"The apartment was well appointed and very comfortable for 4 adults. The terrace views and the great location was awesome. I loved the terrace and painting from it was divine. We all enjoyed the sights and sounds. If you are a light sleeper the canal was a bit noisy in the evenings. Easy access to food stores and transportation. Very nice."
"We just returned home and wanted to thank you and Chiara for our wonderful stay. Chiara could not have been more helpful. We loved the apartment, it was in a perfect location. Thanks again."
"The location and apartment itself couldn't have been better. The 3 of us were quite comfortable, and the second bathroom down the hall was very handy. We appreciated having the internet and wireless available. The location was great, right in the heart of the city center. The only drawback was the noise. We kept our windows open because it was warm, rather than use the air conditioning. The noise late at night from the other apartments was significant. Bring your earplugs or shut the doors! We were met arrival and well oriented. I had private Italian lessons for a week at Istituto Italiano nearby and it was great. [In addition to the bathroom off the Strozzi bedroom there is an extra bathroom for the exclusive use of Strozzi or Prisco apartment guests down a private hall. You are likely to hear the neighbors when guests & the other building residents have their windows open, as you would anywhere in the world where there is close quarters, an adjustment for travelers who are accustomed to living in private, standalone houses. Italy Perfect]"
"Casa San Vito is fabulous, as was our entire trip (15 days). Even the weather was perfect, only turning cold the day we left. Francesco and his mother were most helpful. I will definitely recommend Casa San Vito and Casa Rossa. Your written materials were also great. We went to the MiniMart every morning for cappuccino and pastries and fell in love with Maria. One member of our group wants to move to Romita and become Maria's apprentice."
"First, let me say that I enjoyed the studio tremendously. The place was extremely well renovated. There were all the little touches to make it as comfortable as possible, its small size notwithstanding. Add the perfect, central location to the mix and you really have a winner. I did not so much as visit Florence as actually lived there almost like the locals for a week."
"The apartment was in a central location which made it very easy to get anywhere in Rome. The apartment was beautifully decorated and fully functional. The second bathroom was really small which made it a little uncomfortable for the couple who used it but all in all a very nice experience for all. The restaurants in Piazza Navona were all very good and a short 15 minutes from the apartment. Italy perfect was a great company to work with and Lisa especially was wonderful to work with throughout our entire process. I have already recommended them to several people and look forward to using them again in the future. "
"The apartment was much bigger than I had imagined, which was great. It was super hot in Rome when we arrived so it was wonderful to walk into an air-conditioned space. Our greeter was fantastic and super helpful. The location was perfect. We travelled with two children - one of whom was 3 - so being centrally located was key for us. There was a grocery store down a block or so away, and the Campo di Fiori was very close too. It was wonderful to have some food at home for the little ones. I would definitely recommend Italy Perfect (and have already done so) to friends. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating through the whole process. Two tips - Italy Perfect had recommended we bring face clothes and extra shampoo, conditioner, etc., and while I could have gotten it there, bringing it saved some hassle."
"Over Christmas, 2013, we stayed in the Prisco apartment and our adult daughter stayed across the hall in the Strozzi apartment. It was an ideal situation. We were met by the charming Miki and Franco who helped us learn about the apartment and the area. For ten days we lived as the local people do, buying our groceries, preparing our Christmas dinner and enjoying take away and local restaurants when cooking seemed too onerous. The apartments were spacious and clean. The Prisco kitchen was well equipped. The wifi worked perfectly and the location was fabulous for visiting Florence. "

"We were in Florence to be married, so needless to say, we wanted the perfect place to call home for a week. Casseta Bonsi was all we had hoped it would be and more.
The location could not have been better. We walked Florence easily from our neighborhood. The surrounding cafe's, restaurants, florist, grocery, and deli's were all fantastic. The house itself is so charming and well equipped. We both hated to leave and in fact, felt we could easily live there.....forever!
Maurizio was attentive, available, and very helpful. He and his wife were sincere in there wishes for our happiness.
We miss the church bells.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Casseta Bonsi to anyone planning a stay in Florence."

"We stayed here in 2009 and there is very little we can add to our review then. The location is excellent in two respects
1.It is in a quiet street yet only five minutes flat walk (no bridges or steps) from St Marks Square
2.The view from the flat is stupendous, not only from the main room but also from the roof terrace. Both overlook a canal junction which is usually busy with commercial traffic in the early morning and then, for the rest of the day with gondolas. There is a gondolier’s station visible from the apartment and the passing traffic presents a never ending stream of entertainment.
The flat itself is spacious and comfortable; the kitchen is a little small but is adequate. Once again the TV did not work; there was some problem with the Sky Italia connection with the satellite. This required a Sky technician to attend and this appeared to be not possible. However we managed well enough with a DVD player we had brought with us.
We visited during a heatwave and there was some form of centrally controlled air conditioning throughout the block of flats we were part of but this never seemed to work effectively. There were two fans in the flat which provided some relief but we were very glad of proper air conditioning when we moved to Florence the following week.
We ate a couple of times at our favourite restaurant – Bistrot de Venise, a short walk away in Calle dei Fabbri, and on our last night treated ourselves to expensive drinks sitting outside Florians in St Marks Square. listening to the music.
We very much enjoyed our second visit and we look forward to a third."
"From the first time we met our landlord we were impressed with accomodations. We were met at the front door, taken up the stairs, and were then briefed on every aspect of the apartment and surrounding area. Great location--nice appartment--wonderful host. We had a grand time using the apartment as our base.
Easy walk to the train station and all points of interest in Florence. We would return in a heartbeat and will recommend to our friends.
Only drawback is the 4 flights of steps to the top--be prepared but you do get used to it."
"This apartment was in an excellent location in Florence. We were extremely grateful to Miki and Franco who helped us out immeasurably with our lost luggage - which required waiting for delivery over three different days and too many phone calls. They were very very sweet, warm, comforting and had a great sense of humour - even when helping us struggle with a phone card problem. They seem to love what they do, and we were lucky to have their help.
Miki and Franco also smoothed our stay with respect to tips re travel- bus to Siena, train to Lucca - and offered lots of helpful information about restaurants. The trattoria we frequented the most was the the Antique Carrosseria which had great pizza for the kids and overall delicious meals. On the other side of the river - a great family friendly pizzeria was Dante's and the best gelato we had in Florence - on the corner , at the river, contemporary design, but can't remember the name. Also have to mention the best meal we had - truly superb - also a short walk from the apartment at Gustovino.
The apartment was certainly big enough for a family of four, the air conditioning not nearly as expensive as we thought and the building, of course, very quiet. The cafe at the ground level two doors down was excellent for your morning macchiato. We did shop for a few things nearby - but favoured a likely all to expensive fruit martket in between the two big piazzas.
All in all a great 7 days, and without Miki and Franco we would have not been able to enjoy most of it, nor see nearly as much art! Thanks again."

