25% Discount for February thru March 17, 2012 stays. Applies to new reservations taken from Jan 31, 2012.

One of the most characteristic neighborhoods of central Rome in a high quality, well furnished and maintained apartment. A special association with a nearby hotel provides daily cold continental breakfast and the ability to leave luggage there when guests arrive early in the morning before the apartment is cleaned and ready.

Location

Most famous sights in Rome are within easy walking distance. The glorious Piazza Navona is half a minute walk away. Just below is the famous Pasquino statue where, for centuries, Romans have posted political lampoons. This is one of the few remaining "Talking Statues of Rome" which history is an interesting digression.

This is a popular area so you may hear some noise from pedestrians at night, typical for such a sought after, central location in Rome.

Exterior

The building is one apartment wide and is accessed from Via dei Leutari. Built in the 1800s as a family's private palazzo, it was renovated in the last century to form three apartments, one per floor. The Pasquino apartment is on the top floor for maximum light.

Interior

This most central Roman apartment is laid out wonderfully for use by vacationers. The "day" rooms, which comprise the living/dining room and kitchen, and "night" rooms are well separated by doorways so variations in guest schedules don't disturb others.

The apartment sleeps up to six people with a master bedroom, 3 twins second bedroom and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room.

The apartment overall is about 1000 square feet. One enters into a hallway lined with historic prints. On the right is the large eat-in kitchen and the next doorway leads to a spacious and light-filled living room. The beautiful dining table seats six. A grouping of sofa and love seat are placed close to the window overlooking Piazza Pasquino. Looking down into the piazza you'll get a snapshot of Roman life. A beautiful young Italian mamma pushing a baby stroller. Two regal Roman matrons, arm-in-arm, out for a stroll. A family on their way to a birthday dinner celebration. Lighthearted young men chatting and joking around standing in the piazza.

The living room has a small television with basic satellite TV reception that receives a few English language stations. There is WiFi Internet throughout the apartment. An independently controlled air conditioning system serves the living and dining room.

The master bedroom also overlooks Piazza Pasquino. It is nicely done with golden colored fabric lined walls. The bed has a leather, padded headboard and a firm queen-sized mattress. Very pretty French antique bedside tables have reading lamps. A flat screen television is mounted facing the bed. This room has its own separately controlled air conditioner mounted high on the wall. Closets for this room are in an entry space just before you enter the bedroom. This outer area also opens onto the master bathroom that has a tub, sink, toilet and bidet. The hand-held shower head in the tub can be placed in a bracket on the wall. The bathrooms are older but functional. Lots of good light from the large window.

The second bedroom is the former library and has a warm glow of wood. It can sleep three in 3 single beds. One twin bed is tucked between the cabinets and feels a bit like a ship captain's bunk. The other twin bed is a trundle bed with a second bed that pulls out from underneath.  This room has its own separately controlled air conditioner mounted high on the wall. The bedroom overlooks Via dei Leutari, a very small side street. This bedroom has very ample closet space with many cupboards and space for storage. The second bathroom has a fully enclosed shower, sink, toilet, bidet and washing machine.

The kitchen is remarkably large for a city apartment; it has three large windows that overlook an internal courtyard. A really nice feature is the dining nook that has an L-shaped bench and a table that can seat four or five. Ideal for breakfast or for familes. The kitchen is older but clean and totally functional with refrigerator, gas range, gas oven, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils and dishes.

An important distinguishing benefit of the Pasquino apartment is its association with a nearby hotel (3 minute walk) with a friendly, helpful staff. Guests who arrive early in the day can go to the hotel and leave their luggage there. When they return in the afternoon, after the apartment is clean and ready, they will be escorted to the apartment with assistance with their luggage, too. Guests are invited to partake in the complimentary cold continental breakfast at the hotel during its regular times. If your party extends beyond the number that can be accommodated in the apartment, the hotel offers good rates to apartment guests.

  • Expect some pedestrian noise below, normal for such a prime location.
Guest Book Testimonials
The location was perfect. Well positioned walking distance to all the major attractions. Feb 2012

We enjoyed the accommodation and its location. The apartments [Rome Pasquino and Florence Prisco] were well appointed and importantly for us the internet connection was consistently strong.

