You couldn't ask for a better location, everything we wanted was nearby!
One of the most characteristic neighborhoods of central Rome in a high quality, well furnished and maintained apartment.
Most famous sights in Rome are within easy walking distance. The glorious Piazza Navona is half a minute walk away. Just below is the famous Pasquino statue where, for centuries, Romans have posted political lampoons. This is one of the few remaining "Talking Statues of Rome" which history is an interesting digression.
We were right around the corner from Piazza Navona, a mile away from the Vatican and a little over a mile to the Colosseum. We walked everywhere! Plenty of restaurants and gelato shops right outside the door. The grocery store is very close and so is Campo de' Fiore.
This is a popular area so you may hear some noise from pedestrians at night if you leave windows open, typical for such a sought after, central location in Rome. But, close the new, high insulating windows and quiet reigns.
The building is one apartment wide and is accessed from Via dei Leutari. Built in the 1800s as a family`s private palazzo, it was renovated in the last century to form three apartments, one per floor. The Pasquino apartment is on the top floor for maximum light.
This most central Roman apartment is laid out wonderfully for use by vacationers. The "day" rooms, which comprise the living/dining room and kitchen, and "night" rooms are well separated by doorways so variations in guest schedules don`t disturb others.
The apartment sleeps up to six people with a master bedroom, 3 single beds in the second bedroom and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room.
The apartment was very spacious - especially for Europe - and very comfortable.
One enters the apartment into a hallway lined with historic prints. On the right is the large eat-in kitchen and the next doorway leads to a spacious and light-filled living room. The dining table seats six. A grouping of sofa and love seat are placed close to the window overlooking Piazza Pasquino. Looking down into the piazza you`ll get a snapshot of Roman life. A beautiful young Italian mamma pushing a baby stroller. Two regal Roman matrons, arm-in-arm, out for a stroll. A family on their way to a birthday dinner celebration. Lighthearted young men chatting and joking around standing in the piazza.
The living room has a TV that receives a few English language stations. There is WiFi Internet throughout the apartment. An independently controlled air conditioning system serves the living and dining room.
The Pasquino apartment was exactly as pictured. Clean, roomy, and conveniently located.
The kitchen is remarkably large for a city apartment; it has three large windows that overlook an internal courtyard. A really nice feature is the dining nook with table and chairs for four. Ideal for breakfast or for familes. The kitchen refrigerator, gas range, gas oven, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils and dishes.
The master bedroom also overlooks Piazza Pasquino. It is nicely done with golden colored fabric lined walls. The bed has a leather, padded headboard and a firm queen-sized mattress. Very pretty French antique bedside tables have reading lamps. A flat screen television is mounted facing the bed. This room has its own separately controlled air conditioner mounted high on the wall. Closets for this room are in an entry space just before you enter the bedroom.
The second bedroom is the former library and has a warm glow of wood. It can sleep three in 3 single beds. One twin bed is tucked between the cabinets and feels a bit like a ship captain`s bunk. The other twin bed is a trundle bed with a second bed that pulls out from underneath. With the third bed pulled out, the room is full, so the best position for the third bed is the living room This room has its own separately controlled air conditioner mounted high on the wall. The bedroom overlooks Via dei Leutari, a very small side street. This bedroom has very ample closet space with many cupboards and space for storage.
A vestibule with door off the master bedroom opens onto the master bathroom that has a tub, sink, toilet and bidet. The hand-held shower head in the tub can be placed in a bracket on the wall. Lots of good light from the large window.
The second bathroom has a fully enclosed shower, sink, toilet, bidet and combination washer/dryer.

Our Guest Reviews
Accommodation was ok, location is perfect.
Thanks for a great first time experience in Rome!
We were 4 people and had a lovely 4 night stay at this apartment. Cannot beat the location! We experienced unexpected rains in May, and we could rush back to the apartment, wait for rains to settle down and head out again, since it was so centrally located! Great restaurant options right down the street. Although centrally located, we did not find it too noisy. Since we were arriving late at night after a long flight, Lisa arranged an airport transfer from the airport and it went very smoothly. There is a small elevator, so luggage was not a problem. Kitchen had a Nespresso machine which we particularly enjoyed! Our greeter was also very friendly and accommodating! Thanks for a great first time experience in Rome!
We had a great visit to Rome and the Pasquino apartment was a great place to stay. We were very pleased with the accommodations. The central location was great. Would recommend it.

