Villa Carola is a 10 minute drive from the social center of Capri, the “Piazzetta”, and a 15 minute walk to Capri’s Marina Piccola and its beaches along a path to the sea.

The traditional stone villa is surrounded by trees in a 3250 square foot garden on a hill top position.

Hidden in the shady green gardens, Villa Carola is a private retreat on the Isle of Capri. Three terraces overlook the sea, choose your terrace whether you want shade, sun or a swim. From the street level, there are about 30 steps to reach the villa.

The first terrace leads to the main entrance of the villa and has a wrought iron table and chairs where you can enjoy wonderful Italian meals in the cool shade of picturesque mediterranean pines. Lounge in the warm breezes, listen to the sea and the calls of the seagulls and gaze at the breathtaking views of the Faraglioni. Relax in lounge and arm chairs.

Reach the second, sun terrace through garden steps or from the master bedroom. Here you find a small, elegant swimming pool with jacuzzi. Soak in the sun in this place that is know for its clear skies. A changing room with WC is nearby. Lounge chairs, tables, arm chairs and umbrellas are arranged for your comfort.

Finally descend a few more stairs to reach the third terrace that has a conservatory "limonaia" and a gate to the lane that descend directly to the beaches at Marina Piccola.

When you enter the villa you are welcomed by two large images of nobles made with portuguese tiles that flank the front door. The living and dining rooms arebright with light from a large arched window that overlooks the sea and the famous rocks. A fireplace adds atmosphere if there is a chill in the air. Comfortable sofas and armchairs are complimented by fine antiques and colorful paintings.  You have to love the colorful and typical Italian tilework on the floors and in the kitchen and bathrooms.

The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for meal preparation, also including a microwave and a dishwasher.  Annexed to the kitchen, there are a storeroom / wine cellar and a small courtyard.

Savor sea views from both of the two bedrooms on the main level, one with queen sized bed and the second with two single beds that can be joined. All bedrooms have air conditioning. On this level there are two bathrooms, one with a shower, the other a tub.

Inside stairs leads to a bedroom with a two single beds, private bath and large glass doors that open onto the sun terrace. The laundry room is on this level.

The master suite is also located off the same internal stair case, down five more steps to a lovely master bedroom  with private bath and large French doors that open directly onto the pool terrace.

A ninth sleeping spot is in a small summer house in the garden that has its own bathroom, too.
