Valentina was spacious, beautifully appointed, central and surprisingly quiet. We would like to stay there again!

"We loved our visit to Florence and it was made even more enjoyable because the Strozzi was in the middle of everything. We could walk to everything and the nearby restaurants were great! The owners were so sweet and helpful and made us feel right at home. Would stay there again!"

"My daughter and I spent a wonderful week in Florence and our stay in the Strozzi apartment made is a comfortable one. It was nice to have a living area and separate bedroom with spacious bathroom and even a dressing area. Strozzi faces an inner courtyard which is quieter than facing the street. There were a couple of evenings, when people staying across the courtyard from us played their music very loudly but it really didn't bother us since we liked that kind of music! We felt very secure at Strozzi knowing that we were in a building with an outside locking door, down a hall with its own locking door and on the third floor (U.S.). The elevator came in handy when we came and went with our luggage, but other days we used the stairs and convinced ourselves that we were walking off all of the great food we were eating. The apartment is very centrally located and we walked to everything we wanted to see with no problem. We took advantage of the use of the mobile phone and it worked well for our needs. There were only a few small problems we encountered. There are three computers in the shared area, however only one was able to get internet access. The other two seemed to need reconfiguring. Also, we could not get the printer to work when we wanted to print out boarding passes. The other small issue was with the kitchenette. Instead of a kitchen, Strozzi has a four-burner stove, sink and small fridge located in the living area in a large armoire-like cabinet. The two back burners didn't work and neither did the fridge. There is however a fridge located in the dressing area that did work. If you intend to do any meal preperation at all, the cooking facilities at Strozzi may not be enough. There was no work surface area and it was a bit tricky to juggle various kitchen chores at once. Over all, we had a fantastic visit and would definitely use Italy Perfect again. The comfort and convenience of a centrally located apartment beats out a hotel every time. [Sorry this guest had a problem with the printer in the little computer room, it has been fixed. Our personal review of Strozzi states "Kitchenette is suited to light meal preparation since there is no counter space" which this guest might have overlooked. Sorry that there was a misunderstanding during the check in process about the stove & fridge, possibly due to a language barrier. The small refrigerator has since been removed to make room for a microwave. The dressing room has a full size refrigerator with separate freezer compartment. All 4 stove burners work but switching on all 4 at once can cause the circuit breaker to trip which is standard in most Italian homes, same as not being able to operate two energy hungry appliances such as the washing machine and a hairdryer in almost all Italy properties, explained in detail in the confirmation materials. "The apartment was located in a very quiet area and an easy walk to the city center. The owner was so helpful in getting us settled in the apartment and also with information on the city. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable for 2 couples. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip. Italy Perfect provided all the information we needed prior to the trip and we will use them again for our future visits to Italy."

We loved the location of our apartment in Rome. Very near Piazza del Popolo and The Spanish Steps, we walked everywhere -- even walked to Vatican City. The apartment was small but cozy with modern conveniences in a great, old neighborhood. Our greeter, was outstanding.

"We loved the Tesoro apartment. It is big, beautiful and located in the perfect place. The Piazza Santa Croce is right out the door and it is central to everything. We walked everywhere. We especially enjoyed the welcome "treats" and having all of the books on Florence and Italy to read and reference."

"The apartment was very large and very nice. The Frescos on the wall were lovely. Our host was not available on the day we arrived so she sent a friend over until she could get there the next day. He did not fully explain how to operate everything and it wasn't until the next day when our host got there that we were able to operate all appliances. The location was WONDERFUL! Our only problem: When we entered the apartment, it was aparent that someone/many people had been smoking in that apartment. I'm sure it is a no smoking apartment and if one smoked you should have used the little balcony. However the smell was awful until we could get the windows open...every single time we came in the apartment. The smell went away eventually only to be battled the next time we closed all the windows and came back later. The apartment could also have used more lighting..it was quite dark in there at night..made reading difficult. Having said that...there were plenty of towels, the apartment was well stocked and TWO bathrooms was wonderful! [We are delighted to hear that the Davis' enjoyed the apartment and location but sorry to hear about the smoke smell. We assume that perhaps previous guests might have ignored the no-smoking policy which is hard to enforce if guests are not considerate. We will ask the owner to review the lighting and supplement it as needed. Lisa Italy Perfect]"

