"This is a beautiful and comfortable apartment with private bedrooms and large living spaces. The separate bathrooms are large and furnished with bathtubs that have upright showering capability (which is sometimes an issue with apartments in Italy). The location is very quiet, and central to one of my favorite areas of Rome. Easy access up the hill to the park allows a great get-away from the very busy weekend crowds in this area. Request that your taxi/driver drop you at the front of the building if you have luggage. We had several taxis that wanted to let us out at the corner when they saw the one-way sign rather then circle the block and access from the other direction. Recommended improvements would include a moka pot for espresso and a stove that had all four burners working. The small 'dorm size' refrigerator would be a challenge with several days of groceries. Two significant problems that occurred were resolved equitably."

Serenata

Serenata

"Time flies and I have been very remiss in not writing earlier to say how much Liz and I enjoyed our holiday on Serenata a month ago. It was everything that your brochure said it was, and some more so. It was hard to fault it - except perhaps the lack of basic kitchen equipment such as scales, measuring jugs, etc.. We especially enjoyed the roof terrace and spent a lot of time there looking down on the gondoliers, etc on the pathway below. [I’ll mention the lack of a scale and measuring jugs to the owner; I know she cooks when she is in Venice. I’ve seen Italians cook, they do it all by estimate amd measures at hand, so maybe that’s why those items are missing. My Italian-Italian cook book doesn’t use precise measurements: big spoon, little spoon, a glass-full or a small cup, a fist. a thumb... pb]"

"The location and apartment itself couldn't have been better. The 3 of us were quite comfortable, and the second bathroom down the hall was very handy. We appreciated having the internet and wireless available. The location was great, right in the heart of the city center. The only drawback was the noise. We kept our windows open because it was warm, rather than use the air conditioning. The noise late at night from the other apartments was significant. Bring your earplugs or shut the doors! We were met arrival and well oriented. I had private Italian lessons for a week at Istituto Italiano nearby and it was great. [In addition to the bathroom off the Strozzi bedroom there is an extra bathroom for the exclusive use of Strozzi or Prisco apartment guests down a private hall. You are likely to hear the neighbors when guests & the other building residents have their windows open, as you would anywhere in the world where there is close quarters, an adjustment for travelers who are accustomed to living in private, standalone houses. Casa San Vito

Casa San Vito

"Casa San Vito was beautiful, nestled in very scenic surroundings. Only 5 minutes from the highway, we were able to travel to all the nearby areas (after we figured out the road signs). The webpage doesn't do it justice; the villa was much nicer in person. The rooms were large and clean, the villa was nicely decorated with antique furniture, and the host was very friendly and helpful. The view was outstanding!!"

"Vespucci Apartment was terrific. The apartment was very clean. It had everything you needed for short or long stays. Cindy, the host, was super nice and helpful. The location was great if you don't mind walking to major attractions. Less noise and traffic than in the center of Florence. Food, produce, wine and cafe within walking distance. Would highly recommend and would stay there again."

"The Tesoro apartment in Florence was more than we imagined. We fell in love with it within the first day. It was beautifully appointed, very clean, organized, and well maintained. The location was wonderful. Close enough to heavy tourist areas but tucked away so that we had a private oasis. Also, our hostess, Elizabetta, was extremely kind and thoughtful, leaving us coffee, wine, snacks and other goodies in the kitchen. We rented from three different companies on our three-city tour, and in hindsight I wish we'd rented them all from Italy Perfect. The level of service was excellent overall."

