of a problem with a different property, they really saved our three weeks vacation in Firenze. They were very helpful, answering any and all questions. When we had an internet connectivity issue on our first day, they immediately remedied the problem. The apartment came well stocked with maps, information and travel books provided by the owner. We had great fun, our last evening, having snacks and wine with them discussing our time in Italy and their hopes to get to Alaska for a visit. Wonderful people with a wonderful property."

"Italy Perfect made planning our trip to Italy much easier! I always got prompt answers to questions, the info sent to us was very helpful and both accommodations worked out great for us! We also stayed in a pensione, a 5 star hotel and a 2 star hotel in various Italian cities. By far our favorite places to stay were the two apts. we rented ; the Strozzi in Florence and the Via Veneto in Rome.Having quiet, peaceful, but pretty, places to stay where we could spread out and relax after long days of walking, eating and sightseeing was great. Having windows you could open at night was wonderful for me. The washer in both places cut down on clothes we needed to bring (leaving much more room in our suitcases for gifts we brought back).I read the other reviews and went to several places they recommended. Our recommendations in Florence include: For dinner: Trattoria Sostanza, Via del Porcellana 25/r, 39-055-212-691. Reservations needed- order the chicken, beef and artichoke omelet. Also Trattoria 4 Leoni, Via del Vellutini 1/r, Piazza della Passera, 39-055-218-562, reservations recommended. Order the gnocchi. Find Grom for gelato and anywhere in Florence for the best cappuccino in the world!"

Casa San Vito

Casa San Vito

"We found the location of Casa San Vito perfect for exploring Tuscany and beyond. The house was just as described, and Francesco and his family were very welcoming. It was very nice to come back to the peace and quiet of the villa after a day of sightseeing, yet we had wonderful access to the major roads for daytrips. We enjoyed going for walks right from the villa's door, which offered more of the amazing views also available in every direction from the villa itself. The villa was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We had no problem with the size of the refrigerator, and as we traveled with 2 small children, we certainly made use of it. The warm pastries at the mini-market in Romita are not to be missed."

"The Valentina apartment is spacious and elegant. The owner lives in the same apartment complex so she's close by if you have any questions or concerns. Location was central to the sites we visited (Vatican Museum, Pantheon, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain) and it was nice to have the metro only a few blocks away. Rome is an amazing city. The history, the architecture, the art, the food, the people are fabulous. We hope to return for a longer stay and venture out to other parts of Italy as well. I highly recommend Italy Perfect."

Renata

"This is a fabulous apartment in an even more fabulous location. Lots of room for family. For adults with small children, the master bedroom is located a bit far from other two bedrooms. The Renata apartment would be better suited for older children. Our two girls loved having their own wing (ages 13 & 10). We did not have a bad meal in any of the local restaurants. The location was very central to all attractions. This was one of our favorite vacations. I have told everyone how pleased we were with Italy Perfect. We only had housekeeping one day, was expecting it during the week days, but it really didn't make any difference to us. Just might want to confirm this if it is important to you."

"The Michaela apartment was perfect for our needs. The compact kitchen is fully equipped and I enjoyed cooking many meals with the wonderful ingredients purchased at the Mercato Centrale...be sure to taste the abundant samples at Perini! The bathroom is spacious and immaculate, the bed is very comfortable. The computer room felt like an extension of the apartment, an added bonus. Most importantly Miki and Franco are wonderful hosts. They welcomed us warmly, took pride in giving us a tour, and showed us how things work. We loved the neighborhood and walked everywhere. A favorite restaurant is La Spada, very reasonable especially for take out. The info packet from Italy Perfect was very comprehensive and helpful. We have rented from Paris Perfect also and our future European travel plans will always include one of your excellent apartments. Thank you."

"Dear Pat,I just wanted to send you a little note to tell you about our fabulous trip to Rome. It was much more than I expected . I can not wait to return and spend more time exploring. First, the apartment was perfect for us. Our hostess was is lovely and couldn't have been nicer. I felt very comfortable and at home in the apartment. It is very well equipped, even though I didn't cook it was nice to have breakfast and it was fun going to the market and experiencing the Roman way of life. Loved the area. I feel very confident in referring your services to friends. We were a little apprehensive renting, but after such a wonderful experience I really feel it is the perfect way to spend a holiday with family. You obviously have great taste and I will be in touch with you for future rentals. Maybe, Paris next year. Thank you again. Anne Marie"

Bellina

Bellina

"We rented the Bellina apartment on very short notice after another accomodation fell through. We especially appreciate Lisa's help: she not only knows the properties, but also the location. We stayed 8 nights over the new year and found the the apartment extremely comfortable: great sofas for reading, comfortable bed and good linens. The decor was far better than so many of the tacky, Rome apartments. Only two drawbacks of the apartment itself. First, the kitchen could have been better stocked: a better skillet and larger pot for pasta, a juice squeezer, etc. We like to cook and the butchers on the street, the green grocers, the fresh pasta from the charming shop on Via de Greci and a good enoteca on Via di Ripetta make this an ideal spot for easy, good and inexpensive meals. The location, while not my first choice, ended up to be quite nice. We liked the street, and being close to Piazza Popolo, especially to take it in early in the mornings or late at night. Just a 20 minute walk to Piazza Navona or Campo de' Fiori; great access to the metro. We didn't eat out a lot in this neighborhood, but did have a fun Sunday brunch at Babette's (the French/Italian restaurant) between Via Babuino and Margutta just one block from Popolo. A word of caution, V. del Corso and Babuino are packed with shoppers, and this can get tiresome, but there are plenty of small streets in this area that are fun to explore. (Or, consider being there in January: the sales--soldi--are spectacular.) We definitely plan on using Italy Perfect again, even if we choose another apartment, or--perhaps--for another city. Again, thank you, Lisa, for all your help."