The location was perfect. Well positioned walking distance to all the major attractions.

There are many memorable locations and unfortunately we can't remember all the great restuarants by name, however, we were successful in wondering around and relying on instinct in terms of good restaurants.

I would definitely recommend Italy Perfect to a friend. The apartments are consistently excellent.

Perfect as always Nov 2011

This is the second time I have stayed in one of Italy Perfect's apartments, and it was wonderful. The apartment was close to everything, even excellent restaurants and gelateries. What more could you want accept for a great place to stay, and Pasquino was a great place to stay. Pasquino is a very nice and comfortable apartment with lots of room of room to relax. After staying in two of Italy Perfect's apartments, you really can't go wrong staying with them. One thing you might want to consider when planning your trip to Rome is traveling there in the fall. Rome is hot and busy in the summer. But, the weather in the fall is excellent and the crowds are smaller.

Great experience - Great value Nov 2011

Pasquino was perfect for our family vacation in Rome. The photographs don't do it justice. It is nicer and larger than they indicate. It isn't 5 star luxurious, but very nice and comfortable. Compared to two decent hotel rooms in Rome, it is an incredible value.

The greeter was waiting for us and helped us with our luggage. He explained what we needed to know about the apartment. Being associated with the hotel was great, not only for the free continental breakfast (which offers more than danish and fruit), but also because there is always someone available if there is an issue. The linens were high quality and towels plentiful. The baths were well supplied with paper goods and toiletries. The fridge was stocked with bottled water and the pantry had most of the staples you would need. WiFi and heat worked fine. A nice touch was the selection of umbrellas by the front door for the one rainy day we had.

The location is great, Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiori are 1 and 2 blocks away respectively. You are on Governo Veccio, which has nice boutique shopping and restaurants/bars, including an Irish pub that shows NFL and Ncaa games. Pantheon is 5 minutes away. Spanish Steps is a 15 minute stroll.

This is a popular area that has several restaurants/bars downstairs and across the piazza and there were a couple of nights that we could hear the revelers from the living room. However the bedroom window has triple glass and noise was not a problem. The master bed is very firm, but not uncomfortable. My 15 and 17 year olds loved being in the middle of everything and we were comfortable with them being out in the area.

Overall, we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice of Pasquino

Excellent and comfortable accommodations in convenient location Nov 2011

1 block from Piazza Navona and short distance from many bus routes makes this a very convenient location. Includdes free breakfast at Hotel Tirzione. eWe especially enjoyed walking to Campo Di Fiore to see the local produce market and to buy many gifts.

Pasquino - right at the center of it all Oct 2011

I had a wonderful trip in late October and stayed at this great apartment. Perhaps the greatest asset is its location. From here it's just a short walk to Campo de Fiori (which I visited nearly every day), Piazza Navona (a perfect way to end the day), as well as all the other must see places -- Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Capitoline Hill, Trevi Fountain. I never had to catch a cab or bus anywhere (except to reach St. Peter's). What a joy to see everything and feel so at home. One of my favorite memories was coming home from a day of wandering and hearing a street musician playing outside my window as if I was being seranaded.

[Didn't you know we organized that serenade for you?  So glad you enjoyed. ;-) Italy Perfect]

Sep 2011

We enjoyed a perfect week in Rome at the Pasquino apartment.

We have always stayed in hotels but are now converted. We loved having an apartment. The Pasquino is in an excellent location, on a small street just off of a busy walking street with many restaurants and boutiques. It was minutes, by foot, to both the Pizza Navona and the Camp dei Fiori. What could be better? Our teenage children walked back to the apartment one night while we lingered over dinner and there is delicious boutique gelato at Frigidaire, just down the street.

Accommodations were as expected from photos on web site. It suited our family of 4 perfectly. Air conditioning was much appreciated as we were visiting during a week of 100-degree F weather. And with evening use, we did not exceed our allotted usage.

The apartment was clean and tidy, that said, it is not the same as staying in a 5-star hotel, it is lived in, but not in any unkempt way. Affiliation with hotel was particularly helpful as our daughter's luggage was lost and ultimately delivered to the hotel one night. We only took advantage of the breakfast one morning as it is pretty uninspired and part of our reason for visiting Italy was to eat!