S Croce Mimi

"We had an extended visit to Florence in 2009 and stayed at apartment Mimi. It is perfect for two people. A very comfortable home away from home with a charming ambiance and lots of character. The north facing terrace is a luxury in Florence and made all the difference to our stay. We regularly ate breakfast or dinner on the terrace which looks out to Fiesole and is dominated by the striking facade of Santa Croce. Mimi is well located and within walking distance to Florence's many treasures. The small functional kitchen was well used. Shopping at the local supermarkets, butcher in Via dei neri and nearby fresh food markets made the stay even more special. If we didn't feel like eating in there were a number of excellent restaurants and wine bars nearby. The locals we met in the restaurants and local shops were very friendly. The staff at Palazzo Santa Croce were very helpful and also very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will return.” We look forward to your return trip in 2011! IP"

Spagna

"We loved this elegant apt. we had out our boys ages 12 and 14. It was very pretty, spacious and light filled. The beautiful garden terrace was a lovely spot for breakfast or a glass of wine. Our neighborhood was a short street located between an elegant street of boutiques and cafes and a more funky street of stand up eateries and nike and other athletic stores which the kids loved. of course beautiful old churches were everywhere. the street ended at Piazza Spagna which is a stunning Piazza with several lovely cafes for people watching. I loved this area because it was not terribly touristy and you had the feeling that locals lived there. Not far is the Spanish Steps which is very crowded and touristy so one can appreciate the difference. The apt has three lovely bedrooms. One queen for me and my husband, one single for my 14 yr old and my 12 yr old took the twin. The air conditioning worked great and the extra charge was minimal. There was no noise from the street. The wifi worked great on our Mac. Christina met us and quickly showed us around and we had no trouble with keys or appliances. we cooked in a few nights and ate on the terrace. There is a small butcher two streets down where we picked up terrific tenderloins. We also fixed eggs in the morning. However, on the more elegant street there is a lovely cafe- Don Quioxte where you can get coffee and light breakfast also. We didn't watch much tv- just one small one in the living room.So if you need a big TV or dvd this is not for you! The building was very quiet as i think most were gone for the summer. It felt very safe and the main gate was always locked. It was very easy to get taxis from eiither of the adjoining streets or just down the road at the Piazza. I would definitely go back!"

Landini

"The apartment is perfectly located in the centro storico of rome. It's close to everything, but is on a small, quiet piazza. The apartment is well-appointed and maintained with three relatively equal bedrooms and baths that can each accommodate two adults. The dining and living areas are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen, while small, is ample enough to prepare dinner for a group, and the roof terrace is glorious -- looks just like the picture on the web. The AC system was quiet and worked well. Pat (Italy Perfect) was very helpful with logistics and details about the rental. For our group, a five-star experience and a much better value than hotel accommodations for six. We'd have liked a bit of shade (table umbrella or trellis) on the roof and a larger table and chair group. For those who really like to cook, some additional equipment in the kitchen would've been nice, but the things needed most ar there. We would certainly rent the apartment, and work with Italy Perfect again."

"This apartment was in an excellent location in Florence. We were extremely grateful to Miki and Franco who helped us out immeasurably with our lost luggage - which required waiting for delivery over three different days and too many phone calls. They were very very sweet, warm, comforting and had a great sense of humour - even when helping us struggle with a phone card problem. They seem to love what they do, and we were lucky to have their help. Miki and Franco also smoothed our stay with respect to tips re travel- bus to Siena, train to Lucca - and offered lots of helpful information about restaurants. The trattoria we frequented the most was the the Antique Carrosseria which had great pizza for the kids and overall delicious meals. On the other side of the river - a great family friendly pizzeria was Dante's and the best gelato we had in Florence - on the corner , at the river, contemporary design, but can't remember the name. Also have to mention the best meal we had - truly superb - also a short walk from the apartment at Gustovino. The apartment was certainly big enough for a family of four, the air conditioning not nearly as expensive as we thought and the building, of course, very quiet. The cafe at the ground level two doors down was excellent for your morning macchiato. We did shop for a few things nearby - but favoured a likely all to expensive fruit martket in between the two big piazzas. All in all a great 7 days, and without Miki and Franco we would have not been able to enjoy most of it, nor see nearly as much art! Thanks again."

"We are now back from Rome and I just wanted to tell you how pleased we were with the Renata apartment.  What a great location, and it was so charming; really everything we could have hoped for.  We appreciated being able to check in early, and Paul [the greeter] was very helpful in answering our questions.  We also used Stephano [recommended driver] for the ride back to the airport and he was punctual and gracious.  Many thanks; this was great end to our vacation, and you can be sure we will recommend you heartily."

