The Garibaldi apartment is in the fascinating Trastevere neighborhood, one or Rome’s oldest quarters that combines the charms of an ancient village with old-world winding streets with a happening restaurant and pub scene. Great for the young or young-at-heart.

Location

Situated by Piazza San Cosimato the Garabaldi apartment is a few minutes walk to Trastevere’s many enchantments whether dining in one of the many excellent restaurants, shopping in artisan boutiques, enjoying an aperitvo at one of the many outdoor cafes, walking in the Botanical Gardens or to the top of Gianiculum hill where you can enjoy fabulous views of Rome. Piazza San Cosimato is home to the outdoor market where you can buy fresh produce, olive oil, flowers and souvenirs mornings from Monday to Saturday.

Interior

Experience a slice of authentic Roman life with the building’s apartments accessed off an internal courtyard. You might see residents chatting about daily life, a toddler under the watchful eye of grandma, or neighbors hanging their laundry to dry.

The apartment is bright and modern, with functional furniture an no frills. This apartment suits travelers on a budget, it is not fancy or luxury and is good for those who want to enjoy all the Trastevere and Rome as to offer at a reasonable price.

Awash with colorful walls throughout the living room and dining area. The galley kitchen is narrow but with all the great restaurants who wants to cook much? The second bedroom is compact. All the windows of the apartment open to the corridor overlooking the courtyard four floors below. Because of its high position in the building it gets plenty of light.
