| The greeter was friendly, informative, and helpful | Nov 2011 |
Overall, the Classico was a nice rental apartment, and the greeter, Daniela, was friendly, informative, and helpful (molto brava!). The apartment's location, one block from Piazza di Popolo, on a relatively quite street in historic Roma, Via Angelo Brunetti, could not be any better. Although modern, clean and spaceous enough for at least two couples or a family of four, the apartment lacks some charm. You know you're staying at a rental apartment, not someone's home. There are so many good restaurants nearby that it's hard to pick only one. Of the many, I'd recommend the La Buca di Ripetta, only a block away on Via di Ripetta. I would recommend this apartment and Italy Perfect. Thank you for your feedback, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay, the location and found the greeter to be helpful and friendly. It is true that this is a dedicated vacation rental without personal items left behind by an owner. In fact, this is something many of our guests specifically request since many find it awkward to encounter someone else's personal belongings, such as knick-knacks on shelves or personal belongings in cupboards and drawers. Thank you so much for your recommendation and your business. Regards, Lisa |

| Fantastic Deal | Jan 2011 |
My family and I rented this apartment over Christmas and New Year's, and couldn't have been happier. The apartment is large, spacious, and sunny, and was perfectly comfortable for 5 people. The location was wonderful, and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Tons of wonderful restaurants right in the neighborhood. An amazing deal compared to getting 3 hotel rooms. We loved this apartment. Would highly recommend. |

| Outstanding Rome Accommodations | Nov 2010 |
We rented the Classico apartment for a week in October 2010, and were very happy with the accommodations! Classico is a three-bedroom apartment, and it worked out perfectly for our traveling group. Although we chose not to cook, Classico has a fully-equipped kitchen for those who may wish to test their culinary skills. One bedroom is located at one end of the apartment, while two bedrooms are side-by-side at the other end of the apartment. All the bedrooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable. Classico is in a perfect location! A very short walk from the Piazza Del Popolo and the Flaminio metro stop, but located on a quiet side street with no road noise. Many excellent restaurants are just a short walk away, as is excellent shopping on the Via Del Corso. The Italy Perfect team provided extensive information about the surrounding area, including the location and hours of grocery markets. Be warned that these markets are not 24-hour, nor are they all open 7 days a week. Plan your grocery shopping accordingly! Nearby restaurants that we enjoyed include Gusto and Pizza Re. There is also an excellent gelateria (gelato) very close by. There are many great restaurants within walking distance. Wear comfortable shoes (avoid the white tennis shoes labeling you as a tourist). The cobblestone streets will do a number on your feet and legs if you are not appropriately attired! Cushioned insoles (Dr. Scholls) worked very well for us. Purchase a Roma Pass online [ http://www.romapass.it/p.aspx?t=index ] before you leave home, and pick it up at the Tourist office at the Rome airport upon your arrival. The pass gives you free metro service for three days, and free admission to two attractions, with discount admissions to other attractions. Additionally, you do not have to wait in a line to buy tickets at the Coliseum! This, in itself, makes the Roma Pass worth the money, believe me. As a tip – when you use the Roma Pass card to gain entry to the Metro, just place the card on the small reading surface at the turnstile; you don’t insert the card into the card slot. If you wish to visit the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel, purchase your tickets online beforehand! Then, bypass the huge line and enter the portal for advance ticket holders. The line to purchase tickets for the Vatican Museum was easily several blocks long on the day of our visit. We, on the other hand, strolled right in at our appointed time. If you bank with a larger bank (Bank of America, in our case), you can order foreign currency to be delivered to your home prior to your trip. We did this, and it worked very well for us. If you plan to use an ATM in Italy, be sure to change your PIN to four numeric digits before you leave home. Of course, also inform your bank that you will be in Italy, so that your foreign transactions will be approved. If you plan to use American credit cards, we have found the Capital One is the only card that does NOT impose a foreign transaction fee on foreign charges. The exchange rates imposed by Capital One are also more favorable than other credit card companies. Again, inform your credit card company of your travel plans. We paid cash for all of our meals, and only used credit cards for large souvenir purchases. Definitely plan a day trip to Florence via train. Trenitalia allows you to book EuroStar train tickets online, and receive the tickets before you leave home. Be sure that your destination station in Florence is Firenze Santa Maria Novella, as there is another train station in Florence that is not located near the downtown district. Make sure you reserve tickets on the Eurostar, as opposed to the local (much slower) trains. Spend a couple extra Euros and buy seats in first-class. After you visit the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence to view Michelangelo’s David, be sure to visit the open air marketplace. The leather coats are lovely, and are very reasonably priced. You will see many beautiful items that will never be exported outside of Italy, and your credit cards are readily accepted. Stock up while you’re there! We used Rosetta Stone to learn some Italian before we left home, but it really wasn’t necessary. Most everyone we encountered spoke English, and were pleased that we tried to communicate in Italian. Most restaurant menus were in Italian and English, so the language barrier was never a problem. If you are arriving on an early morning flight, you should reserve your apartment starting on the previous day, so that you may proceed directly to your apartment upon your arrival in Rome. If this is not possible due to the apartment booking schedule, we recommend the Hilton hotel at the FCO airport. The hotel is actually connected to the airport, and is an easy walk. We rented rooms for the day, so that we could sleep and clean up before we met our Italy Perfect greeter at the apartment at 1800. The Italy Perfect staff was very helpful during all phases of our trip, and we are very pleased that we chose the Italy Perfect team to provide our accommodations. |