"We had a great time in Italy and the Villa was a treat. It was perfect home base for us and in such a beautiful area. Also, Francesco and his family are wonderful. They were so kind and helpful even when we could hardly communicate with words they were very patient as well. In fact the people throughout Italy were amazing. It was really a fun vacation and we saw as much as was humanly possible in our little time there. I think one of my favorite days though was the last day on the way home from San Gimignano when we decided to just stop by Certaldo. It wasn't in any of our travel books and yet what a great old town that really didn't seem to be so focused towards tourists. That was a wonderful way to end our Tuscan stay. And thank you for your helpful hints. The restaurants you recommended were all fantastic."

"I'd like to thank you and also Miki and Franco for the great little Michaela apartment in Florence. It was such a short hop to all the major sights."
"I stayed at the Flaminio Apartment in Rome for a week at the end of September 2014. And it was wonderful. The apartment is exactly as advertised, well maintained, comfortable and close to restaurants, metro, and many of Rome's great sites. It was clean, quiet and our greeter was there to meet us on arrival. It was like a home away from home and the welcome basket was a nice touch. Thank you for a great stay and for all the help in organising our stay in Rome. Mandy"
"I grew up in Rome, and have been back often since leaving but I can say that I discovered a new Rome during our stay at the Pasquino. This time I came with my daughter to introduce my two grandsons and my daughter-in-law to my family and my city. We walked everywhere. The location was great and our greeter, Stanislau very helpful. The apartment comfortable, clean and well equipped. Double pane windows very appreciated with the noise from the local restaurants and A/C that worked. We loved the Nespresso coffee machine that made us start the day bright and early. Campo de Fiori market was a daily stop for preparing lunch at home. Piazza Navona was great for a gelato after dinner out. I would recommend Italy Perfect and I will use it again for my next visit. Thank you, Isabella"

"Huge and airy. Clean and comfortable. Fine art pieces. Close to everything. We were able to walk everywhere, and could stop by the apartment if we just wanted a mid-day break. We had every convenience we needed, lots of room to spread out, and the largest bedroom ever! The lovely hosts were very helpful and congenial, and even left coffee, tea and wine for us. The washing machine was a big plus too. I would definitely recommend this apartment (as well as Italy Perfect) to a friend. We would love to go back and stay here again."

"My husband and I have stayed at Casetta Bonsi three times. The location is perfect. Casetta Bonsi is immaculate, convenient, lovely and just a wonderful place to stay. From Florence, we are able to take trains and buses to various locations in Italy. The host is extremely helpful and cooperative. The terrace is a real plus. Our favorite restaurants in the Oltrano section are Bordino's, La Mangiatoia (very local), I-Tarocchi. We also like Il Caminetto which is near the Duomo. For great ceramics and friendly service, I recommend A. Carnesecchi, Marino Mazierli located at Via Guicciardini, 4R in Florence. For gelato, Cantina Del Gelato at Via De Bardi, 31 is outstanding."
"Serenata ispira amore assoluto—to say that Serenata evokes a feeling of absolute love and passion seems hopelessly inadequate. Gloriously positioned on the fifth floor with the altana looking up and out, about and down creates a sense of other-worldliness—it is as if you have been allowed to trespass in another’s private realm. For the moments spent drinking in the sonorous sounds of the bells and the wonderfully fecund, almost primordial smell of the canals, both early in the morning and late into the night, there is no comparison. The apartment is beautifully appointed, and the heady sense of the exotic married with Venetian art and rich fabrics echoes the richness of the facades around it. We lived Venice; we loved Venice, and we would reclaim Serenata as our own in a heartbeat."

"My friend and I stayed for a week to visit my daughter at school. Solare was updated, charming and very clean. The welcome basket and information booklet really helped orient us after our long travel. The location was ideal because we could walk to every museum as well as the train/bus station. I did use the second bed which was a pull down and found it comfortable. Our greeter was sweet and helpful. I recommend looking in the guest book for restaurants because there are many tourist restaurants. The condo is on the 4th floor which helped us work off our daily gelato treat!"
"The Strozzi apartment was a great place to stay in Florence. Conveniently located near the train and bus stations, we found it to be a good location from which to make our daily excursions. The accommodations were comfortable and met our needs for a place to collapse after a day of touring Florence. Our hosts were quite accommodating and even arranged for our cab on the day of our departure. "
