Absolutely lovely apartment in every way.
Only in Venice can you find such charm in such a magical location.
The Menta apartment is on the 2nd floor (3rd floor North American) of a classic Venetian palace built in 1830.
The living room comfortably seats four with two windows overlooking a quiet campo, a square. The large prints on the wall have been in the palazzo for more than 200 years.
The dining room area adjoins the living room. The sideboard is a gorgeous antique from the palazzo's collection. The modern open kitchen adjoins the dining area and features stainless counter tops, gas stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee maker.
You will be welcomed with a bottle of Bellini, the classic Venetian beverage made famous by nearby Harry's Bar. Fresh croissants will be delivered to your door each day. The kitchen is prepared for you with bottled water, fresh fruit, coffee capsules, fresh milk, sweeteners, butter, jam, sliced bread as well as salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar.
The floors are a warm-colored terrazzo, a traditional finish developed originally in Venice centuries ago.
The master bedroom has a high quality Simmons mattress, as do the other bedrooms. A canopy with a dramatic orange strip which color is picked up in colorful throw pillows. A mirrored antique armoire for clothing. Lamp and table for each side of the bed.
The en-suite master bath has a tub with hand held shower.
In the second bedroom, the two beds can be combined to form a king. The second bathroom adjoins the second bedroom. It has a nice step-in shower.
A nice large terrace is shared by this apartment and the other three in the building, Cassia (that has its own private terrace above the apartment), Menta and Zenzero. It has two wicker sofas, two armchairs and a table for 8.

|Keys||You will be handed over 2 pairs of keys. Should you loose your keys, we will have to charge 300 Euro, as 3 locks will have to be replaced. Should you have forgotten your keys in your apartment, and need to call our staff to get in after 9 pm, there will be a surcharge of 20 Euro.|
|Daily Service||In your apartment you will find all the necessary for breakfast: black tea, a nespresso machine and coffee capsules, milk, white and brown sugar and sweetener, butter, jam and sliced bread, mineral water (still and fizzy) , as well as the usual salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar. Every morning around 8am fresh croissants will be delivered to your door. These groceries are included in the rent. Any additional bottle of water will be charged 1 Euro each. Croissants cannot be delivered to your doorstep before 8am.|

Minimum price is for 3 nights.
The price includes linens, 1 set of towels/person, utilities, final cleaning, personal welcome during standard hours and free WiFi. Weekday maid service and daily delivery of croissants (except Italian holidays) and a welcome bottle of Bellini (Prosecco + peach juice) and fresh fruit.
City Hospitality tax payable in cash on arrival. See www.italyperfect.com/tax for current rates. A refundable €1000 Euros security deposit payable in cash on arrival or may be pre-authorized on a credit card. It will be returned on departure less damages, if any, and any services not already paid.
Check in is between 2:00 and 7:00pm, by appointment. The palazzo has a private dock for water taxi arrival & departure with advance arrangement. Check in from 7-11pm must be arranged in advance & pays €20 cash to greeter. Check-in after 11:00pm and check-out before 7:30 are only by special arrangement and a €50 payment to the staff.
Luggage can be left from 9am. And, from 9am until the apartment is available, you may rent a bedroom with bathroom for €100 Euros.
The owner of the property and the staff are not responsible in any way for any personal injury incurred by anyone in your party within the property or its grounds. We recommend travel insurance.
The owner is not responsible for any loss or damage to the guests’ valuables or personal items. You are encouraged not to bring valuables to the property or to use the safe.
Please report any problem or difficulty or the malfunctioning of any equipment immediately to the staff, the owner or the agency so that the issue can be resolved as quickly as possible.
Any damage to the property or its contents must be reported to a member of staff as soon as possible. Damage will be evaluated by the management and charged accordingly.
Guests must keep all windows and doors secure when away from the property.

