"Our apartment was very comfortable, quiet, clean, and well equipped. It was located in a historic palazzo turned into apartments on the Piazza Santa Croce. Our interests were in history, art, and architecture so the location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere and even manage one of our party in a wheelchair. There is a "super" market a few blocks away for anything from staples to fine wine. We ate well everyday in a restaurant near our morning excursions, so all over the historic area. Food was great everywhere. Our travel companions are world-class consumers of gelato and give world-class honors to the small gelateria around the corner, facing the convent associated with Santa Croce. The folks at Italy Perfect were very helpful. And, yes, I would certainly seek them out again and recommend them to friends."

"We had a wonderful family vacation in Rome this summer! Our week at the Zegno Apartment was perfect. Edgard is a kind and helpful Houseman. The accomodations were luxurious, clean, and comfortable and provided an "at home" experience after long days of touring the beautiful city. The location is ideal as it is near the Spanish Steps, with grocery and taxi stands available only a short walk away. The building is very secure which added to our sense of safety as a family. We would definitely recommend the Zegno and Pat with Italy Perfect. She was a wonderful resource as we planned our journey! Thanks so much Italy Perfect for a memorable family adventure in Rome! [Thank you so much. The Italy Perfect Team]"

"We recently stayed at Borgo. Our family of 4 was in Beco and my mother stayed in Tiglio. Borgo is an extraordinary destination, and the apartments there are beautiful. They are located in a historic farmhouse on the estate, and are a lovely combination of old Tuscan feel and modern comforts. Our apartment was very comfortable, with a great kitchen and living areas. We were there in June and even though the weather had been very hot in Rome and Venice, it was so pleasant in the hills at Borgo, and we were amazed to be able to sleep with windows open at night. The estate has stunning views with olive orchards, woods and gardens. When combined with the views of the surrounding landscape – cypress trees, ancient hilltop towns and Monte Amiata in the distance – you feel as if you are in a movie. The staff at Borgo is gracious and welcoming, the food is wonderful, and the garden tour should not be missed. Finally, its location is perfect for day trips to any number of beautiful towns. We highly recommend Borgo for an unforgettable trip."

"My friend and I spent a relaxing week in the San Croce Mimi penthouse, a furnished and well-maintained apartment at the edge of the historic district. Comfortable, spacious and with all the modern conveniences - elevator, microwave, TV with English news, air conditioning and a mobile phone to rent - we enjoyed every minute. The large patio overlooks famous San Croce Piazza, and arguably the most beautiful church in Florence. Steps away from shops, cafes and a tourist center, the apartment is still quiet inside its thick walls. Tips for future guests: bring mosquito repellant. The gardener services the plants on the gorgeous patio every other day; when he does, mosquitoes enter the apartment. Otherwise, gracious accommodations, fine service from our Italy Perfect agent and good value made for a lovely vacation."

"Our time at Bucine Poggio was truly wonderful! I can’t thank you enough. Bucine was the highlight of the whole trip. Our little village, the castle, vineyards, olive trees, wild boar, deer, ruins, and more. The owners are a lovely, lovely family and made the time there truly special— from the private cooking class, dinner at the castle with Maria and Antonella, the wine tour and private tasting, plus fabulous swimming pool and storybook scenery… Italy Perfect is perfecto!"

"This apartment is exactly as advertised. It is beautiful, spacious and in a great location. My family and I (there were 7 of us, including 3 children and my in-laws) had plenty of room and privacy after spending hours walking the beautiful and historic streets of Rome. The apartment is in a nice, quiet neighborhood that is close to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, subway, etc. While we walked most everywhere, we did take the subway a few times to some of the farther destinations like the ancient Rome. The greeter spoke next to no English but we communicated well enough to get by. Italy Perfect also gave us suggestions for places to eat, tour guides, car services and other necessities. Pat really helped us have the most amazing family vacation to date. I highly recommend this apartment and Italy Perfect! [It is wonderful that you found your stay amazing, Tammi. Thank you. By the way, we have a new English-speaking greeter.]"

