"We found the accommodatons very nice and comfortable. The only drawback was the ice maker did not make ice very well and we Americans like our ice and it could not be purchased anywhere. [The freezer has an ice cube tray, no ice maker. - Lisa] We thought the lighting in the living room could have been better as we did a lot of reading for places to visit, etc. The bathroom was very up-to-speed. The location could not have been any better - it was close to absolutely everything and all within walking distance. The stops and restaurants were great and right at hand. Everyone was very friendly and greeter could not have been more helpful and gracious. It is hard to say what we enjoyed the most as there were so many things to enjoy, but we would have to say just the safety and location of the apartment made our trip absolutely wonderful. Thank you. We look forward to working with you again."

"Our experience with Italy Perfect was just that "perfect". The details that were provided prior to our travel were very helpful and made our trip so much more enjoyable. Thank you. We loved the apt - the size was great for the four of us and the location could not have been better. We loved the man that played the violin at the end of the street - the music came thru our open windows. The owner was a wonderful host and also left a book of recommendations. Our private tour guide of the Vatican, Anne Hogan, was wonderful and her price was less than others. This was our first experience with an apartment rental and we all decided we would do this again. I have given Italy Perfect to many of my friends. Thank you for all your help."

"We enjoyed our entire time in Italy, but we'd have to say that the time we spent at Casa San Vita in Tuscany was our favorite! The Casa is perfectly located for day trips to the amazing hill towns in the region. We loved our morning coffee on the patio with those beautiful views and eating dinner in the warm, cozy kitchen. It was a joy to come home in the evening, open the shutters and let in the views and the fresh air! Francesco and Franca were wonderful - we enjoyed our tour of the Cantina and their gifts of wine and olive oil. The little grocery store in Romita was great - they have all of the basics and were very friendly and helpful. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed Casa San Vito and we hope to return for a longer visit!"

"We really enjoyed our one week stay at the Vespucci Apartment. It was very comfortable and clean. The owner and her husband were extremely accommodating for late check in and very helpful with any questions we had. We chose the location to be by my daughter who was living around the corner so it was very convenient. It's not in the center of town so you have to walk, which we didn't mind, and we took a cab late at night when we were tired. It's just a short walk along the river to the Ponte Vecchio and a 15 minute walk to the center of town. It's a quiet location too for sleeping with your windows open at night. The neighborhood seemed extremely safe, the embassies are right up the street so the police are always around there. There's a coffee shop right across the street too."

"We absolutely LOVED our stay. The accommodations were amazing and beautiful. I would always suggest going to the large cities first because after you visit the smaller towns you don’t want to go back to the large cities! I can’t add to any of the restaurants, [the list of recommendations] was amazing. The location was fabulous and could not have asked for a better location. It was absolutely breathtaking. I would suggest letting people know that they can buy more wine and olive oil from Francesco and his family. We were too late the day we left and I would have loved to have bought more olive oil. It was the best I have ever had. I would suggest they keep some on hand at the house to sell. That is my only suggestion though. Everything was lovely and he and his mother were so kind and thoughtful. They were amazing with my children and very friendly. Thank you for an amazing experience! "The Renata apartment we both loved everything about it. It exceeded our expectations and was so very comfortable and beautiful. Location was great because we used the Spanish Steps Metro [subway] to go everywhere. There was some noise, but the back bedroom was very quiet. Kitchen was great, as well as the bathrooms and the beds were extremely comfortable. It's probably the best vacation apartment rental that we've ever had. The ownerwas wonderful, although I didn't get to meet her, my husband did. The housekeeper who came by each day to do some light housekeeping was delightful. She didn't speak too much English, but my husband spoke a tiny bit of Italian, so that worked well. All in all, I would recommend this apartment highly. I could live there..... in my dreams :)"

"We had the opportunity to stay at the Strozzi last month. What a wonderful apartment in a wonderful location. I can't think of a single thing that I would change about the accommodations. The restaurant suggestions by Italy Perfect were very helpful, I would recommend you try any of those on the list. We were never disappointed. The service at the Strozzi was excellent, very professional and very helpful. What a fantastic stay in Florence!"

