The large and comfortable apartments at Palazzo Cavaliere are excellent for many visitors to Florence. You can arrive any day and stay for as few as four nights. The apartments are roomy enough to accommodate sofa sleepers, too.

Not only is the palazzo in the heart of Florence, it has the special attribute of owning several parking spaces at the back of the building, one of the few accommodations in Florence where you can park your car for a reasonable fee.

The handsome palazzo is in Renaissance style and faces the beautiful Loggia dei Pesce, Loggia of the Fishes, designed by Vasari with delicate columns and small terracotta fish as a design. Behind the loggia is a permanent antiques market for architectural pieces and furniture.

The same piazza contains the home of the Ghiberti family which was purchased by Lorenzo whose masterpiece is the renown, bronze "Doors of Paradise" that grace the Baptistery of San Giovanni in the Cathedral square.

The palazzo is in the center of Florence, near Piazza Santa Croce and five interesting blocks from the Duomo. It is possible to walk to all the most famous sights. It is just steps from a grocery store for stocking your apartment.

The building or palazzo, is Renaissance style with clean, classical lines and pleasing proportions.

The building has two modern elevators, another attribute that sets it apart. There are about six steps up from the main level to the elevator. A reception office is available to receive and assist guests

Vasari

Overlooking the side street from the third floor (American designation). It has a dining room with kitchenette, living room sofa bed, a queen bedroom and a twin bedroom (king bed on request) that share a bathroom with stall shower, and a hall to a bedroom with queen bed and en suite bathroom with tub.

Michelangelo

(1240 sq ft, Sleeps 4 + 4)

On the fourth floor (American designation), Michelangelo overlooks the market. It has a large entry, large living room with sofa bed and kitchenette.

There is a sleeping loft with double bed that is accessed through one of the bedrooms, two double bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with twin beds, that can be joined to form a king on request.

Two bathrooms, one with tub, one with stall shower.