Specifics for apartment -- If you plan to stay for more than a few days, ask for extra towels. There is a leak in the kitchen with a sign that clearly has been there for some time. It just requires emptying the basin occasionally, but is in need of repair. There is a small dog in the building that barks upon entry, but you can only hear him in the stairwell, not the apartment.

Italy Perfect was professional and extremely informative, we barely needed a guidebook with all of the information Pat provided.

We absolutely recommend both the Pasquino apartment and Italy Perfect!

Wonderful place to stay! Jul 2011

This apartment worked beautifully for our family of five (three daughters ages 16, 19, 21). It was more spacious and comfortable then I expected and nicely furnished. We all appreciated the wi-fi internet. The two bathrooms (one with tub/shower, one with shower) worked well once we figured out to make sure the hot water heater was on. The kitchen was nicely stocked with basics (tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil...). The connection to the Hotel Tiziano was a definite plus. The staff was very helpful, meeting us at the apartment, showing us how everything worked and explaining where to catch various buses for sightseeing. They also let me use their computer and printer at the hotel to print out our boarding passes and arranged for our taxi to the airport. It was nice to have the option of having breakfast at the hotel, although we more often just made coffee and had a light breakfast at the apartment. The location could not be better! On a cute little square that has some nice restaurants (loved the salad place) and is quite lively most evenings, two blocks from the Piazza Navona, and a five minute walk to the Campo di Fiori. We walked everywhere except to the Borghesi Museum (and the hotel explained where to get the bus to go there - we would never have found the bus stop on our own). The Vatican was a twenty minute walk (add an extra 10-15 minutes to go around to the entrance to the museum). Pantheon, Forum/Coliseum, Travestere - all very walkable. ALSO: Pat at Italy Perfect gave us great advice in general about trip planning and apart from the apartment, her most important contribution to our trip was the referral to our really wonderful Vatican private guide - Cristina Bonasera. She booked us an 8:15 reservation (well in advance), whisked us through the museum to go straight to the Sistine Chapel before it filled up with people. She was able to give us lots of great information while we were looking at the frescoes and we were able to enjoy the Chapel at our leisure, without the crowds. We then went back to the museum entrance and covered Cristina's selection of museum highlights (I think we were with her until 1:00 or 1:30). Cristina also made our reservations for the Borghesi gallery (definitely need to reserve in advance) even though we did that and everything else on our own. The only bit of difficulty I had was when I did some laundry in the apartment washing machine - it took a really, really long time to get through the cycle (seemed like hours) and I was worried that something was wrong with the machine or I had done something wrong. Only later did I read Pat's reassuring notes about appliances in Italy explaining that wash cycles can run up to two hours and that's normal! So read Pat's notes! Also be aware that there is no dryer - clothes drip dry on a rack in the kitchen - so don't wait till your last day to do a wash (I did figure that out on my own!) One other note - on a couple of nights there was a bit of noise from the lively crowd at the Piazza Pasquino - although for some odd reason the square was fairly quiet by midnight on the weekend evenings. It would be a good idea to have some earplugs if you are a light sleeper - just in case....

Live like a Roman Jun 2011

The Pasquino flat was ideal for our family of 4. It had the space we needed to be together or go our separate ways, a necessity with boys ages 18 and 20. The flat is wonderfully located with many must see sights, charming restaurants and lively bars within walking distance. Taxis and buses are nearby too as is the very helpful hotel staff. When we first opened the door, the boys said Pasquino was perfect because it made them feel like they lived in Rome.

Didn't Quite Make It Jun 2011

Since I had an accident at the Ufizzi in Florence, didn't make it to Rome. Our traveling companions did remark on the ideal location of the Pasquino apartment. Working with ItalyPerfect was ideal. Thanks Anyway.

pasquino apartment, rome May 2011

The Pasquino apartment is spacious, comfortable, well equiped and ideally located. Italy Perfect did an outstanding job of preparing us for this adventure. They were very responsive and their written materials answered virtually every question. Renting is our new favorite way to travel, and we would certainly use and recommend Italy Perfect. We arrived with lists of restaurants but did just as well on our own. This is a wonderful neighborhood, full of interesting restaurants, shops and great walking streets. Only one suggestions - add grab bars for the showers! The master bathtub/shower is a big step up and over. As seniors, we would have felt more secure with something to hold on to.

