"This is the most perfect location I could ever hope for. Have stayed in other neighbourhoods in Florence but The Prisco property is so beautifully central nestled into the narrow winding streets with lovely independently owned shops and restaurants while still being just steps from Tornabuoni shopping, fine dining and museums. Discovered Procacci, who have been selling all things truffles since 1885 while shopping for gif5s to bring home - also offering lovely small truffle sandwiches and great wines (Tignanello by the glass!) The high ceilings, arched double windows and huge chandelier in the living room create a charming traditional atmosphere while the large kitchens was quite up to date featuring a huge, modern gas stove. But I didn’t come to Italy to cookHosts Miki and Lorenzo were very accommodating and always accessible. "We are so happy to have you stay with us, please come back again soon! "My husband and I loved Torella. It was clean, perfect location away from the crowds, great view and everything we needed for our time in Florence. We found a lot of charater in the apartment with the 360 degree view in the bedroom, to the breakfast sitting area and outdoor patio. We always looked forward to coming home and having wine on the patio.We were concerned with the bathroom being down the narrow staircase from the bedroom, but it was never an issue. Brining your luggage up and down the stairs at the beginning and end isn't easy, but it would never keep us from returning. We even enjoyed the old lift except for the one night it wasn't closed completely and we had to walk up the 5 flights. After all the food and wine, we probably needed it. Highly recommend Torella!! "The owners/managers of the apartment were very prompt with all communications prior to and during our trip. The apartment was spacious, clean, in a great location, and suited all our needs perfectly. The only suggestion I have for the owners would be to provide wash cloths for washing your face/body. We are hoping to make it back to Rome, and if we ever do we would definitely consider staying here again.[We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. To explain, washcloths are not typically found in Italy. One of the many cultural differences in Italy! "This was the perfect spot for our visit to Florence with our 20-something son. My husband and I enjoyed the privacy of the upstairs master bedroom and our son found the pull-out couch in the living room worked just fine for him. Every little touch is thought of in this small house. The kitchen was fully equipped with a dishwasher too. Maurizio met us when we arrived and gave us a very full orientation to the place. He also thoughtfully arranged a cab for us, the day we left. There were many personal touches -- we arrived to find a bowl of fresh fruit, a bottle of wine and Italian cookies to welcome us. This little place is a short walk from everything that we wanted to see in Florence and has a grocery store and various restaurants just 5 minutes away. Maurizio left us a very helpful list of good reasonably-priced restaurants in the area, which we used. We would happily stay here again!"

