Our Guest Reviews
Great apartment
Our family of 4 loved staying in this apartment. There was a lot of space, especially for European accommodations. The location and view is fantastic. We will stay here again.

Wonderful Accommodations
This 2-bedroom 2-bath apartment south of the Arno is perfectly located for a visit to Florence. It is within walking distance of the Ponte Vecchio and all the hustle and bustle of Florence, yet it is removed enough to provide for quiet evenings and great nights’ sleep. The apartment is clean, fully equipped, and large.
The staff both locally, the greeter, and the staff in the United States, with whom we booked, were extremely helpful and very accessible.
This is a five star accommodation and we will highly recommend it to anyone and everyone we know traveling to Florence.
[Thank you for your kind review. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to working with you again. The Italy Perfect Team]
Wonderful apartment on the Arno!
My sister and I recently spent a week in Florence and we LOVED this spacious, light-filled apartment. It's in a perfect location on the quiet side of the Arno where excellent restaurants, lovely shops and peaceful neighborhood streets abound. Yet it's in easy walking distance to just about everything. The views over the Arno, and including the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi, are heavenly and quintessentially Florentine. The apartment is comfortably furnished with high quality furniture, linens and appointments. We really lacked for nothing. Instructions from our greeter were thorough and a written packet with map, directions and suggestions is in the apartment. The building is very secure with a doorman on duty weekdays and is relatively quiet, especially given that this apartment is on the top floor. I have rented apartments in Italy before, but this one is at the top of the list. Highly recommended.
[Thank you Deborah, we are happy you enjoyed staying at the Caravella and hope to welcome you again! The Italy Perfect Team]
Wonderful family stay experience in Florence
We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay in Caravella in Florence. The location was wonderful. Quiet, beautiful, close to wonderful attractions on each side of the river.
The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was great to cook in and well stocked with anything needed for meal prep.
Wonderful views!
We would stay there again.
[Thank you Barrett, we are pleased you enjoyed staying at the Caravella! The Italy Perfect Team]
A Great way to Stay In Florence
This was our fourth stay with Italy Perfect and second in Florence. That alone should speak to our satisfaction with our stays. This apartment is great for us but also has a second bedroom and complete second bath. The furnishings were quite nice, the bed we used ( master) was very comfortable.
The kitchen was complete and large by most European standards. A dishwasher and washer with dryer built in also were quite nice to have. The building overlooking the Arno, Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio were postcard fantasy shots. there is good security with locking doors and a door man during the day. Excellent apartment, excellent location and excellent value.
[Thank you so much Jack, we are happy you enjoyed your stay, please come again! The Italy Perfect Team]
Perfect Florence Experience
We couldn't have been happier with our choice of the Caravella apartment. The view is timeless, across the river to the famous buildings, spires and domes of the city. The furnishings top quality. Apartment in excellent shape. Overall very comfortable. The service of Italy Perfect and the onsite staff, well, perfect!
We were very pleased with the apartment; it was spacious and elegant
We were very pleased with the apartment; it was spacious and elegant with a magnificent view of the Arno River, Ponte Vecchio and the museums across the river. It was within easy walking distance of the major attractions and there were numerous restaurants in the area. They were good but it seems the quality of food seems to have gone down versus our earlier trip to Italy in the mid-80’s. That is not to say the food was bad, there just weren’t any “Ah-Ha” moments. Believe the food would have been better away from the cities.
There is an excellent grocery store within a few hundred meters of the apartment that we made good use of. Like the French, the Italians don’t seem to be much on breakfast.
Believe we hit the weather just right. A little later and things would have been uncomfortably warm.
Support staff in Florence was great! They were very cordial and helpful for the few requests we made. In fact, the same can be said of all the Italian people we ran into.
FYI, we had spent a week in Rome before taking the train to Florence. Many of the comments about Florence, especially the restaurants, held true there as well.
The only negative we had was our departure from the Florence Airport. No one seemed to be in charge. There were long lines that you really weren’t sure of whether you were in the right one or not. Quite frankly, it reminded us of our days living in the middle east. Guess the best take away is be sure to have plenty of time allocated to airport activities.
Best location, just a few steps from Ponte Vecchio
Best location, just a few steps from Ponte Vecchio on the Oltro Arno side. Apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Made extensive use of the kitchen due to convenient supermarket just two blocks away. Look forward to returning someday!
Beautiful Arno Apartment
Could not have been more pleased with the beautiful apartment with spectacular view of the Arno with the Ponte Vecchio on the left and beautiful Florence in front. The Italian hosts were helpful, warm and welcoming. We would definitely stay again. The location is great close enough to everything, yet far enough for quiet.
Very Nice
After staying in Florence as a couple or solo a few times, it was time to find a "family" apartment for a summer vacation. AC and American amenities were desired for two young adult sons and husband comfort. The apartment suited our needs perfectly. The apartment was cool during a very hot, humid stretch of weather. After traveling for weeks and eating out, it was nice to fix some meals in the well equipped kitchen and do some laundry. The location was great. It was super easy to get to all our favorite places in Florence, and discover new ones. Street level next door is a gelato place and a fab restaurant nearby Bar Golden View is very good. Overall, everything was very nice.
