"My wife Katie and I had the good fortune to stay at the Tesoro apartment, Santa Croce, Florence. We would both like to extend our thanks to you and your staff on making this our first trip to Italy so memorable. The apartment was everything and more that the photographs promised it would be and we cannot recommend it highly enough to anybody who might be considering a similar trip. In particular we would like to express our thanks to Elisabetta who went out of her way to assist us on our arrival."

"I just wanted to follow up and tell you what an amazing visit we had in Florence and how much we enjoyed staying in the Strozzi apartment. Miki and Franco were wonderful and helpful hosts. What a beautiful apartment and what an amazing location! It couldn't have been better. It was also a very nice convenience to have the washing machine. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were probably the best away from home I have ever slept on. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that we loved it and were not ready to leave! When we return to Florence, we will be in touch! Thanks so much. Casa San Vito

Casa San Vito

"Casa San Vito was the upper floor of a two-level building, with the lower level being for storage and possibly winemaking. It was clean, functional, reasonable value, and the lack of air conditioning wasn't a problem as it stayed cool and there was a fan. The location was quite good - a few minutes drive on a paved road from the village of Romita, and only several hundred metres in on a gravel road. The only drawback is that it wasn't designed to enable you to enjoy a view of the vineyards; there is no balcony and the ground level patio is between two adjacent villas. The service from the family and ItalyPerfect was very good.  "

"I wanted to thank you for my Italian holiday, which was indeed perfect. Casa San Vito so lived up to expectations, exactly the degree of comfort and charm that I wished for. The Pesetelli's were, of course, charming and helpful, and oh, the beauty of the countryside! To open the shutters and see that landscape each morning was blissful. You provided an exceptionally thorough and helpful orientation. Quite extraordinary in how comprehensive it was.  I hope that I will be fortunate enough to return and can require your assistance again! "We enjoyed Casa San Vito very much. The house is very comfortable and there were only a few very minor issues to dealt with (the halogen ceiling track lights are too hot for the dimmer and circuitry to handle so they sometimes burned out or went off and on. Francesco, the owner's very helpful son, tried to remedy this problem but the lighting issue has to be retooled to be effective.) The views were unbelievably beautiful. We found this house very comfortable for 4 people and there was even a small extra bedroom for one or two more guests (perhaps children.) All the furniture is fine, not fancy but very adequate. The kitchen was well enough equipped for simple meals. The bed linens were very pleasant(changed weekly)and the bathrooms are more than adequate. The house was spotless. Here are the things to be aware of: The road to the cottage is dirt and rocks so be careful with a low standing vehicle. Your undercarriage will be hit.Often. You need to be prepared to drive quite a ways to the Co-op[grocery store] in San Casciano or Tavernelle. But you will find them to be outstanding supermarkets. We loved the mini mart in nearby La Romita which met many immediate needs. Driving in Tuscany can be hair raising and their poor road signs added to our sometime frustration. A GPS is very helpful. But if you like hair pin turns on mountain roads with gorgeous views you will be in heaven. Italy Perfect was fine to deal with although they really did not give any written instructions about using the television when we wanted occasionally to get the English language news. This would be easy to amend if they chose to improve that services. There are bees and gnats on the patio bring insect repellent. Now that I have listed the problems, let me say that the cheerfulness of the owners made up for some of these deficiencies. They were a wonderful family whom we thoroughly enjoyed. "We had a lovely stay at Casa San Vito. The location proved to be very convenient to Florence, the Chianti region and Sienna. We did a fair amount of cooking at the house, and the kitchen was more than edequate, with plenty of space, cooking utensils and dishes available. The outdoor table and chairs were the perfect setting to enojoy our feasts with wine we had aquired on our daily visits to the surrounding area. One of our favorite activities was a cooking school in Florence and visiting all the various small towns and vineyards in Chianti. Although it was very warm in Italy the week we were there, the temperature at the house was considerably cooler with it's hill top location and breeze. Fans were provided for our bedrooms. Overall, we had a great week and very good experience with Italy Perfect and Casa San Vito. We would definitely use this service again."

"We enjoyed this house. It feels like out-of-nowhere, but very conveniently located between Firenze and Siena. The host was very friendly and the unit was very spacious and clean.Highly recommend for someone who would like to enjoy the country-side of Tuscany."