We all agreed that our apartment was in the perfect location! May 2011

This was our first trip to Rome and after seeing many parts of the city, we all agreed that our apartment was in the perfect location! The apartment overlooks the Piazza Pasquino, which is bustling and charming, and the impressive and beautiful Piazza Navona is one block away. We also loved being so close to the Campo di Fiori and the Pantheon. The apartment itself did not disappoint, either - it was spacious enough for seven of us, very well designed, and clean. Even the pullout couch was comfy! The breakfast each morning at the Hotel Tiziano was a great perk and the staff of the Hotel Tiziano was very helpful during our stay.

Perfectly placed for a wonderful time in Rome May 2011

We spent a wonderful week in this lovely apartment. Comfortable, cool, spacious and quiet, it was the perfect place to return to after the busy days exploring this lovely city. Everything we needed was there and it was perfectly clean on our arrival. We even used the Hotel Tiziano for breakfast and the staff (who manage the apartment) were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Pasquino is perfectly located, just one street away from the beautiful Piazza Navona, with a multitude amazing restaurants within a few minutes walk. We walked from the apartment to every major landmark in the old city of Rome Pat and the team at Italy Perfect made everything so easy, even to the point of organising the wonderful Stefano to collect us from the airport. What an amazing introduction to Rome - four coins went into the Trevi Fountain, so we will all return again I'm sure! Thank you to all at Italy Perfect - you will definitely be hearing from us again...

Right on Target May 2011

The trip was really wonderful (best we've had as a family) and the apartment was a big part of that. It was a great location and a great space for us (really more than we needed). The connection with the hotel was a big plus as we went there every morning for breakfast and the people there were very helpful and so nice! The apartment was comfortable, clean, well supplied, everything we needed (and more). All the arrangements were also right on target and extremely helpful. We used your recommended person to arrange to pick us up at the airport which was great. When we landed after the long flight I started worrying that I really didn't know what I was supposed to do or what we were getting ourselves into but then we found the driver you had suggested, and I pulled out all the materials you had sent, called the number, they immediately knew who we were, they were at the apartment within a few minutes of our arrival and the place was all ready for us (at 8am!). We immediately went to the hotel for breakfast and they greeted us so warmly and kindly we felt comfortable right away that our living situation for the next week was going to be great. The neighborhood was just PERFECT for us -- we ate in the neighborhood a couple of times (first night and last night, I think) and Larry and I found a great wine bar that we could go to right in the neighborhood so the kids could just go home. We all started thinking of it as our home very quickly! We used your list of restaurants a lot -- it was so nice to have so many choices and so much information about each place. Finally -- when we left we had the person you recommended pick us up to take us to the airport and he was very reliable and there exactly when we asked him to be (even though it was 6:30 am on Easter Sunday). The ONLY down side of all of this was the day trip we took to Pompeii -- it was kind of a disaster and we were all sort of sorry we 'wasted' a day on a trip that was not really worth the money. We found it through a link from your materials. The company was not at all clear about where to meet the bus (we were not the only family that was in the wrong place for this trip -- there were 11 of us in the wrong place). When we finally were able to reach them by cell phone they told us the bus had left but that it would come back for us -- when we got to the bus there were not enough seats for everyone so they convinced someone to get off and take the trip the next day. The bus was absolutely PACKED, every seat full so we could not sit together. BAsically, all they gave us was a crowded uncomfortable 3 hours bus ride there and back and we paid a lot for that. We figured out later it would have been much better to just take a train ourselves.  We just loved Rome so much we were sorry that we missed out on another day in Rome for a not great day to Pompei. But, that was the only thing -- everything else was fabulous. We would absolutely recommend the apartment and your company to others and when we plan another trip, we will certainly get in touch.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everything we needed Feb 2011

