"We just LOVED our week here at the 3 bedroom Villa (La Limonaia). We experienced true Tuscan hospitality in an authentic Italian "Borgo". The location is just spectacular. Surrounded by a working winery and situated at the end of a dirt road in the quiet hills of Tuscany. We had our own entrance to a 2 story self catering villa. Our view of the castle made walking out of our home for the week all the more spectacular. Furnishings are authentic and characteristic to the area with Italian antiques. Bathrooms are clean and more contemporary. Our family of 5 used this location to explore many different areas of Tuscany and to attend a wedding near Florence. We felt it was centrally located for our itinerary as many of the popular hill towns are within an equal radius. After our long journey from the US, We took advantage of the lovely dinner and breakfast at the property on the first night. It was lovely, welcoming and delicious. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to enjoy the beautiful pool area during our stay. One of the suggestions I would have for guests interested in staying here would to make sure your car is higher off the ground to navigate the bumpy dirt road to the Borgo. Our rental was low profile and it was difficult not to "bottom out" or scrape the underside of the vehicle on many spots along the way to and from the main road. The staff was always available and helpful for suggestions and recommendations for other dining in the region, directions, etc. The best internet is located in the lobby which is decorated with comfortable sofas and lovely art. Since it is difficult, this day and age, to disconnect from necessary responsibilities at home, it would be nice if WiFi connectivity could be attained in the rooms. Being able to communicate enables us to travel more. Realistically, what makes this place so special is the warmth and hospitality of the hosts. We felt like we were part of the family and would definitely consider staying here again."

"We were 4 people and had a lovely 4 night stay at this apartment. Cannot beat the location! We experienced unexpected rains in May, and we could rush back to the apartment, wait for rains to settle down and head out again, since it was so centrally located! Great restaurant options right down the street. Although centrally located, we did not find it too noisy. Since we were arriving late at night after a long flight, Lisa arranged an airport transfer from the airport and it went very smoothly. There is a small elevator, so luggage was not a problem. Kitchen had a Nespresso machine which we particularly enjoyed! Our greeter was also very friendly and accommodating! Thanks for a great first time experience in Rome!"

"When we arrived, mother Sonia greeted us and showed us the house and how to operate everything. The view is to die for and a painters paradise. The home is centrally located, Florence less than 15 minutes to park and take bus to center of city, Seina about 45 minutes to old wall and park, San Giamono is so close you can ride your bike there, but is probably the most interesting place to visit. Go early for parking and shopping. Higher end shops there too. We love the quiet back country feel and restaurants, small vineyards, and markets nearby.Ciao, and drink Chanti. The unit isn’t luxury in the classic American sense - more comfort, charm and character than pure luxury, but it was exactly what we were looking for and very comfortable. We always try to stay at places that are unique and allow us to feel like we are living there rather than staying in a hotel and this place is exactly that.It also has a lovely courtyard and beautiful grounds."

"We loved our stay at Casetta Bonsi. Maurizio was very thorough when we arrived and gave us all the information we needed to have a wonderful stay. Very clean, beautiful furniture and plenty of room for the two of us. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a great size with storage. This is our second time in Florence and we like this side of the Arno river because it is quiet and away from all the crowds. A grocery store is just down the way and the Open Bar for cappuccinos is close too. When we return, we will definitely return to Casetta Bonsi![We are so glad to hear about your perfect stay! "We arrived late and Francesco mother met us. She showed us around. Francesco came by later to answer any of our questions. He even introduced us to his newborn son. The house is beautifully decorated and the beds were all comfortable. The view seeing the sunset in the morning was spectacular. We did have one issue on the second day. The water was turnoff due to a pipe being replaced somewhere. Francesco was on it. Only issue we had with the house was the second bathroom shower/tub. Water did not come out hardly at all and the other couple staying with us had to use our shower. It was an exciting time for the family and glad that his mother was able to pitch in and help him by coming for your late arrival to welcome you, despite the lack of English, sounds like all went well! "This was our first trip where we decided to stay in an apartment versus a hotel and we were happy with that decision. Isabel, our greeter was very nice and showed us where everything was and how appliances worked. Memoria was spacious (a lot of closets) and CLEAN! This is a 2bed/2bath apartment with a great balcony that overlooks the Ponte Vecchio. From the balcony you get a great view of the Arno River and a picturesque view of the sunset. One very important feature to us was the Washer and Dryer. It allowed us to pack lighter than we normally would and to keep our clothes clean and fresh. We were here for 11 nights and will certainly stay here again on our next trip to Florence!! [We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your trip and our apartment! "Overall, this was a lovely apartment in a great part of town. Easy to get to from the train stations and is within quick walking distance to everything . Franco and Miki greeted us (we arrived early and they were very accommodating), explain everything thoroughly. Great kitchen and large bedroom., great place. The only thing that I would change was to get new bed sheets which is a really small item. Overall: we were very pleased and would definitely stay their again. 5 stars[Thanks so much for the 5-Star rating! Very happy you enjoyed your stay and the warm greeting. Thanks too for the suggestion about the sheets, new sheets have been purchased!]"

"A week at Italy Perfect's Villa Sole was definitely a Perfect family vacation. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. There was plenty of room for our family of twelve, and the accommodations were lovely. The views were magnificent, particularly the sunsets over the Bay of Naples with Capri and Ischia in the distance. There are even lemon trees on the property with an abundance of fruit to admire and possibly pick. We found the area very convenient for our needs. We did rent a car for necessary grocery runs, etc., but the cab service (through Persico) was convenient, and the boat we had prearranged was able to pick us up at the dock at Marina della Lobra, a short, pleasant walk from the Villa. That small port also includes a few restaurants and a convenience story that is amazing -- both for the variety of items they sell and for how helpful the owners/clerks are. They even called a cab for our sons one day! Our greeter, Tina, was helpful and extremely pleasant. She was quick to respond to our questions and requests . The owners were more than accommodating, even stopping by to bring chocolate eggs to our young granddaughter during her birthday celebration. The breakfast and 2 dinners prepared by the in-house chef were delicious with all fresh, local ingredients and baked goods -- definitely a plus with little children. Our experience with Italy Perfect was very positive. Lisa, our salesperson , was responsive and enabled us to get a good sense of the villa. I would, however, suggest that anyone renting for the first time (as I was) carefully read the details on-line about the specific property, as the contracts vary greatly in areas of security deposits, cleaning, washers and dryers, etc. Overall our stay at Villa Sole was a beautiful family escape, and my wish is that we can all return some day. "Located very close to the ponte vechio, uffizi overlooking a landscaped quiet courtyard. While Located approx 150 metres up a narrow street it is a great advantage as only a few cars and people use it. There are so many good restaurants wine bars gelato shops museums. If you are staying some time in Florence the "Friends of Uffizi" is very worthwhile. We have been back to Florence 6 odd times staying from 3 weeks to 2 months and still have not visited all the things worth visiting. We do not use Florence as a base to visit Tuscany.
