Location

The apartment is located along the Arno River in the prime location just one block from the Westin Excelsior Hotel, a 10 minute walk to upscale Via Tornabuoni and just over 5 minutes walk to the train station so exploring all of Florence is easy from this comfy home. It is situated at the corner of Lungarno Vespucci where it intersects with the Amerigo Vespucci bridge.

Exterior

The Amerigo's Vista apartment is located in a fine 19th century palazzo in the classic Florentine style. The prime location along the Arno river is lovely. There is much to explore along the streets filled with shops and cafes as you meander along the river.

Interior

The apartment has been in the same family for many generations and truly feels like a home with personal touches throughout.

The large living room, dining room and study overlook the Arno river with nice views of the Bellosguardo and Arcetri hills. Enjoy gazing out the window at the views.

The inviting living room has a non-working fireplace. The bookshelves have an interesting collection of art pieces collected over the years by the owners. 

The large dining room, with views facing the Vespucci bridge, is a nice gathering spot for meals with family and friends.

The large corner study is entered off the dining room. It has two sets of windows, both with river views. A large handsome desk and a cozy window seat as well as a trundle-style sofa bed that can be prepared as two single beds. There is a door to the office for privacy if guests are sleeping here. Good place for children to sleep.

The kitchen is in the center of the apartment. It is a true cook's kitchen, large for an Italian kitchen, with a very ample supply of dishes, utensils, pots and pans. There is plenty of countertop space for working, the farm table in the center of the room provides more workspace or a place to linger and socialize during meal preparation.

At the rear of the apartment is a large 500 square foot terrace. The terrace faces the buildings across a driveway. It is very large and pleasant to have so much outdoor space in such a central location. The patio furniture has a casual aspect. There is a new wrought iron and ceramic dining table that seats 8. The terrace has two entrances, one is through the small third bedroom or the second queen bedded room.