"Time flies and I have been very remiss in not writing earlier to say how much Liz and I enjoyed our holiday on Serenata a month ago. It was everything that your brochure said it was, and some more so. It was hard to fault it - except perhaps the lack of basic kitchen equipment such as scales, measuring jugs, etc.. We especially enjoyed the roof terrace and spent a lot of time there looking down on the gondoliers, etc on the pathway below. [I’ll mention the lack of a scale and measuring jugs to the owner; I know she cooks when she is in Venice. I’ve seen Italians cook, they do it all by estimate amd measures at hand, so maybe that’s why those items are missing. My Italian-Italian cook book doesn’t use precise measurements: big spoon, little spoon, a glass-full or a small cup, a fist. a thumb... pb]"

"The location and apartment itself couldn't have been better. The 3 of us were quite comfortable, and the second bathroom down the hall was very handy. We appreciated having the internet and wireless available. The location was great, right in the heart of the city center. The only drawback was the noise. We kept our windows open because it was warm, rather than use the air conditioning. The noise late at night from the other apartments was significant. Bring your earplugs or shut the doors! We were met arrival and well oriented. I had private Italian lessons for a week at Istituto Italiano nearby and it was great. [In addition to the bathroom off the Strozzi bedroom there is an extra bathroom for the exclusive use of Strozzi or Prisco apartment guests down a private hall. You are likely to hear the neighbors when guests & the other building residents have their windows open, as you would anywhere in the world where there is close quarters, an adjustment for travelers who are accustomed to living in private, standalone houses. "
Vespucci Apartment was terrific. The apartment was very clean. It had everything you needed for short or long stays. The host was super nice and helpful. The location was great if you don't mind walking to major attractions. Less noise and traffic than in the center of Florence. Food, produce, wine and cafe within walking distance. Would highly recommend and would stay there again.

"The Tesoro apartment in Florence was more than we imagined. We fell in love with it within the first day. It was beautifully appointed, very clean, organized, and well maintained. The location was wonderful. Close enough to heavy tourist areas but tucked away so that we had a private oasis. Also, our hostess, Elizabetta, was extremely kind and thoughtful, leaving us coffee, wine, snacks and other goodies in the kitchen. We rented from three different companies on our three-city tour, and in hindsight I wish we'd rented them all from Italy Perfect. The level of service was excellent overall."

"We had an extended visit to Florence in 2009 and stayed at apartment Mimi. It is perfect for two people. A very comfortable home away from home with a charming ambiance and lots of character. The north facing terrace is a luxury in Florence and made all the difference to our stay. We regularly ate breakfast or dinner on the terrace which looks out to Fiesole and is dominated by the striking facade of Santa Croce. Mimi is well located and within walking distance to Florence's many treasures. The small functional kitchen was well used. Shopping at the local supermarkets, butcher in Via dei neri and nearby fresh food markets made the stay even more special. If we didn't feel like eating in there were a number of excellent restaurants and wine bars nearby. The locals we met in the restaurants and local shops were very friendly. The staff at Palazzo Santa Croce were very helpful and also very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will return.” We look forward to your return trip in 2011! IP"

