Spanish Steps luxury at the expansive Zegno apartment which combines beautiful antiques and modern décor in a uniquely Italian stylish blend. Enjoy the best of La Dolce Vita in this great location.
Location
On the corner of Via Condotti in Rome, the Zegno apartment is in the heart of all that is elegant in the Eternal City. A two minute walk puts you in front of the Spanish Steps, a location that is so popular because it is so central. We enjoy staying in this area for its great designer shopping, people watching, array of restaurants, proximity to popular sites and convenient transportation.
Exterior
The building reflects the neighborhood, a proper "palazzo" built about 250 years ago when the Princes Torlonia were amassing their fortunes by managing the fortunes of the Vatican and built the palace across the street.
For larger groups, the Valentina and Renata apartments are in the same building.
Interior
Elegance and refinement describe the Zegno apartment. It is large, luxe apartment for those who want the "best of the best" in a vacation apartment. The top floor position ensures plenty of light. Large, handsome windows in the living room look towards Via Condotti which goes to the Spanish Steps and also overlook Hotel d`Inghilterra and via Bocca di Leone.
Enter the vestibule where the owner (who does not live on the premises) has a small desk to organize check-in`s. There is a room off the vestibule where the housekeeper, who cares for the apartments, lives. Straight ahead are the doors to enter the Zegno apartment.
The living room has many beautiful antiques and paintings from the owner`s ancestral home in Puglia. A flat screen TV mounted in the corner receives some English-language news stations.
The bright large kitchen has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the nice courtyard.