"We throughly enjoyed our stay in Rome. The location was very close to the Spanish Steps which made it an easy landmark to find (especially for the directionally challenged Lori). Now for the apartment, a lovely renovation that keep to the character of the building. It was so welcoming at the end of a busy day of shopping and touring to sit with a glass of wine and review the events of the day. It was very clean, well stocked, safe, close to grocery store and with lovely high ceilings. Lori"

"The Vespucci, without a doubt, was as close to perfect as any vacation home I've rented in North America or Europe in the past 20 years.First, the location. The apartment is in a block from the Arno River, situated between the American Embassy a few blocks away on one side and a large park area a few blocks the other way. As a result of the limited street access to the area, it is virtually traffic free.I don't think I ever had to dodge a Vespa like one does elsewhere in Firenze! It was very quiet, day and night, so was easy for the light sleepers in the family to have a good rest. The apartment is on the 4th floor, so you are above the neighboring buildings with lots of air and light. One side fronts the street, the other an inner court yard.Screens on the windows let in fresh air on our warm days without any bugs joining us.The apartment itself is a delight. Two bedrooms, two baths, fully equipped kitchen, inviting living room. The beds are very comfortable (too hard or too squishy beds being one of my pet peeves in vacation rentals) with good bedding and several pillow options. Bedside lighting was perfect for reading at night. The bathrooms were modern and spotless. Hot water on demand so no wimpy morning showers.Towels were large and soft, with two per person. The living room/dining room area had good lighting, nice furniture. The TV had Italian channels; who needs to hear the bad news on the English CNN while you are on vacation! The DVD player worked with our daughter's North American dvds from home. The kitchen was fully, and I do mean fully, equipped for a family.Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, utensils. The fridge and freezer is huge by European standards, and there's even a dishwasher. The washing machine worked fine, as did hanging the wet laundry to dry in the little 'bonus' room at the end of the hallway. Also used this area for storing our luggage and all the goodies we bought while in Italy. The owners are absolutely delightful. Taking us in with virtually no advance notice because of a problem with a different property, they really saved our three weeks vacation in Firenze. They were very helpful, answering any and all questions. When we had an internet connectivity issue on our first day, they immediately remedied the problem. The apartment came well stocked with maps, information and travel books provided by the owner. We had great fun, our last evening, having snacks and wine with them discussing our time in Italy and their hopes to get to Alaska for a visit. Wonderful people with a wonderful property."

"Italy Perfect made planning our trip to Italy much easier! I always got prompt answers to questions, the info sent to us was very helpful and both accommodations worked out great for us! We also stayed in a pensione, a 5 star hotel and a 2 star hotel in various Italian cities. By far our favorite places to stay were the two apts. we rented ; the Strozzi in Florence and the Via Veneto in Rome.Having quiet, peaceful, but pretty, places to stay where we could spread out and relax after long days of walking, eating and sightseeing was great. Having windows you could open at night was wonderful for me. The washer in both places cut down on clothes we needed to bring (leaving much more room in our suitcases for gifts we brought back).I read the other reviews and went to several places they recommended. Our recommendations in Florence include: For dinner: Trattoria Sostanza, Via del Porcellana 25/r, 39-055-212-691. Reservations needed- order the chicken, beef and artichoke omelet. Also Trattoria 4 Leoni, Via del Vellutini 1/r, Piazza della Passera, 39-055-218-562, reservations recommended. Order the gnocchi. Find Grom for gelato and anywhere in Florence for the best cappuccino in the world!"

Casa San Vito

Casa San Vito

"We found the location of Casa San Vito perfect for exploring Tuscany and beyond. The house was just as described, and Francesco and his family were very welcoming. It was very nice to come back to the peace and quiet of the villa after a day of sightseeing, yet we had wonderful access to the major roads for daytrips. We enjoyed going for walks right from the villa's door, which offered more of the amazing views also available in every direction from the villa itself. The villa was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We had no problem with the size of the refrigerator, and as we traveled with 2 small children, we certainly made use of it. The warm pastries at the mini-market in Romita are not to be missed."

