We enjoyed our stay immensely
Located in the finest part of central Florence, the bright and airy Artemesia exudes luxury and refinement. A beautiful apartment with a large, gracious living room, all the amenities and nice views.
Piazza Antinori is known as the center of the most elegant part of Florence. Fine shops and a new pedestrian area make strolling to view the sights and the shops a delight. On the piazza is the San Gaetano church that is an unusual baroque style for Florence with predominately renaissance and older romanesque style for its churches. The exterior features lovely sculptural statues and details such as the Medici family crest that can be seen from the apartment. Interesting that it adheres to a renaissance convention of simple colors, just white and tan.
The building has retained a clean and simple aspect that is reminiscent of the Renaissance period when it was first built. Renovated over the centuries, the building acquired its present appearance in the mid 1700s.
The palazzo has a doorman during businss hours and several other vacation rentals, which you can view by clicking the green Units tab above, so a good place for a family get-together in the center of Florence.
The apartment has an enormous living room overlooking the famous San Gaetano church where you can see the crest with the charming marble angels. Enter through a spacious foyer with a large dining table and a dramatic modern chandelier.
There is comfortable seating for all in the large living and dining room with two sofas and two arm chairs. Two large windows face San Gaetano and its sculptural decorations. And over the rooftops you can see the dome of the Duomo.
Precious antiques complement comfortable sofas. The colors reflect the precious Chinese panels on the wall, red and green There is a digital television with satellite reception for a few English-language channels.
The kitchen and second dining room is dramatic with contemporary design with a beautiful antique frescoed ceiling.

Our Guest Reviews
A Great Place to Stay in Florence
If you are in the market for an apartment in Florence, I would highly recommend working with Italy Perfect and also strongly consider renting the Artemesia apartment. The apartment is clean, spacious, and overall very beautiful one of the best I have ever stayed in while visiting Europe. The apartment complex itself is centrally located and extremely close to all the key sites and historic landmarks of Florence--the Duomo is literally steps away. The apartment is just north of the river on one of the most prestigious streets of Florence. I found the apartment to be safe and secure with controlled/locked entry with an added plus of having a safe for your valuables. Special mention must be made to the support team of the apartment from the amazing doorman to the administrative support staff. The entire team were always very kind and helpful and put in the extra effort to address any questions or needs you would have from the time of your arrival to your final departure. I found the welcome package I received to be most valuable. Besides the location, security, and beauty of this apartment there are other key aspects of having a comfortable stay in an apartment that the Artemisia fully provides: it is very close to shopping, a bank/ATM, places to eat, and the disposal of your daily/weekly trash. I want to thank Italy Perfect for helping make my stay in Florence so memorable. I highly recommend this apartment and plan to rent this apartment again very soon. Bob

Terrific location and comfortable apartment
The apartment is walking distance to most everything a tourist would want to see. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood with delicious food and very good service.
The apartment is quite large, each room bigger than it looks in the photos, and well furnished. The linens and towels are high quality and the kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils for cooking and has good quality dishes. It was so easy to go out that we did not have dinners at the apartment.
The back bedroom is quieter than the one in the front of the building, but neither has much noise at night. We could not hear any noise from other apartments. The master has heavier curtains that block light, whereas the guest room does not.
The whole place was immaculate upon our arrival. The furniture was comfortable and showed very little wear. The one bedroom had comfortable beds, but the master bed was less comfortable.
Since the bedrooms are so far from one another, it gives two couples/parties a great deal of privacy. Also, there are two half baths in addition to the two full bathrooms. The baths were stocked with nice toiletries.
The doorman is very helpful and nice. The staff of the apartment building are available during the weekdays for questions. We felt very safe there.
We had a wonderful time and appreciate the expertise and kindness of the Italy Perfect staff.
[Thank you Nanette, we are pleased you had a wonderful time! The Italy Perfect Team]
Another great stay!
Pat, we had a another excellent stay at the Palazzo Rimbotti made all the more perfect by ITALY PERFECT! As this was our second visit to the building we knew exactly what to expect and felt completely comfortable and very safe. Having the management offices in the building is a great addition. They are all wonderfully helpful. As we were there for six weeks, we did the weekly housekeeping service as before and it was well done. The owning company does provide great assistance on vehicles and drivers and tours. We had not tried previously and I can definitely say that Cristiana S. knows her business and has very high standards. We found their prices competitive with others we had used and a better quality of driver and vehicle.
The location cannot be beat, it is so central to everything and with the Via Tornabuoni mostly pedestrianized, it is reasonably quiet for such a city location. No question the bedrooms in the back of the building are always peacefully restful.
All in all, a memorable visit and look forward to our next return.
[Thank you Henry, we look forward to welcoming you back again! The Italy Perfect Team]
Rooms with a view!
This is a fabulous place to stay in Florence!! I want to go back already! Excellent views of the Duomo and city.
Location is within walking distance to everything. Staying on the "Rodeo Drive" of Florence was comfortable and glamorous and active enough so that you feel part of the city without too much disturbance. Easy grocery not too far walking....everything easy. The apartment itself was well appointed, comfortable and roomy. Loved the large windows and light.
Only down side was the outside spotlight like fixture that was right outside of the windows and not quite eliminated by the curtains at night.
I had a great stay.....everyone affiliated with this apartment was polite, helpful, timely and I definitely would recommend this accommodation and Italy Perfect.
[Thank you so much! Sorry to hear about the spotlight, wish you had mentioned to the manager to have it immediately fixed. The Italy Perfect Team]
A beautiful stay!
Our apartment in Florence was wonderful. It had 2 on suites and was very accommodating,
We especially loved the location of the apartment!
All was great!
Wonderful apartment and location
This apartment was perfectly located: a quiet area very close to all the main attractions. The apartment was very spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious (the master bath is really nice) and the amount of storage in each room was beyond what we usually expect. The kitchen was large and well appointed - certainly could have cooked large meals in there (but with the Mercato Centrale just a few blocks away, you could just pick up great meals to enjoy in the apartment). Massimiliano (the doorman) was gracious and warm, the building was extremely secure, and it was a pleasure to be greeted by the peace of Piazza Antinori (not to mention the great coffee shop a block away) each morning. We would recommend this apartment (and return) in a heartbeat.
We enjoyed our stay immensely