Just returned from a wonderful Roman Holiday staying at the Pasquino apartment.  The apartment is very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed and, after reading some of the reviews, was more than expected. With a well equipped kitchen, plenty of linen, central heating (it was winter), comfortable bed and sofas plus cable TV, it was perfect for our stay.  The cable has plenty of channels to choose from with many movie channels available in English (with a little work on the remote). Being approx ten to fifteen minutes walk to most attractions and with many restaurants to choose from  the location could not be better. If you want to eat with the locals try “La Montecarlo” only a minute’s walk along Corso Vittorio Emanuele towards the Vatican. We found it to be an inexpensive local with great food and friendly staff. Thanks for all the info and help with everything Lisa, I will be using your services again and telling my friends also.

Beautiful apartment in a great location Jan 2011

This apartment is ideally located and surprisingly quiet, considering how noisy Rome can be. The association with the hotel is a big bonus as well, not only for breakfast but also for the availability of the staff there.

The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are well laid-out. It may take a little while to figure out the shower's controls, but the water is hot and the pressure is fine.

Thanks, Italy Perfect!

Pasquino Jan 2011

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. There is a double bedroom, two twins and a sofa bed. It is on the 3rd floor but has an elevator. It was centrally located and we were able to walk most everywhere we wanted to go. The owner could not have been nicer. He owns the hotel down the street that was very helpful with reservations and information (and getting cabs!). We even had breakfast there twice during our stay. If we needed anything else like towels, the hotel brought them over. It was a really nice place to stay while in Rome.

Super Location...very clean and quiet Nov 2010

Super location, close to excellent restaurants such as Terra di Siena; the walk to breakfast was just perfect. Lastly very clean and quiet.

Paquino Apartment Nov 2010

We were quite pleased with the Pasquino apartment. The location was outstanding - very close to Piazza Navonna, one of our favorite Rome neighborhoods and Campo Fiori is only two blocks away. The little piazza outside our window was alive with activity - cafe's, shops, people - but it was quiet inside the apartment. The breakfast arrangement with Hotel Tiziano was very nice - only a 5 minute walk and the Tiziano staff was very helpful. The WiFi internet worked well. We give high marks to Italy Perfect for your rental process. There were only two of in this apartment which is advertised for 6-7 people. I would say 4 would fit comfortably - 6 or 7 only if they are willing to disassemble the living room every night. The kitchen was adequate - need some dish towels! All in all it met our needs very nicely.

Pasquino Oct 2010

This apartment is located in the Piazza Pasquino which is very close to the Piazza Navona. We stayed for around 8 days in September 2010.

The best thing about the apartment for us was the location - it was central, with many shops and restaurants at the door. Piazza Pasquino and the Via del Governo Vecchio quickly felt familiar -there was a fabulous supermarket on Via del Governo Vecchio which looked small but had a big range of fresh food, including freshly baked bread. The apartment was quiet - although it was a busy area we found that there was very little street noise and in any case we often opened the windows to hear the cafes and general lively Rome ambience.

The apartment was a reasonable size, although we had just come from a much larger apartment in Florence so Pasquino suffered by comparison. It was also a bit dark and the decor was rather old fashioned - this is a matter of personal taste obviously. The layout of the rooms was good with the bedrooms and living area separate. We found the main bed quite firm (!!) but this had been noted on the website, so we had been warned.

We checked in with no problems and the association with the Hotel Tiziano was a plus.

The kids book Pat sent was excellent. It got a lot of use, so thanks!

Great location. Oct 2010

The location of the Pasquino is absolutely great. Only three to five minutes from Piazza Navona and the Pantheon and also located near one of the stops for the "open air" buses. The association with the Tiziano Hotel was a big plus. The breakfast served at the hotel was very good and the staff at the hotel was professional, helpful and courteous. The apartment was clean and nicely furnished.

Perfect Pasquino Oct 2010

Situated a 1 minute walk from the Piazza Navonna, the Pasquino Apartment was a wonderful place to stay for our week in Rome. The spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apt was completely furnished with everything we needed. It's association with the Hotel Tiziano (down the street) allowed us to enjoy the hotel's breakfast every morning at no additional charge, as well as allowing us to make use of the hotel's concierge service to answer or questions or book taxis.

