You couldn't ask for a better location, everything we wanted was nearby!
One of the most characteristic neighborhoods of central Rome in a high quality, well furnished and maintained apartment.
Most famous sights in Rome are within easy walking distance. The glorious Piazza Navona is half a minute walk away. Just below is the famous Pasquino statue where, for centuries, Romans have posted political lampoons. This is one of the few remaining "Talking Statues of Rome" which history is an interesting digression.
We were right around the corner from Piazza Navona, a mile away from the Vatican and a little over a mile to the Colosseum. We walked everywhere! Plenty of restaurants and gelato shops right outside the door. The grocery store is very close and so is Campo de' Fiore.
This is a popular area so you may hear some noise from pedestrians at night if you leave windows open, typical for such a sought after, central location in Rome. But, close the new, high insulating windows and quiet reigns.
The building is one apartment wide and is accessed from Via dei Leutari. Built in the 1800s as a family`s private palazzo, it was renovated in the last century to form three apartments, one per floor. The Pasquino apartment is on the top floor for maximum light.
This most central Roman apartment is laid out wonderfully for use by vacationers. The "day" rooms, which comprise the living/dining room and kitchen, and "night" rooms are well separated by doorways so variations in guest schedules don`t disturb others.
The apartment sleeps up to six people with a master bedroom, 3 single beds in the second bedroom and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room.
The apartment was very spacious - especially for Europe - and very comfortable.
One enters the apartment into a hallway lined with historic prints. On the right is the large eat-in kitchen and the next doorway leads to a spacious and light-filled living room. The dining table seats six. A grouping of sofa and love seat are placed close to the window overlooking Piazza Pasquino. Looking down into the piazza you`ll get a snapshot of Roman life. A beautiful young Italian mamma pushing a baby stroller. Two regal Roman matrons, arm-in-arm, out for a stroll. A family on their way to a birthday dinner celebration. Lighthearted young men chatting and joking around standing in the piazza.
The living room has a TV that receives a few English language stations. There is WiFi Internet throughout the apartment. An independently controlled air conditioning system serves the living and dining room.
The Pasquino apartment was exactly as pictured. Clean, roomy, and conveniently located.
The kitchen is remarkably large for a city apartment; it has three large windows that overlook an internal courtyard. A really nice feature is the dining nook with table and chairs for four. Ideal for breakfast or for familes. The kitchen refrigerator, gas range, gas oven, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils and dishes.
The master bedroom also overlooks Piazza Pasquino. It is nicely done with golden colored fabric lined walls. The bed has a leather, padded headboard and a firm queen-sized mattress. Very pretty French antique bedside tables have reading lamps. A flat screen television is mounted facing the bed. This room has its own separately controlled air conditioner mounted high on the wall. Closets for this room are in an entry space just before you enter the bedroom.
The second bedroom is the former library and has a warm glow of wood. It can sleep three in 3 single beds. One twin bed is tucked between the cabinets and feels a bit like a ship captain`s bunk. The other twin bed is a trundle bed with a second bed that pulls out from underneath. With the third bed pulled out, the room is full, so the best position for the third bed is the living room This room has its own separately controlled air conditioner mounted high on the wall. The bedroom overlooks Via dei Leutari, a very small side street. This bedroom has very ample closet space with many cupboards and space for storage.
A vestibule with door off the master bedroom opens onto the master bathroom that has a tub, sink, toilet and bidet. The hand-held shower head in the tub can be placed in a bracket on the wall. Lots of good light from the large window.
The second bathroom has a fully enclosed shower, sink, toilet, bidet and combination washer/dryer.

Our Guest Reviews
Nice apartment in the heart of the old city
We stayed in the Pasquino apartment for the Christmas and New Year's break. The apartment was a perfect size for our family of three (married couple and our 17 year old daughter). It was very comfortable with updated bathrooms and a modern, nicely equipped kitchen. We fixed breakfast everyday and cooked some really nice dinners in the kitchen. We like the layout of the apartment as it separated the living area from the sleeping areas very effectively. The location is unbeatable with all of the major sites within walking distance. Piazza Navona is probably about 100 yards from the doorstep. Via del Governo Vecchio, right below the apartment, is a very atmospheric street that has some nice restaurants and shops along it, including a pretty good grocery store with an embedded fish market. Working with Pat at Italy Perfect was great. She was very knowledgeable, responsive, and the convenience of pre-paying in U.S. dollars was a nice perk. We used one of her recommended car services for airport transfers and the drivers were prompt and had vehicles with plenty of room for the three of us and our large checked bags. We also used a recommended guide, Carolina Vincenti, for a private tour of the Vatican Museums. Carolina was a lovely lady and an absolute wealth of knowledge. It was a splurge that was worth every Euro. Last but not least, we had a delicious Christmas dinner at Casa Bleve and enjoyed the pizzas at Emma so much we went twice. In the end, staying in the Pasquino apartment really helped to make our Rome trip memorable.
[Thank you so much for your great review! We are delighted to hear that you had a wonderful Christmas, and a memorable time in Rome. The Italy Perfect Team.]
My husband and I and our two teenage children enjoyed five nights at Pasquino at the end of our two week holiday in Italy. The apartment is in an excellent location and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go whilst in Rome. We loved being in the buzz of this neighbourhood and able to walk downstairs to have a coffee, glass of wine or a meal. Whilst the area has a lot of tourists, it did not feel like we were in a touristy area, which was great. We had a lot of great food in the local area and did a fantastic walking food tour via Eating Europe. The apartment itself is very well equipped and being in an old building, has lots of old school Italian charm, which we loved. Staying here felt like a more genuine Roman experience than being in a hotel. My only note about this apartment is that the showers are a bit temperamental. Being in such an old building the hot water took a long time to arrive and it took us quite some time to figure out how to get the temperature right in the showers. It would have been helpful to have some advice on this from our greeter. Overall I would highly recommend a stay here. We would definitely stay again.
[Thank you so much for your review, we are pleased you enjoyed staying at the Pasquino and found the location to be excellent. We will remind the greeter to explain how to set the temperature for the shower. The Italy Perfect Team]
Perfect location, very clean & well equipped.
Thank you! Perfect location, very clean & well equipped. Love the bathrooms! Matteo was very helpful. Thank you!
Awesome location, space, and greeter!!
This apartment was unbelievable!!! We walked to all the main attractions and just a short cab ride to the Coliseum. It was spacious and clean and Mateo was a fantastic greeter who took the time to explain the city and answer questions. Would highly recommend it.