| The Classico was lovely...spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. | Jan 2010 |
We were in Rome for the Christmas holidays with our 4 adult children, aged 20-26 and stayed in the Classico for 7 nights. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and the photos on the website. The Classico was lovely...spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Perfect for 6 with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Daniela our greeter was kind and very helpful..she even brought over a festive holiday tablecloth for us to use. The location...minutes form the Piazza Popolo, the metro, Spanish Steps...was ideal. The building was very quiet..we never heard anyone. We would highly recommend La Buca di Ripetta Trattoria , just around the corner on the Via di Ripetta,36. We had a wonderful Christmas dinner there...delicious food, intimate, with great service ! I've been spreading the word to my friends about "the Classico" and Italy Perfect. We'd love to repeat the experience ! |

| Out of 10 stars, we'd give this apartment a 15! | Jan 2010 |
Our Classico apartment was PERFECT! Clean, spacious, comfortable, everything we needed. Perfectly located near Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps, and also close to a major bus stop. We were close to shopping and restaurants. There's a wonderful restaurant just a few doors down - "59" - right on via Angelo Brunetti, with great service and delicious food. Great area - beautiful building. We would highly recommend it! SO much better than staying in a hotel. It felt like we were coming home every night. Daniela, the greeter, is a lovely person -so welcoming, helpful and accomodating. Out of 10 stars, we'd give this apartment a 15! |

| You have a believer in the Jordans. | Nov 2009 |
Just returned home from Roma last night. It was great! We have been several times but with our grown daughters it was special. All worked well at the apartment. The greeter pointed out the Fraschettia and Pizza Rey down the street. Both were handy with good fun food. The apartment location worked out well. We were able to walk most times. The welcome wine and water were nice also. You have a believer in the Jordans. Don’t be surprised if you receive additional calls from us and our friends. Great location! Two short blocks from Piazza de Populo and metro. Spanish steps, Via Condottl, Trevi, Pantheon, all close by. Numerous dining locations of all types and prices. We were walking to most sites since location is so convenient. City tour stop close by for orientation and on/off "taxi" usage. Weather was perfect and the apt. was delightful. It met every expectation. Well maintained and almost home away from home. Highly recommend. Contact staff here and in Roma were most attentive. Best regards, Chuck Jordan Greenville, Mississippi |

| The accommodations fit our needs and the location was perfect. | Aug 2009 |
I can’t begin to tell you how enjoyable our stay was. The accommodations fit our needs and the location was perfect. I think that the location was the most desirable. Being close to restaurants and shops and the availability of taxis at the Piazza de Popolo, we could not have asked for a better location. The small restaurant on the street provided us with good company and excellent food. We also enjoyed Le Fric, a restaurant that had the best food in Italy. The apartment was walking distance from all of the sight which in return allowed us to get a better view of Rome. If we came back to Rome we would definitely consider the same accommodations for our trip. Steve Lochte [Italy Perfect was delighted to have swim coach Steve Lochte & his family at the Classico apartment while their son, Olympian Ryan Lochte, competed nearby at the World Swimming Championships, setting 2 new world records and winning 4 gold medals! | Good Times | Jun 2009 |
Enjoyed the apartment and was a good location, near alimentari and taxi stand in Piazza del Popolo. Appreciated Italy Perfect service and all the info that was sent to us prior to our arrival in Italy regarding rentals and services in Italy. Couldn't get wireless internet to work [now fixed] while we were there and the dishwasher didn't work because it blew the circuit breaker. We reset but still didn't work. Had trouble phoning the contact person for the apt [Figuring out international dialing prefixes when phoning from a U.S. cell phone within Italy can be confusing, instructions are included with confirmation - Lisa], but the fault may lie with the old Roman apartments and unreliable wifi in Italy. Otherwise we really appreciated having a washing machine for our laundry and a fantastic, up-to-date kitchen for cooking. |

| The apartment was, as advertised, great! | May 2009 |
The apartment was, as advertised, great! It was clean and well equipped for our stay. It was very quiet and we rarely saw or heard any neighbors. We had a nice week staying with our two adult children and touring the sites around Rome. The apartment is in an area that has easy access to transportation (bus & subway) and a number of good restaurants within close walking distance. Weather was perfect. Thanks, Jim |

The Classico apartment was exactly what we wanted for our Rome stay. A perfect apartment in a perfect location. Everything was so clean and well maintained. Thank you also for all the wonderfully detailed materials on Rome. We would recommend Italy Perfect without hesitation. |

| Can't wait to return! | Feb 2009 |
We are so happy to have found Italy Perfect. My husband, mother, brother-in-law, sister & I spent a glorious week in the Classico apartment. It was the vacation of a lifetime and I'm so glad we chose such an ideal apartment for our stay. The neighborhood was a treasure, all the sites were within walking distance and we felt so special returning "home" each day to the comfortable Classico apartment. Thank you for all the tips too. Everything went so smoothly. |