"Prisco apartment met our expectations and more. It was an excellent choice for my wife and I. You will not be disappointed if you book this apartment.Florence is a walking city. The Prisco is located inside the historic area of Florence which allows for easy walking access to SMN Train Station, major piazzas, shopping areas and great restaurants. It's also a five minute walk to the other side of the Arno River which also has may great restaurants and shopping areas. Our hosts, Miki and Franco, are wonderful. They made us feel at home, made sure we knew everything we had to know about the apartment, and provided great shopping and restaurant suggestions. If you are looking for leather, you don't need to go to leather shops located at the piazzas, just walk a few blocks within the interior for Florence and you will find small mom and pop leather shops with exquisite leather products at half the price."

"In preparation for our first trip to Florence I was happy to learn about Italy Perfect and their rental properties. It was so easy to talk to Lisa from Italy Perfect since she is located in the states and language is not an issue. She recommended "Michaela" which turned out to be "perfect" for the three of us. The apartment is located in a very nice high-end, boutique district of Florence with great and affordable restaurants near by. The apartment building has a lift so managing our bags was not a concern. Miki and Franco, the owners of the apartment met us and assisted us if we had any questions or needed directions. The apartment is lovely and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and having two bathrooms was nice. Since the apartment is located in the city one should expect some city noise. We did not have a bad meal in Italy. That being said, we highly recommend L'Osteria di Giovanni for a great food experience."

"Our group of three academics had an ambitious goal- to see seven European cities in three weeks. Of all our apartment accommodations from London to RomeThis apartment "Strozzi" in Florence was the best. We spent four days in the lap of luxury-Well appointed, spotlessly clean, safe and located steps from the Uffizi, river Arno and the Accademia! The owners were gracious, genuine and available. Their recommendation of "La Spada" restaurant a block away was superb. Miki and Franco are the epitome of hospitality. Lisa their booking agent is a consummate professional Making your Florentine vacation a once in a life time experience you'll want to revisit time and time again!!!!"

"This apartment appears larger in person than in the pictures and has a nice open layout with a workable kitchen and a sleek modern bathroom. Of course, the main attraction is the elevated terrace with a view of the convergence of 3 canals, plus a bridge. This provided many hours of watching the gondolas, hearing their chatter and sometimes music. We ate most of our meals out there enjoying this Venetian parade. It also looks across at a lovely building with a flowered balcony and an angel stature embedded in it's wall. It's just a few minutes walk to San Marco square where so much of the action is and transportation to everywhere. This is a nice building with a good elevator and just across the lane is a hotel garden restaurant where you can watch the gondolas glide by at eye level. Paula was our greeter and explained everything quite well and then led us to the grocery store just 5 min. away.I would definitely stay here again. The one and only thing I would wish for is more solid cover over the terrace to protect from the sun and rain.It can get a little too warm there in the middle of the day. [Thank you so much for your kind review. We love experiencing that timeless view and the sounds of the gondolas through your description. The Italy Perfect Team]"