The apartment was extremely well located and just perfect for our holiday.
Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, large dining and lounge, washing machine, and even a great Nespresso machine with pods provided!!!!
I would recommend this apartment and this company to everyone.

Lovely apartment in the middle of it all!
My family of 4 enjoyed the Pasquino apartment for 5 days in July 2018. We were met by a very friendly Nancy, who had to meet us later as we arrived later than expected from the car rental across town. She showed us the apartment, which is very spacious, upscale, and comfortable. Even the framed art on the walls was stylish and high quality. Brand new baths are gleaming with gorgeous tile and fixtures, though the shower in the master bath is quite narrow and water pressure is very low. The living and dining rooms have plenty of seating. The apartment building itself is nothing special, and the elevator fits two people (the norm for these old buildings of course). The apartment's location in Rome is its best asset: you can walk from here to anywhere within 20 minutes, even Trastevere, which you should absolutely visit - we had our best meals there. Apartment is directly in the center of Rome, in a safe, beautiful, and lively neighborhood. We walked to Piazza Navona each evening since it is a block away. Great pasaggiatta each evening!
Tips for future guests: the apartment is on the 3rd floor , facing a VERY busy street with bars, restaurants, shops, etc. On the weekend there was thumping music until late (2-3am?) and we had trouble staying asleep, despite double-glazed windows and using white noise machines (the windows are double-glazed and the front bedroom is actually soundproofed, but it is a loud, lively street). I would definitely stay here again and recommend enthusiastically if it did not include Friday/Saturday evening stay, unless you don't mind street noise.

Lovely Apartment in Ideal Location
Everything about my experience with Italy Perfect was exceptional. The booking and check-in processes were very smooth and well-organized. The apartment is located in Piazza di Pasquino, which is a adjacent to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. It is very nearby major thoroughfares of downtown Rome, but tucked quietly into a very quaint neighborhood of small shops and restaurants. The apartment itself was very spacious, with more than enough room for my family of 5. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the mattresses were all extremely comfortable. I would not hesitate to book this unit again.

What a terrific property! Pasquino is first of all located perfectly. It's a 20 minute walk to either the Vatican or the Coliseum. About 10 minutes to the Pantheon. Never needed cabs or public transportation. It's tucked away in a small piazza with loads of shops and restaurants. Noise was never a factor even on a Saturday night. This was our first trip to Rome and we were intrigued to find it a culture not of main boulevards but of alleys all creating a maze of restaurants and shops to explore and enjoy. Recommend Virginiae restaurant close by. The apartment itself is very spacious and well appointed. Very nice kitchen where we cooked breakfast each morning. Good small grocery very near. Matteo, our greeter, communicated promptly and was waiting for us when we arrived from the train station. This was our 2nd experience renting from Italy Perfect as we also rented an apartment from them in Florence. They are perfect to rent from - terrific, professional and complete communication from reservation to check-in. Very helpful for first time travelers to Italy. We will definitely rent from Italy Perfect and its sister companies again.

We had a fantastic time in Rome, I already miss the cappuccinos!
We loved our time in Rome! It's a magical city! The Pasquino is in a perfect location, it is so easy to walk to all of the amazing sites in Rome. The apartment was very nice, spacious and perfect for a family of 4. We loved having a fully stocked kitchen and laundry. There are plenty of good restaurants and Gelateria's close by. Walking from the Spanish Steps, by the Trevi Fountain, by the Pantheon and ending up at Piazza Navona in the evening, is a perfect way to end your day. We would certainly recommend the Italy Perfect to our friends.
The other thing we loved was our tour to Pompeii and Vesuvius - we booked a tour with Viator which was fun and very well organized.. It was my kids favorite part of our trip (that and Gelato, of course).
The owners/managers of the apartment were very prompt with all communications prior to and during our trip. The apartment was spacious, clean, in a great location, and suited all our needs perfectly. The only suggestion I have for the owners would be to provide wash cloths for washing your face/body. We are hoping to make it back to Rome, and if we ever do we would definitely consider staying here again.
[We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. To explain, washcloths are not typically found in Italy. One of the many cultural differences in Italy! We put that in the advance information we provide, but it is a lot to read;-) The Italy Perfect Team]