This is our second apartment rental with your company. Our apartment in Venice was beautiful, comfortable and the accommodations were in line with a 4 star hotel. Location was centrally located for easy access getting around. The freshly baked croissants and apartment service was greatly appreciated and made a difference. Our tour guide was beyond outstanding and helped us navigate the local restaurants that can be a little tricky, tourist vs local establishments. The Menta Apartment is absolute perfection!
My husband and I recently stayed in the Menta apartment for four nights and we are happy to report that it is an absolutely lovely apartment in every way. The location is terrific as it's very near Piazza San Marco and in a very quiet area. There is one, caveat, though. The Westin Hotel is currently doing major construction and the noise and vibration can be heard in the apartment during the day. Fortunately, the workers leave around 5 pm so it is quiet in the evening. The apartment is furnished beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. The apartment is beautifully maintained. The staff, including the secretary who will make dinner reservations, and the housekeeping staff were all extremely gracious and helpful. It is lovely having warm croissants delivered to the apartment daily. It is the only place we want to stay now when I'm in Venice. We highly recommend it at the risk of not being able to reserve it in the future because it is so popular.

That is the word I use to describe my entire experience in Venice with Italy Perfect. We stayed in the Menta apartment, which is one of the most beautifully appointed apartments I have been in. From the outrageously fun decorating to the perfect expresso machine, Italy Perfect, like Paris Perfect, provides its guests with all of the amenities one could want.
The location is so central to all that is Venice. A stone's throw from St. Mark's Square, and a fun winding walk to the Rialto Bridge, Menta is in a beautiful Palazzo, with a private dock. The greeter Roy was lovely and very accessible.
I highly recommend taking a tour with Rita Satori, as Italy Perfect suggested. She gave us an entirely new perspective of Venice. My recommendation would be to get a good map of Venice and then have fun getting lost meandering the city! You will always find your way back! We really enjoyed our time in Venice thanks to Italy Perfect with only one regret - we should have stayed longer!! Thanks Lisa!!

"Italy Perfect" was just that!
My husband, another couple and I stayed at the Menta apartment while in Venice. What a beautiful place! The location was excellent -- an oasis in the midst of a popular tourist area. Maid service, daily croissants and coffee were an added plus. The hostess met us as scheduled and provided sight-seeing suggestions, restaurant recommendations and other helpful information. Staying in the Menta definitely added to the magic of Venice. All dealings with the Italy Perfect staff were prompt, efficient and reassuring. We especially appreciated being greeted at the airport and taken to the water taxi to the apartment. Otherwise, we might still been trying to figure out how to get there!

A beautiful apartment, well appointed and in an excellent location for walking around Venice Like ALL 'Perfect' apartments we have stayed in, they clean and well maintained . Our arrival by boat from Venice airport was perfect, our boat was waiting for us, the owner was there to meet us at the Menta dock and his wife were very helpful throughout our stay.

Perfect Venice experience
We couldn't recommend the apartment more highly. It is beautifully decorated, well equipped and in a brilliant central location. The service was wonderful, Elvira produced amazing croissants every morning and Christina was super efficient and very helpful with recommendations for things to see and where to eat. We loved Zucca for a delicious family meal and the challenge of navigating our way there in the dark!

Menta Apartment experience September 2017
Our one week stay at the Menta apartment was very comfortable, including beds and rooms to relax in the living room. The location is very central and within easy walking distance to key sites as well as the water transportation.
The Staff was professional and helpful. We departed our Cruise Ship at 9 AM and arrived at the apartment around 10 AM. They were cleaning the apartment and we did not expect to get in until 2 PM - the designated arrival time. However, they told us to come back at 11:30 AM and we could get into the apartment - a very nice gesture on their part.
Only a couple of suggestions for improvements come to mind:
1. The apartment is stocked with bread, butter, water, coffee, sugar, oil and vinegar. We ran out of bread and asked for it to be replenished - but it was not.
2. Our departure was 7 AM (via water taxi) and we were told to pay the staff 20 Euro in cash for opening the portal to the dock. That was a bit of a surprise to us.
3. We used the oven a couple of times and it took some time to figure out how to used it. We recommend that instructions be provided.
As for Grocery stores there are 2 stores close to the Rialto Bridge. They are a little further than the one in the directions provided, but they seem to have a larger selection. Also, the Valetta stops are conveniently close to the stores.

We are very sorry you did not see in the terms the €20 fee for having one of the staff get up early to open the door to the dock for water taxi departure before 7:30 am. The starter supply of complinentary breakfast items is to get you through the first morning or two.