"The Strozzi apartment in Florence was a real highlight of our month-long trip through Europe. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. It was a short walk from the train station. But it was also a short walk to everything else in Florence. I was initially concerned that it would be noisy based on the location. But the windows open to the back of the building and it proved to the be the most comfortable and quietest of all our accomodations. In addition to a large bed in the master bedroom, there are two twin beds as part of the fold out sofa for our two children. The kitchen is a little unusual because there is a small stove and sink in a cabinet in the living room and the refrigerator is in the walk-in closet between the master bedroom and bathroom. But we ate most of our meals out and it worked well for the few meals we had at the apartment. Part of the apartment's comfort was the well functioning air conditioning. It worked quiet and effective. I would highly recommend the Strozzi apartment to anyone visiting Florence and I hope we can return soon. Brian Goncher PS we made a great search of the best gelato in Florence. There are lot of great shops to choose from, but we found Perche No! to have the best overall gelato. Have fun with your own search."

"Visiting Tuscany is always a great pleasure but having the opportunity to live in an original farmhouse such as Casa San Vito for a week made the trip to this region truly memorable. The house was charming because it was so well kept, spotless and filled with family heirlooms. One could sense immediately the pride that Francesco, Franca and Julio took in this home. Everything possible was done to make us comfortable and it was marvelous to have so much space. Our trip was enhanced by the personal touches such as gifts of wine from the family winery. The grapes were growing just outside our windows, so we knew exactly where the wine came from! Casa San Vito is central to the Chianti Road, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano and Florence. We had a wonderful time exploring the neighbourhood as well as the countryside and were rewarded with magnificent views of this amazing country. The views for the framhouse were breathtaking. Franca and Francesco were always willing to give directions and advice on where to go and what to see. Their recommendations provided us with opportunities to see and do things we would not have done on our own. We were fortunate to dine at La Tenda Rossa in Cerbaia and the food was extraordinary. A trip to Radda in Chianti and the town of San Casciano is well worth the time. July is very hot in Italy, but despite the heat, Casa San Vito remained very cool and the large windows which provided a cross draft helped to keep us cool! I would recommend Casa San Vito to anyone who wishes to see Tuscany in a very different way; like a local instead of a tourist. I hope to return again in the near future. An amazing holiday!"

"We had a FABULOUS time in Florence (despite the 95 degree heat.....yikes!) and we loved the Strozzi apartment itself as well as the location! Miki and her husband were very nice people and we enjoyed meeting them. We will be sure to spread the word about Italy Perfect and the Strozzi apartment. We loved this place! The location was fabulous, very close/within walking distance to shopping, great restaurants, tourist attractions. The king size bed was quite comfortable. During our visit Florence was in the middle of a heatwave, but we were very comfortable in the air-conditioning of this apartment. We ate at restaurants during our visit, but one could easily make small, basic meals in the kitchenette. Quiet/convenient location. Small but dependable elevator. Would not recommend this place if you're traveling with children."

"It is a lovely apartment. The photos, if anything, don't do it justice. The location simply could not be better. Close to everything."

"Casa Rossa was amazing! The views off the terrace were breathtaking. It was really nice having a home base in the most beautiful part of Tuscany to go home to every night. I highly recommend a GPS, program the address prior to arriving for places like supermarket, gas, tourism spots, etc. Also, make sure you stop by the restaurants in San Casciano. By far the best food we ate was there."

"We stayed in this apartment for six nights at the end of a fourteen night stay throughout Italy. As we were staying in hotels the freedom of the apartment was most welcome. The location within a short walking distance from the main railway station was beneficial as it allowed the opportunity to journey beyond Florence on short day excursions. The location was very convenient to most of the main city attractions and to restaurants and shopping which are just at your doorstep. The service provided on our arrival was both welcoming and informative. The free and unlimited access to the internet was without doubt a bonus. If we had any complaints it was with the cooking facilities and whilst we were warned about this on reading previous comments, we were disappointed that the facility was so limited as one of the reasons for selecting an apartment was to have the facility of eating in on occasions however this would not put us off recommending this property to others. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable end to our holiday."