I would suggest that the owner install a proper shower in the 2nd bathroom. All that is really needed is a bracket to hold the shower head - as it currently stands, you have to hold the shower head in your hand while showering and that is inconvenient.

We most enjoyed the spaciousness of the apartments, something that did not come across that well on the web site. I was actually expecting it to be much smaller. A nice size living room with comfortable furniture, cable TV with international stations, and wireless internet access were all greatly appreciated. The apartment is very, very quiet for being right above restaurants on the Piazza Pasquale, but we enjoyed opening the windows at night before we went to bed to listen to the sounds of the street, especially the street musicians and singers.

The neigbhorhood was loaded with excellent restaurants and shops and we could walk to most tourist destinations within 20 minutes.

Italy Perfect representative Pat Byrne did an outstanding job preparing us for our trip to Italy, providing abundant information on restaurants, travel tips, using cell phones, etc. which proved to be very helpful to us.

We would definitely stay there again and have told our friends about the Perfect Pasquino.

Awesome apartment in a terrific Roma location Jul 2010

After spending many hours searching for the perfect location for our 5 night stay in Rome, I came across the Italy Perfect website. What a great find!! We decided to end our 3 week Italy vacation by staying in the Pasquino apartment near the famous Piazza Navona. Our children, 7 and 11 years old, loved the "library style" bedroom. My wife appreciated the large kitchen, washing machine and especially the air conditioning. We all appreciated the location, and having access to sky TV which broadcast several channels in English. The hotel with free breakfast and concierge services was less than a 5 minute walk away from the apt. The Vatican is a 20 minute walk, and the Trevi Fountain is a 15 minute walk in a different direction. The location cannot be beat for experiencing what Roman evenings are like. The Piazza Navona is the largest piazza in Rome, and in the evenings it is filled with music, laughter and food. I will definitely use Italy Perfect again next time we go to Italy. Having access to Pat Byrne's vast knowledge of Italy is a valuable resource. Grazie, Mike

Pasquino Jul 2010

Our family of 6 loved Pasquino. The apartment was very comfortable and very convenient to just about everything. THe neighborhood had a lot of character. It reminded me of Greenwich Village in the summertime. There was alot going on ,alot to see. THe streets did not go to sleep until late at night. My older children found it very exciting. The hotel Tiziano was a great plus. The staff were very kind and very helpful Their american coffee at breakfast was better than any american coffee I ever tasted in NY. We had a wonderful experience adn would love to stay there again when we return to Rome. It was the perfect choice for us. There were many wonderful restaurants in the area. We tried something different every night. We used your list but even tried wome off the list. We were never disappointed and we are Italian and cook all the time.Every little street and alley had something interesting to see. Nearby, Piazza Navona was also a very interesting place. SOmething always going on there. I would not recommend this area to someone who prefers a quiet atmosphere. THis was a lively place.I can't wait to return. YOur service was excellent from beginning to end. The websites were very helpful and very informative. It was very easy to use your services.

Perfect Rome location for family with kids Jul 2010

We are a family of five with three children: ages 6, 10 and 12 years and just stayed at the Pasquino apartment in Rome. We couldn't have selected a more perfect accommodation as a base for viewing the wonderful city of Rome. The location was perfect, just blocks from Piazza Navona. From there, getting to all the primary sights such as the Vatican, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain was easy. We felt that we were centrally located but the apartment offered a quiet oasis as well.

In addition, grocery stores, bakeries and restaurants were minutes away so we could return to the apartment for a rest break (which you need with a 6 year old!) and then enjoy the European late dinners and evening strolls around the piazzas.

The apartment itself was incredibly spacious and elegantly appointed. The decor was beautiful but comfortable. Complimentary breakfast at the nearby hotel was very convenient. It was also very helpful to have the nearby hotel with an English speaking host as a resource!

Finally, Lisa Byrne sent 20+ pages of information in preparation for our visit to Rome. We were able to purchase tickets in advance to the Vatican and Colosseum online, which saved alot of waiting time and made for a more enjoyable trip as well.

Thank you Lisa and Pat! We had a wonderful stay and will definitely use Italy Perfect in the future.