"Lovely, roomy apartment; AIR CONDITIONED!! Great location. Walking distance to major attractions and restaurants. Accessible to taxi stand. We were 4 adults and two teenagers; plenty of space for all. Internet access. Quiet area. Great pastries in the kosher bakery around the corner."

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed the first leg of our Italian vacation in Rome. Our beautiful apartment, Valentina, was exceptionally situated in an exciting part of the city. The metro was easily accessable as were many cafes. We enjoyed watching the people, shopping and becoming part of the fabric of the Piazza de Spagna neighborhood. My personal favorite was coming home in the hot afternoon from touring to recover for the evening. At dusk almost every evening, a sole violinest played on the street corner below. His melodies wafted through the buildings making their way to my window above. I sat enjoying the scene below and was transported to another time. Valantina was a well appointed, comfortable place to come home to. We look forward to visiting again and returning to these wonderful accomdations."

"Feedback for Landini apartment week of June 20-26th 2009 The accommodations were spacious, clean and bright. The kitchen, while small, was very practical and had the required kitchen utensils for use. However, some of the furnishings and the decorations in the apartment did not meet our expectations – they were basic and older. The drapes were not complementary to color scheme in the living room and provided for a bland atmosphere. The TV could be updated for use by future guests with children. Also a stereo to play CDs would of added some warmth to the apartment. It was useful and beneficial to us to have Internet access. Thanks. The apartment was central and within easy walking distance of all areas of interest. We did not use the patio, although it was one of the reasons we chose the apartment. The patio could be more inviting, with cleaner furniture/umbrella and some plants.  Many seagulls fly overhead so you can imagine what is all over the patio furniture. The three bathrooms was a plus.Although the apartment was clean, the hallways were less so. Immediately in front of the door there were dusty, broken chairs and a table. A privacy pull down blind for the small bathroom window could be considered. Excellent location and great, interesting surrounding area. Close to a taxi stand. The hop on hop-off bus is a good way to visit and stops nearby the apartment. Villa Borghese is a must-see museum, reservations are needed. Italy Perfect service was great. The information you provided was great we will consider Paris Perfect for our next trip. Thanks and Ciao!   However, some of the furnishings and the decorations in the apartment did not meet our expectations – they were basic and older. "Apartment was very spacious. Endearing decor of antiques. Beautiful view of the Santa Croce church. We were apparently there during a Florence holiday so the square was obscured by an arena and stands that were set up for the performance. It would have been nice to know that in advance as we had planned a country trip that day and had to miss the performance and festivities. Master shower head needs to be changed and then the shower would be great. All and all a nice apartment."

"The Strozzi apartment was a great place to stay in Florence. Conveniently located near the train and bus stations, we found it to be a good location from which to make our daily excursions. The accommodations were comfortable and met our needs for a place to collapse after a day of touring Florence. Our hosts were quite accommodating and even arranged for our cab on the day of our departure."

"The apartment was stunningly beautiful and we showed it to all our fellow students [guest was taking a 3-week art class in Florence] who were so impressed with standard of artistic decoration as well as the level of comfort and the convenience of it. When I return to Florence with my husband I will certainly be asking you if I may book it again."

"My husband & I recently enjoyed a 6 night stay at the Bellina Apartment which has a very convenient & central location. We found it spacious for 2 people & thoughtfully set up. The internet access & use of a local mobile phone were very useful. 2 minor drawbacks were the very firm mattress & the lack of a full size ironing board when like us you are travelling for 3 weeks. Our favourite local resaurant was Palathium(from our Italy Perfect reccomendations)& we went there twice. The Italy Perfect service was very good & our greeter very helpful & pleasant."

"Our stay at Vespucci was wonderful. The owners were wonderful and the location of the apartment is perfect - quiet however close to the central area. The owners supplied our every need. The only slight negative is we could hear the family, including children, in the upstairs apartment. This did not impact our vacation in any way, but important to mention.Regards,Barbara Ross-Denroche [There can be some noise from upstairs when the 4yr old twin boys return from school. They go to bed very early, so it doesn't interfere with our guests' sleep.]"
