Lovely and quiet
In Florence’s finest historic center, with its own private entrance on a quiet street, the Pantana is a cheerful, compact and comfortable apartment splashed with sunny Mediterranean colors.
Since the 1300s, before the Renaissance, this neighborhood around Via Tornabuoni has been part of the center of commerce and activity in Florence. Narrow, wandering streets depart from the grid-pattern of the ancient Roman colony a few streets away toward the Duomo, the iconic Cathedral of Florence, city of flowers.
The Pantana apartment has its own private entrance on a small, quiet street were the palazzo is located.
The palazzo, a handsome building from the early 1300s, was built by a Florentine merchant who grew wealthy from the spice trade. It would have housed his offices and, on the upper floors, his family. In the 1800s, many painters` atleliers were established in the building which is probably the reason many of the apartments, Pantana included, have large windows for natural light. The famous painter Ingres once had a studio here.
A cheery apartment splashed with sunny Mediterrean colors, Pantana is a full one bedroom apartment at the price of a studio apartment. It is compact and comfortable. Step into a small entry vestibule and then into the living room beyond. The living room, while narrow, but makes the most of the space with a loveseat and upholstered chair. A flat screen TV receives a few English language news channels. Two sets of living room windows, on either side of the TV, overlook the quiet inner courtyard. A third window on the opposite wall overlooks the small street below.
On the other side of the living room is a dining table and two chairs. The kitchen is fully appointed with 4-burner stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, drip coffee maker, pots, pans and dishes.
The bedroom, to the right off the entry vestibule, is quite spacious. The bed can be prepared as a queen or separately as two single beds, a nice feature to have a flexible bed configuration. The is a large mirrored closet along one wall, opposite a dresser. Nightstands with reading lights are on either side of the bed. The bedroom window, on the wall opposite the bed, overlooks the quiet inner courtyard.
The bathroom is by the kitchen and dining area and has a shower, sink, toilet and bidet.

Our week at Pantana
We were very pleased with the apt. in Florence! It was updated, comfortable and pleasant. We especially appreciated the washer & dishwasher. The rooms were nicely appointed & the bedroom held large closet & storage space. The Pantana is in a lovely area & is very quiet for which we were most grateful. The doorman and the manager were always helpful. The apt. was spacious (only 2 of us) and very clean. One can easily walk to shops, restaurants, most museums, etc. I am pleased to recommend it.
Lovely and quiet

Just a quick note to say thanks so much. The apt was great and worked out really well - was super cute and the location was ideal. Was happy to have AC as it was hot in Florence. I am thrilled to have learned about your company and will use and recommend you again.
Ciao for now