Pasquino - It's Great!!! Jun 2010

We just returned from four days (June 2 thru June 7) in Rome where we stayed in the Pasquino apartment. I can't begin to describe what a perfect place this is to stay. First, the accomodations were large, especially the living area. The windows opened onto the Piazza Pasquino which was wonderful. The Piazza is lively and an terrific place to be. Also, and even better, the apartment is only 1/2 block from the Piazza Navona. Piazza Navona is always a happening place. Before arriving we were concerned about how well stocked the apartment would be. Trust me, it has everything you could need, including good A/C. A great benefit as well is the fact that there is a nice grocery about a block or two toward the river. Just down the street is the Baffetto, which is the best pizza in Rome. Go to the following link. (http://www.fodors.com/news/story_3010.html. The restaurant just across the street from the Pasquino was also very good and the people were friendly. There is a cab stand close by and plenty of ATM's, though you may have try several until you find one that works with your card. For US cards, look for Bank of Sao Paulo or Deutsche Bank. Banc of Rome and it's affiliated did not work.

Also, the people at the Hotel Tiziano were excellent and very helpful. This is where you check in upon arrival. It is only about a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

In closing, the Pasquino is wonderful and we would never imagine staying any where else in Rome. It just feels like home.

Spacious, airy and nicely appointed Jun 2010

Gorgeous apartment in a prime location: a stone's throw from the Piazza Navona and an easy walk to many of the great sites of Rome. The information and service provided by Italy Perfect was great and the nearby hotel provided a delicious breakfast and a helpful concierge staff. The apartment itself is spacious, airy and nicely appointed. One recommendation we have is to bring some earplugs, because the streets of Rome are noisy and this apartment is located in an area popular both with locals and tourists. Sit during the evening and enjoy a limoncello on the Piazza Navona; it is glorious.

We felt Italian! Mar 2010
Comfortable 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, great linen and towels, internet service, adequate kitchen, elevator, comfy beds. Idealy located near Piazza Navona with wonderful restaurants all around, and tourist sights all within walking distance. Piazza Pasquino is alive with people well into the night almost every night. Hotel nearby that supervised was very polite and helpful and served a good breakfast.

[Thank you for being great guests. I will mention that the master bedroom window, that overlooks Piazza Pasquino, has a sound dampening window as well as an independently controlled heat pump system so no need to open windows at night.]

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pasquino apartment. Feb 2010

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pasquino apartment.  The apartment is spacious and clean, with comfy beds and sofas, plentiful linen, and a fast and reliable internet connection.  The apartment is perfectly located and we walked almost everywhere, even with two little ones.   And when we got tired, the buses on the Corsa Vittorio Emanuele II were nearby and frequent.  We dined locally in the evenings and the kids loved playing on the Piazza Navona and gorging on ice-cream afterwards.   We also found the links with the hotel very beneficial – it was great to have breakfast every morning to get us up and on our way, and somewhere to leave our bags on the day of departure.  The staff were always polite and helpful and we were grateful for the welcoming touches of bottled water in the fridge and milk.   We would love to return some day.

Delightful apartment, wonderful area. Dec 2009

We were so pleased with the Pasquino apartment. It is a delightful apartment in a wonderful area. What a terrific location! It was roomy and comfortable for our party of four. Can't wait to return. Living room was particularly comfortable, nice high quality sofas where we congregated each evening to relax and enjoy cocktails before heading to one of the many neighborhood restaurants for dinner. Greeter was cordial and helpful. Favorite restaurant was the Insalata Ricca just down below in the little piazza. We had an excellent lunch one day and it was so good we went back the next day and order the exact same meal again! Also great pick was the wine bar type restaurant also in the piazza which had an amazing wine list. Handy tiny supermarket just two blocks away too which was perfect for picking up groceries. We were delighted to stay in this apartment, service from Italy Perfect was smooth from start to finish.

We loved our stay. Can't wait to come back. Dec 2009

We have a marvelous stay at the apartment. You couldn't ask for a better location, everything we wanted was nearby! Had a wonderful private tour of the Vatican on day which I highly recommend. The apartment was clean, comfortable and just exactly what we wanted for our first Rome vacation. Thank you for your terrific service!