"This apartment was in an excellent location in Florence. We were extremely grateful to Miki and Franco who helped us out immeasurably with our lost luggage - which required waiting for delivery over three different days and too many phone calls. They were very very sweet, warm, comforting and had a great sense of humour - even when helping us struggle with a phone card problem. They seem to love what they do, and we were lucky to have their help. Miki and Franco also smoothed our stay with respect to tips re travel- bus to Siena, train to Lucca - and offered lots of helpful information about restaurants. The trattoria we frequented the most was the the Antique Carrosseria which had great pizza for the kids and overall delicious meals. On the other side of the river - a great family friendly pizzeria was Dante's and the best gelato we had in Florence - on the corner , at the river, contemporary design, but can't remember the name. Also have to mention the best meal we had - truly superb - also a short walk from the apartment at Gustovino. The apartment was certainly big enough for a family of four, the air conditioning not nearly as expensive as we thought and the building, of course, very quiet. The cafe at the ground level two doors down was excellent for your morning macchiato. We did shop for a few things nearby - but favoured a likely all to expensive fruit martket in between the two big piazzas. All in all a great 7 days, and without Miki and Franco we would have not been able to enjoy most of it, nor see nearly as much art! Thanks again."

"Apartment was very spacious. Endearing decor of antiques. Beautiful view of the Santa Croce church. We were apparently there during a Florence holiday so the square was obscured by an arena and stands that were set up for the performance. It would have been nice to know that in advance as we had planned a country trip that day and had to miss the performance and festivities. Master shower head needs to be changed and then the shower would be great. All and all a nice apartment."

"The Strozzi apartment was a great place to stay in Florence. Conveniently located near the train and bus stations, we found it to be a good location from which to make our daily excursions. The accommodations were comfortable and met our needs for a place to collapse after a day of touring Florence. Our hosts were quite accommodating and even arranged for our cab on the day of our departure."

"The apartment was stunningly beautiful and we showed it to all our fellow students [guest was taking a 3-week art class in Florence] who were so impressed with standard of artistic decoration as well as the level of comfort and the convenience of it. When I return to Florence with my husband I will certainly be asking you if I may book it again."

"
My husband & I recently enjoyed a 6 night stay at the Bellina Apartment which has a very convenient & central location. We found it spacious for 2 people & thoughtfully set up. The internet access & use of a local mobile phone were very useful. 2 minor drawbacks were the very firm mattress & the lack of a full size ironing board when like us you are travelling for 3 weeks. Our favourite local resaurant was Palathium (from our Italy Perfect recommendations) & we went there twice. The Italy Perfect service was very good & our greeter very helpful & pleasant.

Our stay at Vespucci was wonderful. The owners were wonderful and the location of the apartment is perfect - quiet however close to the central area. The owners supplied our every need.

"We found the accommodatons very nice and comfortable. The only drawback was the ice maker did not make ice very well and we Americans like our ice and it could not be purchased anywhere. [The freezer has an ice cube tray, no ice maker. - Lisa] We thought the lighting in the living room could have been better as we did a lot of reading for places to visit, etc. The bathroom was very up-to-speed. The location could not have been any better - it was close to absolutely everything and all within walking distance. The stops and restaurants were great and right at hand. Everyone was very friendly and greeter could not have been more helpful and gracious. It is hard to say what we enjoyed the most as there were so many things to enjoy, but we would have to say just the safety and location of the apartment made our trip absolutely wonderful. Thank you. We look forward to working with you again."

"We really enjoyed our one week stay at the Vespucci Apartment. It was very comfortable and clean. The owner and her husband were extremely accommodating for late check in and very helpful with any questions we had. We chose the location to be by my daughter who was living around the corner so it was very convenient. It's not in the center of town so you have to walk, which we didn't mind, and we took a cab late at night when we were tired. It's just a short walk along the river to the Ponte Vecchio and a 15 minute walk to the center of town. It's a quiet location too for sleeping with your windows open at night. The neighborhood seemed extremely safe, the embassies are right up the street so the police are always around there. There's a coffee shop right across the street too."

"Michaela is the best place we could dream of and more then we ever wanted we got in this sweet little apartment. It is lovely for a couple and you have the internet too. It is close to everything you want to walk to. The owners are so warm and helpful. We will be sure to come back again to stay in the Michaela apartment. Thank you. We would be happy to recommend many great restaurants and to be a referral for anyone who in interested in Michaela. Your service was perfect. I will be sure to recommend you to all my friends."
