"We absolutely LOVED staying at LaFoce Chiarentana. The Tiglio apartment was perfect for our family of 4, my husband and I and our 2 adult children. The setting was idyllic, could not have asked for a better introduction to the Tuscan countryside. The grounds are expansive and a swim in the pool was so refreshing. Loreena was incredibly welcoming and so helpful to us in recommending restaurants, and even called around Nfor us to book reservations. We were pleased to find in the kitchen, a welcome basket--bottle of wine, loaf of bread, meat and cheese and of course, olive oil from the estate. We were lucky enough to have the olive oil tasting dinner the first night we arrived. It was such a pleasure to meet Donata, and hear about the estate and the oils produced there. Our stay was much too short as we spent most days exploring the countryside, but it was so nice to come “home” to Tiglio at the end of the day. The whole time we kept talking about going back with extended family. I would highly recommend this property! We also booked another property with Italy perfect—Niccolo Ginestre, which was also wonderful. I wouldn’t hesitate to book any property through Italy Perfect—It was easy and perfect, start to finish!"

"We’re just back from a 2-week Italy trip, having spent 4 nights in Rome in Centro Storico. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious for our family of five (although they set the 3rd bed up in the ‘master’ bedroom - which we moved to the living room so everyone had their own space at bedtime. ). The library bedroom is very cute and worked well for our two oldest kids. The apartment describes the 3rd bed as a trundle - so I was expecting a pull-out bed under one of the others, but it is a separate bed they set up, which was probably better for us. The location was really great - we walked everywhere - though I’m not sure I would say everything was a 20-minute walk away. Usually a bit longer, but with so much to see along the path, that wasn’t an issue for us. The restaurants nearby were also very good - several wonderful spots just down the road from us - Mimi E Coco was our absolute favoriate (excellent food) and the pizza place a bit down from there was excellent, as well. Really a wonderful stay in the apartment. We didn’t use the kitchen much (at all) but it seemed well stocked. Everything was clean, comfortable, nice decor. We’d definitely stay here again."

"Nice apartment with comfortable living areas located near the Piazza del Popolo. The kitchen is small but fine, especially if you are not going to cook. Only a mokka, a traditional Italian coffee maker. The bedrooms were fine but not really enough places for luggage, so i used the living room area to open my bags. Closets were fine with enough hangers, etc. Could use another lamp in the front bedroom. The air conditioning worked very well and were in each room. Great to have! The Bathrooms were very well designed for the small area they had to use. Everything was on the small side especially the shower but really fine. Easy to access the inside courtyard, used for parking their cars, but it was rather dark outside street entrance at night. Best to take a taxi home at late night if you are a single on your own. The apartment had maps for our use and some info on nearby restaurants which is very helpful for first time visitors in this area of Rome. [Thank you so much for your kind review, Jeanne. We are happy you enjoyed the apartment and location. It is a traditional city apartment so compact in size as you mostly find in Rome. There is an American drip coffee maker, sorry you overlooked it.]"

"The apartment was in a perfect location and was beautifully decorated. We were a family of four who traveled together with a family of six. We rented Alloro and the three bedroom apartment in the same building. Everything was seamless and the staff were very helpful. If we went back to Venice we would certainly rent this apartment again. The views from the windows of the Grand Canal were picture perfect. [We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay! We look forward to welcoming you again! The Italy Perfect Team]"

"This was the perfect location and an amazing apartment. Nice to sit outside on the deck for pre-dinner cocktails. We were a party of 6 and everyone had the space they needed. Was wonderful to have a washer and dryer in the apartment and the staff was lovely and helpful. [Thank you for your kind review! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay! The Italy Perfect Team]"

"My wife, 2 kids, and I spent 5 nights in this beautiful, historic, but updated villa overlooking the piazza of Santa Croce church. The large 3 BR/3BA apartment was just updated, and we were the first guests since the renovation was completed. The apartment has modern, sleek and expensive appliances including a washer AND dryer!! The location is breathtaking as you can look out your windows directly onto the piazza of Santa Croce, and look at the beautiful church as well. Despite being right next to the piazza, we didn't hear any noise from the outside because of the sound-proof windows. Any small inconveniences we may have experienced were quickly rectified once we brought it to on site team's attention (Wi-Fi and how to use appliances). This is the 4th time we have utilized Italy Perfect for trips to Italy during the past 9 years, and we have never been let down. Pat is always very patient with my many questions and requests, and I consider her to be a friend as well as an excellent source of information. If you are interested in high end leather, the School of Leather located on the back side of the Santa Croce Basilica is a must see. We rented a car and went to Arezzo, 50 minutes south, and also went to Maranello (Ferrari Museum) and Modena (about 90 minutes north). If you are interested in Balsamic vinegar and would like to experience the oldest producer in the area, check out Acetaia Cavedoni: http://www.acetaiacavedoni.it/ This family business has been around since 1860 and our 90 minute private tour with Marcello was amazing, complete with bread, cheese, salumeria, dessert, lambrusco, expresso and plenty of balsamic vinegar. Our taxi ride to Fiesole, 15 minutes from the apartment atop a large hill, provided one of the most breathtaking views I have seen in my 4 trips to Italy. Eating at La Reggia degli Etruschi, in Fiesole, was phenomenal!! On a final note, the building is very secure, has great air conditioning in every room, is large, clean and we did not see a single bug or spider in the apartment the whole time. Many thanks to all for making our trip to Florence special!"