"The Santa Croce Tosca is a wonderful, well-located apartment. Much more spacious than expected having traveled in Europe over the years. My guys are well over 6 feet tall, so that was an important factor. We had the beds made into one bed in each of the 2 very spacious bedrooms and they were at least as large an an American king size bed...very comfortable as well. The layout worked well and the apartment was as described and photos were accurate on the Italy Perfect website...actually even a little nicer in person. It was nice to be in a beautiful and historic building with on-site management!! We were greeted in a friendly manner by Francesca and shown around the apartment thoroughly with lots of instruction. There was a problem with the air conditioning for the first several days. Unfortunately it had been shut off at the unit in the back bedroom beside the washer/dryer. The housekeeper was called who immediately identified and corrected the problem with the push of a button. Much cooler after that! There was a very loud event in the Piazza one weekend during daytime hours (which we were out and about most of the time anyway) and some other "partying" noise at night mainly on the weekends. But you are looking directly onto a very large Piazza, so to be expected. The glass partition between the master bedroom and the windows looking onto the Piazza was a very wise decision and helps to block out much of the noise. The back bedroom is very quiet. It was really nice to be able to have the apartment as a "base of operation" so we could easily take day trips and side trips without dragging lots of luggage around and we had a "home" to come back to afterwards. There's also a little more of a feeling of being a part of things rather than going from hotel to hotel. One thing I might have changed (other than the air conditioning problem in the beginning) is the time of year we traveled (May). It was very crowded with LOTS of groups of tourists and vendors trying to sell things constantly. I think I'd choose April or October if we were to make the trip again. We loved hiking up to the Piazzale Michaelangelo and the monastery nearby (incredible views). Not so many tourists at the beautiful monastery! Consider trying Il Bussola Ristorante...our favorite! We took wonderful side trips to Anacapri (top of the Isle of Capri) and San Quirico d'Orcia, well out into the Tuscany countryside. Also a lovely day trip to Fiesole. WONDERFUL!! Pat with Italy Perfect was great to work with and very helpful! I really appreciated not being negatively surprised when we entered the apartment. It was very much as represented. Upon IP's recommendation, we worked with guide, Veronica Ranucci, who was knowledgeable and professional. I have already mentioned Italy Perfect to several friends who asked how we found an apartment in Florence. [What a great review. Thank you so much. The Italy Perfect Team]"

"We were not expecting to have such a wonderful time in Venice. We were told by a few people that after a couple days of sight seeing we would be bored. Not so. We absolutely loved the chaotic sreet grids and beautiful sights to be seen in every sestieri. We had been in Paris the week before and had done much photography but I do believe that Venice is a better place to shoot. Every Calli had a sight to photograph! Yes, the city is a bit of a tangled mess to get around but if you keep in mind that this city is to be explored and not mapped out and conquered....in other words, put your walking boots on and go with the flow. Smiles and broken Italian phrases get you everywhere in this charming city. I would stay away from the main tourist areas and try to get lost in the back areas of the city to see it at its best! [Thank you so much, we are loving Venice with you. Too right that the longer you stay the more you find to enjoy. Come again! The Italy Perfect Team]"

"The Strozzi apartment is a lovely apartment with a perfect location. Located close to Republica Square and the Duomo, this apartment is a great value. The building is historic, yet up to date with all the necessities. The greeters were warm and wonderful. Would stay here again if ever in Florence."

"Casetta Bonsi is a beautiful typical florentine house. We were very happy to have chosen this immaculate townhouse. Our hosts were wonderful people who greeted us at the property with a bottle of Chianti wine, a bowl of fruit, gelato in the freezer and three welcoming chocolates next to the bed with a handwritten note welcoming us to Florence. What a beautiful and gracious details. The house is located in the best area of Florence walking distance to everything. I would definitely recommend renting this property and if I go back to Florence will definitely be renting Casetta Bonsi again."

"Thank you for making this a most memorable trip of a lifetime. The apartment was absolutely as fabulous as the pictures. The location was great, very convenient and off the normal tourist track. It was an easy walk to St. Peter's, the Piazza de Populo, The Corso and so on. We had no problem finding a grocery and ample shopping and restaurants. We were also impressed with our promptness of our greeters and we also used Rocco for our hired ride services. We even did a day trip to Assissi which all of us would highly recommend. We will continue to book with Italy Perfect and recommend it to our friends. Arrivederci!! Mary and John"

"The whole operation was classy. We received very useful information from Italy Perfect before we left. The greeters were prompt and gave us information that was helpful in operating the appliances, trash locks etc. The location was perfect. It was about a 5 minute walk to the Duomo and 8 minutes to the train station and about 5 minutes to our favorite gellato shop. We walked everywhere and took some day trips to Luccia, Pisa and Siena. We were in Florence for 8 days. The trip was terrific and the apartment was an important part of it."