Mil gracias
Translation: It is a fabulous apartment surrounded by shops and restaurants, close to monuments. The cleaning is perfect, the apartment very nice and with all its amenities. I have already recommended it to my friends and if I return to Rome I would return to the same apartment without hesitation. I felt at home. Thank you

Great place for a family
This place suited our needs (2 parents and 2 young children) perfectly. It was spacious and was in a terrific location (just off Piazza di Pasquino). We could walk to almost all the attractions, and it was near a bus line for those that were farther away. The amenities were great, including an elevator, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. (There is also A/C, but we didn’t need to use it.) The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was large enough for us to cook for four most nights. The windows also have screens (a rarity in Italy), which is great. We had an issue with the heat that we emailed about and was promptly revolved the next morning. The professional management service was terrific. The only caution I would give is that part of the apartment, including the master bedroom, faces the piazza and can be loud. I would not plan to open the windows into the piazza at night as such.
Our stay in Rome was wonderful. The Pasquino apartment had everything we could have wanted. My husband loved figuring out the espresso pot and we enjoyed the Nespresso machine too. The apartment is spacious with beautiful original ceilings from the 1800s. The bathrooms were beautiful, I would love to have them at home. The windows, when open let you hear all the wonderful street sounds, so you feel like part of the neighborhood but when closed a very quiet atmosphere.
The piazza and neighborhood had wonderful restaurants and hidden gems of shops. Italy Perfect’s map of the area and the supermarket down the street was so helpful. When you go to Carrefour supermarket be sure to keep going to the back, we bought a beautiful assortment of cheese and meats to take home for a wonderful antipasto platter.
I knew from previous visits that this was going to be the best location and it was. The Campo di Fiori was so close for their open air market with great vegetables and spices. Beautiful Piazza Navona around the corner and the Pantheon less than 5 minutes. We were able to walk everywhere,
I would recommend this apartment to any of my friends, and will probably go back again.

Wonderful Stay in Rome
We had a lovely stay in Rome! The location was perfect, right by the incredible Piazza Navona. We especially loved the outdoor market just a short walk from the apartment. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and we enjoyed waking up to prepare a nice breakfast every morning before starting a day walking the city streets and seeing the sights. The streets around the apartment were filled with little wine bars and shops to stop into and we discovered a nearby restaurant, Etabli, which is a coffee shop by day and a bar/restaurant by night. Would definitely recommend to friends!

Nice apartment in the heart of the old city
We stayed in the Pasquino apartment for the Christmas and New Year's break. The apartment was a perfect size for our family of three (married couple and our 17 year old daughter). It was very comfortable with updated bathrooms and a modern, nicely equipped kitchen. We fixed breakfast everyday and cooked some really nice dinners in the kitchen. We like the layout of the apartment as it separated the living area from the sleeping areas very effectively. The location is unbeatable with all of the major sites within walking distance. Piazza Navona is probably about 100 yards from the doorstep. Via del Governo Vecchio, right below the apartment, is a very atmospheric street that has some nice restaurants and shops along it, including a pretty good grocery store with an embedded fish market. Working with Pat at Italy Perfect was great. She was very knowledgeable, responsive, and the convenience of pre-paying in U.S. dollars was a nice perk. We used one of her recommended car services for airport transfers and the drivers were prompt and had vehicles with plenty of room for the three of us and our large checked bags. We also used a recommended guide, Carolina Vincenti, for a private tour of the Vatican Museums. Carolina was a lovely lady and an absolute wealth of knowledge. It was a splurge that was worth every Euro. Last but not least, we had a delicious Christmas dinner at Casa Bleve and enjoyed the pizzas at Emma so much we went twice. In the end, staying in the Pasquino apartment really helped to make our Rome trip memorable.

My husband and I and our two teenage children enjoyed five nights at Pasquino at the end of our two week holiday in Italy. The apartment is in an excellent location and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go whilst in Rome. We loved being in the buzz of this neighbourhood and able to walk downstairs to have a coffee, glass of wine or a meal. Whilst the area has a lot of tourists, it did not feel like we were in a touristy area, which was great. We had a lot of great food in the local area and did a fantastic walking food tour via Eating Europe. The apartment itself is very well equipped and being in an old building, has lots of old school Italian charm, which we loved. Staying here felt like a more genuine Roman experience than being in a hotel. My only note about this apartment is that the showers are a bit temperamental. Being in such an old building the hot water took a long time to arrive and it took us quite some time to figure out how to get the temperature right in the showers. It would have been helpful to have some advice on this from our greeter. Overall I would highly recommend a stay here. We would definitely stay again.
[Thank you so much for your review, we are pleased you enjoyed staying at the Pasquino and found the location to be excellent. We will remind the greeter to explain how to set the temperature for the shower. The Italy Perfect Team]