"I was in Florence for a week by myself and Michaela was perfect for me. I know Florence very well and the location is within walking distance of everything and very close to the main tourist sites. The apartment itself is very quiet and private, the bathroom is clean and modern, free computer access and printing is available, and Miki and Franco couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. I would definitely return to Michaela if I were in Florence again by myself."

Villa Mare

Villa Mare

"Villa Mare was the perfect place for my family of 6. I was so happy we stayed in peaceful MassaLubrense instead of busy Sorrento. It was still close enough to Sorrento if we wanted to visit. The service was fantastic. The owners were very helpful. They were warm people who made us feel very much at home.I did not ever want to leave!!! The home itself was beautiful with wonderful views of the sea. There was a quaint harbor nearby with some very delightful restaurants. The kids loved the pool and the beach. Everything we needed was here. It was the perfect italian villa."

"We had 9 days in the Strozzi in May and this was a perfect place and location. 10mins walk from the train station and every major site in Firenze. Just above a bakery for fresh breakfast and surrounded by good restaurant choices. For those who can afford it also too close to Gucci, Fendi, Bulgari, LVT. Great apartment with enough room to spread out and make yourself at home. Wifi to keep yourelf connected and balconies to relax on. Franco and Miki met us when we arrived and that was the perfect start to our stay with some nice Santovino to welcome us. Thank you Lisa and Italy perfect for the great organisation and helpful information. Try this you can't go wrong."

Casa San Vito

Casa San Vito

"Thank you for all of your help. From Lisa at Italy Perfect (reservation and information), Francesco and his Mother (owners and hosts), location, price (2 families shared the cost), true TuscanyChianti feel, to proximity to Siena/Florence, if you want to get the feeling that you are an Italian vineyard and olive orchard owner, choose this for your next Italian getaway! You become part of it and it becomes part of you during your stay! We had a vehicle and would recommend it as a drive around the surrounding countryside visiting some of the small towns along the way is very rewarding and the trip to Siena/Florence is not that far! The driving is easy in the country compared to the need to use public transportation in Rome/Venice. You can relax at Casa San Vito, or head out for many an adventure, great food, and of course, a Gelato a day! Our weather was mid 80's w/some showers. Heat could be an issue, but wasn't for us. If you need luxury, this might not be your destination, but for a warm and accommodating location on a hillside overlooking the Chianti region seriously consider Casa San Vito!"

"We had a wonderful time on our recent trip to Florence.  The apartment (Tesoro) was great…no complaints.  There were three of us, so it was very spacious.  We loved having breakfast or a snack on the outdoor terrace, overlooking the courtyard and garden (we were blessed with fantastic weather, so we were able to take advantage of this outdoor space)…listening to the birds, and the sounds of the neighborhood.  The best thing about the apartment, in our opinion, is the location.  It is situated in a location that is within walking distance to so many sights and attractions.  If you like to walk, you can get anywhere in Florence from this location.  Also, the apartment’s owner was very gracious, warm and friendly when we met her upon our arrival and the day of our departure. We found it very easy to find our way around the city, and were able to locate convenience/grocery stores, and great restaurants in the area.  We tried to avoid anything that looked “touristy”, and that formula usually resulted in some great, authentic food with friendly service. Florence is a city that everyone should visit! "This little villa tucked off a side street and behind a locked gate was perfect for me. Very private and safe. Although not in Sorrento (a 25 minute walk away) it was in the adjoining town of Sant'Agata. Hotels and eateries very close. The hosts live next door and were very welcoming and helpful. Spacious, very clean, large rooms by Italian standards and beautiful. Easy 20 minute walk to center of Sant'Agata and market, bank, etc. if you want to buy food and cook while there. No view of the sea but its one block away and the lush, mature tropical garden surrounding the little villa more than makes up for it. Only minus is no internet and even with an aircard the tall foliage of the garden prevents a signal."

Bucine Loggetta

Bucine Loggetta

"My husband and I were in Italy to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The Bucine Loggetta exceeded our expectations. The setting was magnificent, our cottage was very comfortable, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The location was a little out of the way, but we had no difficulty getting to where we wanted to go. Our only disappointment was the weather- it was rainy and cool, so we were not able to utilize the terrace or the pool. We would recommend Italy Perfect highly."