"This apartment is on the outer edge of the tourist area but only a few blocks from everything. For someone who wants to have some of their meals in the apartment it is ideal. It is only about 7 short blocks from a terrific outdoor market for fruits, vegetables, cheese, bread, meat, etc. There is an outdoor terrace overlooking the piazza which is fabulous. We ate more than half our meals there. It is a 15 minute or less walk to any attraction. The only downside to the apartment at all is that there are steps up or down between the rooms which you have to pay attention to, especially at night. "We just spent 10 days in Florence at the Torella apartment. The location was great, right on the other side of the Arno, quiet, but very close to the Ponte Vechhio, Pitti Palace, and short walk to the Duomo. The apartment is very close to grocery shopping and restaurants. We have been to Florence many times, and this time explored more on our own, and stayed away from very touristy areas. One restaurant we loved was Signorvino right across the street. They have outdoor seating right on the Arno, and great food and wine. The apartment is small, but makes efficient use of the space. The large bed is very comfortable, and the room has 360 degree views of the city. You can watch the rowing club practice in the morning. The outdoor terrace is wonderful; we spent many evenings enjoying wine and hors doeuvres. Note there are a limited number of electrical outlets. When using the washing machine, we would recommend using the "rapido" cycle for a quick wash. The cycles are in Italian, so you are not sure what you are selecting. The air conditioners and WIFI worked fine. Overall a 5 star experience, we can't wait to go back, and Italy Perfect is a great company to work with!!!!! "Miki and Franco are wonderful hosts - they met us at the apartment and took the time to show us how everything worked and had suggestions for us too - our first visit to Florence so we appreciated the extra information. Overall it was a great place to stay - I would suggest that guests use the air conditioner for two reasons - if window are open it can be noisy - we did not the first few days and were warm at night and the street noise crept into the apartment. Perhaps a fan would be useful but if you turn the air conditioner on it definitely cools the rooms and the street noise disappears -- so do not hesitate to do that - our mistake in waiting to do so.The linens on the bed were freshly ironed it seemed - very comfortable. We would stay again and would also look at the other apartments within Miki and Franco's space. THANK YOU Miki and Franco - they went above and beyond to make sure it was a wonderful vacation to Florence. We would recommend Italy Perfect - very helpful in all aspects. "My husband and I ended our two week trip to Italy with three days in Rome. Big cities are loud at all times of the day and night, but walking into the Princess Paolina was like taking in a deep breath, so quiet and relaxing. This apartment is modern and updated, with attention to details to make your stay pleasant. From the electric black out shades in the bedroom, to the stocked beverages in the refrigerator, we could not have been more pleased. Our greeter, Franscesco, was great!! He provided a map for us and marked his favorite places to eat! He was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. We were very pleased with the location of the apartment. Easy to get to, with nearby restaurants, and tons of shopping!! Italy Perfect was a pleasure to work with and would highly recommend them!! We would also highly recommend the Princess Paolina!! "My husband and I stayed in Florence at the Prisco for 5 days. The apartment is large and accommodating to your needs. Our hosts were very nice and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and we felt as if we were invited guests into their home. Italy Perfect gave an apt description of the apartment with some background on the owners of the apartment, which met our expectations. The location is great, which really is in the heart of Florence. The apartment is in easy walking distance of all the important sites, with plenty of restaurants and stores right in the neighborhood. We really enjoyed Café Megara, which is right outside the apartment. Great for a quick coffee, or a lite meal. We also enjoyed L'Osteria di Giovanni, which is right down the street. This is a restaurant frequented by locals, and our meal was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Florence. For the location and price, the Prisco comes highly recommended. "We were greeted by the lovely Paola who showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment and went as far as to take us to a gourmet grocery store I had heard about. The apartment and the location are absolutely fabulous! Just minutes to Piazza San Marco, the vaporetto, Rialto, food and wine. You can happily spend too much time watching the gondolas from the deck. So glad to have found it! "The location of this apartment could not have been better. It was a short stroll to everywhere we wanted to see. The apartment I would describe as faded grandeur, original shabby chic. Two very large rooms which were very comfortable for both sleeping and sitting. Although it’s noisy outside (as it is in the heart of the city where it never completely goes to sleep) the additional soundproofing around the window in the bedroom works a treat and you can barely hear anything. With the shutters closed it was light proofed too, so was a great environment for a good nights sleep. We had everything we needed for our stay in the apartment and our hosts were very friendly while being unobtrusive. "The Belvidere on Piazza Santa Croce was the perfect location for walking to all the sites of Florence. Being an apartment that was not facing the Piazza provided a quieter stay, and a lovely deck to enjoy wine, cheese and bread. Accomodations were excellent, and the facilities were very good. "Mikki and Franco met us @ the apartment check-in; lovely couple who took time to hand markup a map of Florence with the apartment location as well as giving us the walking times to all the sights. They recommended 4 local restaurants (we tried them all and all were fantastic), each of which was great (both service and food). The apartment is spacious and in a perfect location. Attention to detail in the way the apartment operation manual is laid out (pictures and hand written captions on how all the stuff works. Little details like night lights on the step up and step down from the bedroom to 1 of the 2 great bathrooms indicate a lot of thought has gone into the apartment. "This apartment is comfortable, quiet and has one of the best roof terraces I have ever enjoyed. The greeter, Paola made us feel right at home and met us a few meters from the apartment, when I could not find the correct street name. She explained everything and made sure we understood. One of the most friendly and professional people I have ever met hope , to see her again in the near future. There are excellent restaurants, shops and a good market in the neighborhood. If you want to see how gondolas are operated, spend an evening on the terrace , have some great wine and just watch gondoliers talent at work. One of the special things about Italy Perfect is all of the detailed information about venice that was provided with the booking process, it was thorough and easy to follow. The " wallet cards" included were a very special service. See you soon ! "There was a little trouble in telephoning Miki and Franco to inform them of our arrival time, but we finally made contact. Their preferred method of communication is email, but we did not have that address. The apartment was exactly as advertised on the website description and photos. Very comfortable and well-appointed. Any street noise that is distracting in the main room is thankfully nonexistent in the very well insulated bedroom. Miki and Franco are a delightful couple who were very friendly and helpful in explaining the features of the apartment and making recommendations for restaurants, shopping, etc., in the neighborhood. The apartment location is very convenient to all the sights in the historic/tourist area of Florence. We walked just about everywhere. This was our first time using Italy Perfect, and I would gladly recommend them and this apartment."

"Imagine the absolute perfect spot in Firenze. This is it. 16th century apartment with space for our entire family, close to all the action and amazing food close by. Without the fabulous owners and beautiful home, our trip would not have been even close to the success it was. Enjoy and tell them the Mertz family will be back every year or two!"

"What a great trip! You know the rule, location, location, location. The apartment was perfect. Right in the center of town, we walked everywhere. We also felt very safe at all times even late in the evening. Our accommodations were comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners were lovely and helpful. I don't travel frequently, so I was a bit anxious being in a strange city without a connection. I spoke with Lisa at Italy Perfect and knew she was a phone call away if I needed help. Italy Perfect's arrival instructions explained everything I needed to know. I was prepared and there were no surprises. Good job. I would definitely stay again."