Landini

Landini

"The Landini is a wonderfully sized apartment for family and friends. It has a roof top terrace which can be enjoyed when the weather is fine. The building in which it is situated was built in the 1500s. There are grander palazzi in Rome but the neighborhood (Ghetto) and the fountain outside are stunning. The kitchen is set up with just the right equipment. The nearby deli, Antico Forno, is just wonderful, and the nameless bakery with the ricotta torts was delightful. I like to market at Campo dei Fiori and have a capucino at the Bar Farnese. This year we discovered Ar Galleto at Piazza Farnese as well as the Bar Campoleschi. The Isola Tibertina has a wonderful restaurant, Sora Lella. Mostly we were happy to take lunch out in the neighborhood and stay in during the evenings after a passegiata. My two wishes: that the satellite TV were accessible and that the maid would come while we were out of the apartment during the day. Otherwise, I plan to rent either Landini or its neighbor Fontana in future visits."

"The Valentina apartment is spacious and elegant. The owner lives in the same apartment complex so she's close by if you have any questions or concerns. Location was central to the sites we visited (Vatican Museum, Pantheon, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain) and it was nice to have the metro only a few blocks away. Rome is an amazing city. The history, the architecture, the art, the food, the people are fabulous. We hope to return for a longer stay and venture out to other parts of Italy as well. I highly recommend Italy Perfect."

Renata

Renata

"This is a fabulous apartment in an even more fabulous location. Lots of room for family. For adults with small children, the master bedroom is located a bit far from other two bedrooms. The Renata apartment would be better suited for older children. Our two girls loved having their own wing (ages 13 & 10). We did not have a bad meal in any of the local restaurants. The location was very central to all attractions. This was one of our favorite vacations. I have told everyone how pleased we were with Italy Perfect. We only had housekeeping one day, was expecting it during the week days, but it really didn't make any difference to us. Just might want to confirm this if it is important to you."

"The Michaela apartment was perfect for our needs. The compact kitchen is fully equipped and I enjoyed cooking many meals with the wonderful ingredients purchased at the Mercato Centrale...be sure to taste the abundant samples at Perini! The bathroom is spacious and immaculate, the bed is very comfortable. The computer room felt like an extension of the apartment, an added bonus. Most importantly Miki and Franco are wonderful hosts. They welcomed us warmly, took pride in giving us a tour, and showed us how things work. We loved the neighborhood and walked everywhere. A favorite restaurant is La Spada, very reasonable especially for take out. The info packet from Italy Perfect was very comprehensive and helpful. We have rented from Paris Perfect also and our future European travel plans will always include one of your excellent apartments. Thank you."

"Dear Pat,I just wanted to send you a little note to tell you about our fabulous trip to Rome. It was much more than I expected . I can not wait to return and spend more time exploring. First, the apartment was perfect for us. Our hostess was is lovely and couldn't have been nicer. I felt very comfortable and at home in the apartment. It is very well equipped, even though I didn't cook it was nice to have breakfast and it was fun going to the market and experiencing the Roman way of life. Loved the area. I feel very confident in referring your services to friends. We were a little apprehensive renting, but after such a wonderful experience I really feel it is the perfect way to spend a holiday with family. You obviously have great taste and I will be in touch with you for future rentals. Maybe, Paris next year. Thank you again. Anne Marie"

Bellina

Bellina

"We rented the Bellina apartment on very short notice after another accomodation fell through. We especially appreciate Lisa's help: she not only knows the properties, but also the location. We stayed 8 nights over the new year and found the the apartment extremely comfortable: great sofas for reading, comfortable bed and good linens. The decor was far better than so many of the tacky, Rome apartments. Only two drawbacks of the apartment itself. First, the kitchen could have been better stocked: a better skillet and larger pot for pasta, a juice squeezer, etc. We like to cook and the butchers on the street, the green grocers, the fresh pasta from the charming shop on Via de Greci and a good enoteca on Via di Ripetta make this an ideal spot for easy, good and inexpensive meals. The location, while not my first choice, ended up to be quite nice. We liked the street, and being close to Piazza Popolo, especially to take it in early in the mornings or late at night. Just a 20 minute walk to Piazza Navona or Campo de' Fiori; great access to the metro. We didn't eat out a lot in this neighborhood, but did have a fun Sunday brunch at Babette's (the French/Italian restaurant) between Via Babuino and Margutta just one block from Popolo. A word of caution, V. del Corso and Babuino are packed with shoppers, and this can get tiresome, but there are plenty of small streets in this area that are fun to explore. (Or, consider being there in January: the sales--soldi--are spectacular.) We definitely plan on using Italy Perfect again, even if we choose another apartment, or--perhaps--for another city. Again, thank you, Lisa, for all your help."