"The accommodations were amazing. Great location and setting. My brother and I probably enjoyed sightseeing and sleeping in the most (we are university students). As previously stated, the location and neighborhood were wonderful and there were really no problems or drawbacks whatsoever. The landlord/owner was very nice and helpful with all of our questions and had great patience and understanding despite our lack of ability to speak or understand most of the Italian language. Thank you very much."

"The apartment was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. Marcella greeted us upon arrival and was very gracious. She was always available for any questions or issues. We absolutely loved the location and couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful the neighborhood is. While the neighborhood is very upscale, there are still many casual and inexpensive restaurants in the neighborhood. We were able to walk everywhere in the city from our neighborhood. The decorations around the city during the Christmas were fabulous and we really enjoyed spending New Year's Eve in Rome. It did seem a little wild that night. We had been told in advance that it would be safe, and it was. We highly recommend Valentina!"

"We are two middle aged ladies who are dedicated art lovers and museum goers. We spent a week in the Strozzi apartment in late October, 2008 and loved every minute. The location is in a safe, upscale, conveniently situated neighborhood, with every needed service nearby. Our expectations were exceeded, and we plan to stay in Strozzi again within a year or two.Our dealings with Italy Perfect were exceptional. Every detail was handled professionally and to our satisfaction. We plan to use this company whenever possible, and recommend Italy Perfect without hesitation to all travelers."

"My mom and I were returning to Firenze to visit my little sister in the last few weeks of her semester abroad. I too had lived in Firenze over 10 years ago, so I knew the area that apartment would be located in. As the taxi pulled up I was very excited to see that the apartment was not only wonderfully located but it was right down the street from one of my favorite places to eat (La Spada=astounding food!) Miki and Franco were waiting for us with open arms, and a bottle of Vin Santo. They explained were everything was located and left us feeling cared for and well taken care of. The computer room was a huge plus as well as the loaner cell phone. The apartment itself was wonderfully laid out and had an abundance of cooking supplies. Though it would have been nice to have a DVD player in the unit. We did enjoy flipping through the satellite TV channels. It was great being able to wake up make a cup of coffee and just relax in the living room. My mom enjoyed meeting our neighbors and exchanging stories of their travels. The location of the apartment was great as well seeing that it is just a 5 minute walk to the bus or train station. I plan on returning to Italy later this year and I will definitely try to stay here again. Thank you for an marvelous time!"

"As we approached our apartment, we were surprised at how upscale and beautiful the neighborhood was. While it is in one of the nicest areas of Rome, we never felt out of place with our 3 children. In fact, it felt very safe, and there were many inexpensive restaurants from which to chose close by. The location turned out to be ideal. We found that we could walk everywhere. The apartment is beautifully furnished, updated and very large. There was more than enough room for our family of 5 to spread out. The kitchen is small, but is well stocked and can be used to cook anything. We never prepared a dinner in the apartment, but it could be done. The woman we rented from was lovely. She lives one flight up which made it convenient for any questions. She addressed any issues we had with promptness. We highly recommend visiting Pompeii. However, we went during December and were told it is almost prohibitively hot during the summer months. We took a train from Rome which included a transfer in Naples. If you are planning to do a day trip to Pompeii, I would recommend hiring a driver and settling on a price ahead of time. The train was a hassle and we felt we got ripped off on the way down. We also took tours of the Forum and the Vatican which we highly recommend. Even if you've visited the Pantheon during the day, it's worth a night time visit. There are many, many restaurants in the area, and the Pantheon is particularly impressive at night as are the fountains.Don't forget to try the gelato. We became addicted. It is very fun to try out the different gelato places."

"We spent the first 2 weeks of November in the Strozzi apartment and loved it. Miki and Franco were delightful and very helpful. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable, and we liked that it is part of a private corridor with computer room and other amenities. The location is very central--we walked everywhere. We did cook simple meals, although since there is no counter space it required some juggling. The Mercato Centrale is a fabulous source of food and shopping there was a highlight of our trip. Thank you, Lisa, for answering all of my questions so quickly, and thanks to Miki and Franco for being perfect hosts."

Bellina

Bellina

"The Bellina worked for us very well; we were blessed with a favorable euro/dollar exchange rate and the apartment provided lots of good space, far more than a hotel room, for just under $ 250 U.S. per night for the two of us. The kitchen was efficient even if we used it very little; the bedroom was cozy with many pillows and blankets; the bathroom functioned well. We particularly liked the living room space with it's two couches and flat screen tv---a fine place to collapse after rigorous days of being tourists. The Italy Perfect staff were very helpful, pleasant and efficient. We shall be back!"

"We absolutely loved te Renata apartment. The owner met us and allowed us early morning check in. The location is perfect with wonderful restaurants and shopping. Centrally located. A very safe neighborhood. After many years of staying at the 5* hotel next door, the Renata was a wonderful alternative. Plenty of room. I highly recommend the Renata. Live like a Roman."

"Overall we were very pleased with Strozzi. The location was great; we loved the neighborhood. The use of the computer, internet, and printer was a bonus that made the trip so much easier. All the recommendations for nearby restaurants and shops were right on. Service was very good. No complaints at all. Appreciated having a lift, washing machine and bidet, TV, lots of room. And the welcome basket with a bottle of wine that we drank out on the terrace was a very nice touch."