"This is a spacious, clean, and well-appointed apartment, centrally located in Florence. Shopping, groceries, the train station and restaurants are within a few minutes of walking. In fact, a nice aspect of Florence is how easy it is to get anywhere without calling a taxi. The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to make a meal in if you want to stay in. The master bedroom has a sound-proof window which cuts the city sounds out at night when it's time to sleep. I think one of the highlights of our stay was our hosts, who made us feel at home, helped with arranging taxi's as necessary and were genuinely interested in making our stay as best as it can be. I highly recommend staying at this property. [We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay with us! We look forward to working with you again! The Italy Perfect Team]"

"We loved our stay there, and Lorena, who was essentially our concierge, was delightful and so helpful. Traveling most of the day and arriving late in the afternoon, it was really nice to have the basics already on hand when we got there. We were invited to dinner onsite later that night with the other guests, and it was absolutely superb: some of the best pasta I’ve ever had in my life. It’s also very centrally located to some of our favorite Italian wine regions (Montepulciano, Montalcino)."

"We had a wonderful stay in the Michaela apartment. Miki and Franco are excellent, charming, and caring hosts, and they are at the building several times a week to help you with anything you need. The apartment is very comfortable and well-kept and its position on the interior of the building is excellent in a busy (noisy) city like Florence. It was quiet and cosy and had everything we needed. Having two bathrooms is a definite plus. The location of the apartment is wonderful: it's a short walk to most of the important sites, grocery stores, the train station, and our favorite restaurants. Our thanks to Miki and Franco for making our stay so enjoyable. We've rented apartments through Italy Perfect several times before in Florence and other parts of Italy, and we recommend them highly. "We stayed a month in Florence in the Prisco Apartment, a beautiful large high ceiling apartment with a very comfortable bed and extremely quiet bedroom (important because it cuts out all street noise). Florence was a great place to take trains to other locations(Rome, Milan, Parma, Venice , Vineyards). While our hosts spoke limited English, they could not have been more gracious and accommodating in answering all our questions in assisting us with our plans. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone traveling to Italy. We really loved the convenient safe location and cleanliness of the city of Florence. The central location of the Prisco Apartment allows you to walk a few blocks to the Duomo and train station and basically anywhere in Florence. We took cooking classes which I highly recommend and found some very special family restaurants. [Thank you for your great review! We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us! "The house is perfectly situated for a visit to Florence, Siena, or anywhere in between. It has a great selection of dishes and cooking dishes. Francesco was a very amiable host and had excellent suggestions. The house has very few neighbors and was very quiet. It is what I have imagined in a Tuscan home - on top of a hill in the middle of olive orchards and vineyards with great valley views. Due to its location and views, it is a few minutes away from shopping. Navi was very helpful for our visit - for shopping, sightseeing, and finding our way back."

Casetta Bonsi

Casetta Bonsi

"Had stayed in the Casetta back in 2006 and always remembered how nice it was, so for our 50th anniversary trip this year we opted for a longer stay of 18 nights. We were certainly not disappointed. Casetta Bonsi is one of the nicest properties we've ever stayed at in all of our years of travel around the world. The Oltrarno location is terrific - a couple of blocks from the Ponte Vecchio but a world away from the bustle (and noise) of central Florence. Being able to come "home" every afternoon after a day out and about was a real treat. The little house contains every amenity, making it an extremely comfortable nest for an extended stay. My wife prompts me to mention that the washing machine was extremely efficient - the best she experienced during our recent 5 week stay in Tuscany.Maurizio (owner and greeter) was a pleasure to deal with ... just a true gentleman in every respect. In summary, we cannot recommend Casetta Bonsi highly enough.[We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay with us! "We stayed at Strozzi last visit and Michaela this time. The apartment was perfect for us. We appreciated tissues, shower gel, coffee, even a bottle of wine. The location makes all the sights walking distance. Franco was very kind, he even walked us to the train when a taxi was not available. We will be back. Beautiful Florence and Italy Perfect. Highly recommend! 10! [Thank you for your great review! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to welcoming you again! The Italy Perfect team]"

Casa San Vito

Casa San Vito

"We spent 5 days recently at Casa San Vito. The house was as described on line - no surprises! It is in a lovely hill town in Chianti, a short drive south of Florence. You definitely need a car for this area, and a very good, detailed map and GPS. Francesco was there to meet us when we arrived and was very welcoming. He provided lots of good information about things to do in the surrounding towns, including markets to visit, wineries nearby, and some great restaurants to try. I would not hesitate to recommend Italy Perfect to a friend. They had a great response time to my emails and one panicked phone call just before arrival at the Villa. Very friendly and professional group of people. [We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for your great review! The Italy Perfect Team]"

"Such a beautiful apartment, right in the heart of Florence, within 10 minutes walk to all points of interest. It was perfect for our family of four! The apartment had a kitchen with all the necessary utensils, kettle for tea/coffee, wine glasses, etc. The bathroom was spacious, with a very nice shower, and there was even a washing machine (much appreciated). The beds were beautiful and comfortable, and it was incredibly quiet, even though we were right downtown. Our hosts were so kind and accommodating, and they provided very helpful information on where to go and what to do. We will definitely be back![We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay! "The history of the property is fascinating. Our apartment was very clean, well stocked, and nicely appointed. The living room size was lovely. The grounds are gorgeous. I was disappointed to see that this apartment actually has a connecting door to the next apartment, so all their kitchen activity and noise was heard in our space. Also it would have been helpful to know that the arrival to the estate was down a long dirt road. We turned around twice thinking we had made an error. The hospitality of the greeter and organizer, Lorena, was outstanding. If you are looking for a remote country side stay in the Val D’Orcia, but with some concierge type help nearby, you should love this setting. [We are pleased this guest enjoyed her stay but sorry she overlooked the information on the webpage about the connecting door in the foyer. The dirt road is only 1 mile and is typical for rural, farm estates & part of the Tuscany experience. The Italy Perfect Team]"