"The accommodation was clean and well appointed and was really comfortable for the two of us. Our hosts gave us a most friendly welcome, taking the time to explain the local area, the important shops, recommended restaurants and historic sites and were available to help with any questions and problems throughout. The situation of the apartment was ideal and within minutes walking distance from the main museums, grand squares and beautiful bridges and vistas of the city. This is vital for anyone who, like my wife, has an issue with energy. Also nearby we found a range of excellent ostarias and restaurants, some very reasonably priced considering the excellent quality of the food (Florentine specialty steak at La Cantinetta, etc.). Of course there is the gelaterie – plenty to choose from but the best quality is not served from the mountainous heaps of ice cream on display everywhere but from those parlours that have the ice cream in covered containers or stored “low” in open containers. The best for us was the organic ice cream in home-made waffle cones from Edoardo right near the Duomo. Also, try the ice cream from the gelataria on the corner at the south side of the ponte San. Trinita. And don’t forget the truffle rolls from the shop just around the corner from the apartment – Franco will show you where. And do go to the Boboli Gardens and see the glorious view across the city and also find the oranges and lemons growing in La Limonaia. Oh, we could go on and on. There is one sad note however. The scourge of lovelocks has hit Florence and we not only found them on the Ponte Vecchio but also on the wonderful bronze “Porcellino” statue and fountain on the end of the Mercato Nuovo. We stopped two sets of people from attaching these wretched things and reported it to the police nearby – it is against the local bylaws and there is a fine. We implore all visitors not to take part in these acts of vandalism and also to report any you see. What a strange way to show eternal love by physically locking it in and throwing the key into the river only to add to the already polluted waters of this world. You just can’t beat a beautiful bunch of flowers (and perhaps a pair of ladies shoes made in Florence!) This is the third time we have used Italy Perfect. Before we booked with them the first time we were a little concerned as we are in the UK and the company is in the US – there are lots of holiday scams around. But we had no need to worry. No one could have looked after us better than Lisa and Pat and their team. Everything was thoroughly planned and efficiently run with plenty of useful information provided and all of the necessary detail for enjoying a holiday in Italy. We have had two wonderful holidays in Venice with them and this, our first in Florence. So we are renaming “Italy Perfect” to be “Utterly Perfect”! Thank you Lisa and Pat."

"I want to thank you for making our trip to Florence a truly memorable experience. Our accommodations at the Palazzo exceeded expectations and the terrace was just an amazing place to relax, read and enjoy (with some frequency) the fine Tuscan wines. Francesca met us and gave a very a gracious welcome and gave us lots of helpful tips about the area. Thank you also for the wonderful welcome basket of Italian goodies…very thoughtful. FYI - we booked 2 day trips with Florence Limousine Service to Siena/Wine Country/San Gimignano and to Pisa and Forti Di Marmi where we had lunch at a wonderful restaurant on the Mediterranean. Francesco (our driver) was knowledgeable, prompt and made the trips most enjoyable. [Thank you so much, Mark. It was a pleasure. The Italy Perfect Team]"

"Our 6 night stay in Florence was wonderful, thanks in large part to our stay in Prisco - a clean, bright, spacious, and well-appointed apartment that was no more than a 30 minute walk to all of old-world Florence's major sites. Our lovely Italian hosts Mikki and Franco welcomed us with a helpful orientation, a bottle of chianti, and spot-on recommendations for restaurants and city sites. The 3rd floor apartment on a lovely cobblestone street had everything we needed, and everything, including the elevator, washing machine and all of the small appliances worked well. We quickly settled in as part of the neighborhood and relished the fact that we could walk the city for hours and come back to "our own place" to lunch on the cheeses, fresh fruit, bread and prosciutto that we bought at the central market earlier that day,(a must stop if you are a foody.) The size of the apartment was more than adequate for the two of us and could easily accommodate a family, (the bedroom alone at 16 x 20 was the size of many studios). With the tall windows open we could let in the sounds of the city which included the every present motor scooters and the chatter of folks strolling around. Thankfully, a sound-proofing full glass door in the small bedroom balcony window reduced most to the street noise at night. We found the Italy Perfect folks a pleasure to work with. The rental process was simple and straightforward, and we found the information they provided to help prepare us for the trip invaluable. We would highly recommend both Italy Perfect and the Prisco apartment and look forward to renting from them again when we return to Florence. Dennis & Helen"
