"The L'Albero Bello villa in Lucignano was an absolute gem, although getting to it by car from Florence was a challenge. The directions took us onto a winding gravel road that we would still be navigating if it were not for the fortuitous intervention of Elio, the groundskeeper for the villa. In the future, I would recommend giving directions that go through the church; much shorter and more direct. The villa itself was amazing, very spacious with four bedrooms and four full baths, three living room spaces and a great kitchen. Someone took a 600-year-old villa (according to Barbara) and thoroughly modernized it without detracting from the historic character of the building. Barbara was very helpful in orienting us and generally taking care of us, including a stopped-up bathtub drain. The location was great for exploring the Tuscan countryside and surrounding sites like Sienna and Pienza. Luana, the cook, was an unexpected bonus. We asked her to cook only three dinners for us and each was as good or better than anything we had in restaurants. Speaking of restaurants we would like to strongly recommend one close to the villa, Le Bindi. It is located inside the walls of Monte San Servino, so it’s tricky to find, but well worth it. There is one seating each night of 20 diners sitting around a long table. Reservations well in advance are required. A couple (she’s the chef) serves fifteen to twenty courses (we lost track) family style (yes I said 15-20!). The food could be described as nuevo Tuscan, absolutely delicious, and all for 25 euros per person! Overall, our experience could not have been better. Thank you for a great villa in Tuscany. "The Belvedere apartment in Florence far exceeded our expectations. The apartment was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. Despite being right on the Palazzo Santa Croce, with all of its bustle, the apartment was extremely quiet. The location was great and we took full advantage of your two recommendations, the wonderful little restaurant right next door and the great pastry shop across the Palazzo. It was a perfect location for exploring Florence. The four of us are in our late 70's/early 80's and this apartment was perfect for our needs. We loved it. I stayed in ZenZero for the entire sunmmer. I cannot say enough about Italy Perfect, Palazzo Treves, or my host and hostess, The Marquess and Marchesa Berlinghieri. The setting and accommodations are superlative, the housekeeping staff is meticulous, and the flats themselves are gorgeous. I have stayed at most of the world's finest hotels. If you are not satisfied with this vacation rental vendor or the Palazzo or the hosts, there is something wrong with you. "We were amazed at the size of this apartment for Florence! It is exactly as pictured and very lovely. It is close enough to walk to the train station and about a block from a grocery store. There is an ATM across the street, a bakery a few doors away and also a travel agency where you can purchase train tickets for a small fee (which was WAY more convenient that doing it at the station). It was an excellent value for the money. Our hosts met us and went over everything with us. One thing to note is that they monitor the electric and bill you for extra so you don't want to leave the air conditioning running or excess lights when you are not there. I would absolutely stay there again the next time that we visit Florence![We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay Marsha. "We shared this large apartment with another couple for a little over a week (most of it under our friend's name). The location is in a quiet and mostly residential part of Rome (see below) yet easily accessible to restaurants, transportation, and a short walk from some of the classic Roman locales. There is an NH hotel across the street. We went to a different restaurant each evening, all within a short walking distance; there are many to choose from with good reviews. We had stayed on that side of the Tevere in the past and encouraged our friends, who were unfamiliar with it. They are now sold on it. The apartment itself is large and comfortable and could easily accommodate more than our four. The bedrooms are well-sized, air conditioned, and the strong windows provide insulation from any street noise, if necessary. It is also well appointed, with handsome floors, bathroom fixtures and art. The kitchen is fine as well, and has all necessary equipment, dishes, soap, etc. We do not mind stairs, but a renter should be aware that it is much easier to walk up than to use the elevator (which we never figured out, anyway). Similarly it is beneficial to pay in Euros for the apartment whenever possible. [We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! The Italy Perfect Team]"

"Great location near Uffizi Museum and Academia. We felt very secure behind three locked entries in the heart of Florence. There is a lot of street noise, particularly constant motorcycles and vespas, because of the central location, but master bedroom is not affected because of the super insulated windows. We enjoyed all of the amenities of the apartment--wi fi, tv (which has access to English speaking news and movies), gourmet kitchen with dishwasher and nice sized refrigerator with freezer for keeping ice and the elevator."

"Memoria apartment is in the best location imaginable! The balcony overlooks the Arno River, right at the foot of the Ponte Vecchio. The view is spectacular. You can see some of the famous sites of Florence 4 stories up as you enjoy your glass of wine. The flat is spacious and modern, with every amenity you can imagine (including an American-style washer and dryer, very unusual to find in Italy). And I mean EVERY amenity, including many guide books in English, books on Florence art, and much more. The kitchen is thoroughly equipped and then some. You can walk to the famous Florence sites in minutes. Isabel, the manager, is a gem. She quickly responds to messages and phone calls, and she gets things done immediately (not that we had any problems, just a few questions about getting around). She's a great help in guiding your way around Florence.Our experience booking with Italy Perfect was, well...perfect. "Loved the location of the apartments. We were two families staying in two apartments in Florence.We were able to walk everywhere with no issues. Pat at Italy Perfect was absolutely wonderful to work with! She gave us very helpful suggestions and advice on what to do, who to use for drivers, and arranging tours.You don't have to worry about finding great restaurants - there are a million to choose from, all within walking distance.I would definitely recommend Italy Perfect to a friend! "Excellent location in the centre of San Marco. Too many other tourists but this apartment is a great way to get away from that if you want with a quiet roof terrace looking down on a busy bridge, canal junction and gondola stop. If you want to eat out best to go away from the main tourist area - a ten minute walk east will get you to much better restaurants - try Osteria a la Scuela - full of locals! Hotel Paganelli on the front by the man on a horse does great spaghetti carbonara perfect for brunch :) If you want to eat in, there's a supermarket nearby. For fast food there's a good pasta takeaway (Dal Moro) around the corner - a little further is a good 24hr pizza shop that's cheap (look on Spadaria).The apartment has good air conditioning and mosquito nets on some windows but take mosquito repellent too. It's comfortable, looks good, is well equipped, has a lift, we loved it. Our greeter was brilliant - showed us where everything is and was very helpful. Take your time - we were there for nine days and still so much to come back for - do research before you visit! [We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay! My husband and I loved the Renata apartment. The location near the Spanish Step was perfect and although we were in Rome during a heat wave the apartment's air conditioning held up just fine...which is not always the case in Rome. The preplanning Italy Perfect did was right on target. We also rented the Valentina and Zegno apartments as we had twelve in our group. All the apartments were as advertised, although it's a bit difficult to hear the bell or buzzer in the Zegno apartment as you have to enter past the manager's office and the door was always closed. I had groceries delivered to each apartment in advance, although the grocery store is just a very short 5 min walk and it's easy to go and get exactly what you want. Because we were a large group I made some dinner reservations and these restaurants stood out in the area and treated us well. Al 34 and Il Gabriella. If the adults want to get away AD Hoc is a great place, small and reservations a must. We used Family Twist to arrange our group tours and I can't say enough about them, they were wonderful. I have used Italy Perfect and Paris Perfect and highly recommend them to anyone.
