The neighborhood is the best in Florence within easy walking distance of all the famous sights, famous designer boutiques and a tempting array of neighborhood restaurants and cafes.

The apartment is on the second floor of an apartment building next door to the Corsini Palace. The building entrance is on a narrow, one way street that runs parallel to the Arno river, along the street are other residences and boutiques.

Paradiso is among our most elegant Florence offerings. A spacious and tastefully appointed apartment located along the Arno river in one of Florence's most chic neighborhoods. It provides all the comforts of a luxury home and the convenience of being located right in Florence's historic center. Windows along the front open out to face the Arno river, with views stretching out towards the Ponte Santa Trinita, Ponte Vecchio and Ponte alla Carraia.

The apartment's 'piece de resistance' is the expansive terrace, with a jasmine covered trellis, Mediterranean potted plants, top-of-the-line garden furniture and even a gas barbeque. The terrace alone is nearly 1500 square feet - larger then many apartments! Please note that proximity of the terrace to the street below means you will hear traffic noise.

The large living room is comfortably furnished, with two sofas, armchair and an impressive stone-mantled (non-working) fireplace. Two large windows face the terrace.

A small nook off the entry area serves as a home office with desk, a laptop computer, printer and fax machine for guests' use.

The large dining room has an antique dining table that can comfortably seat 10. To top-it-off, fine French table linens and Italian hand-painted majolica dishes are provided for guests' use.

The informal den is ideal for relaxing. It has French doors that open out onto the terrace, with interesting art history and reference books in English for browsing and a TV.

The master bedroom has a window facing the terrace, a large dressing room with closets and storage space, an en-suite master bathroom. The king size bed has a handsome headboard fashioned from an antique door, antique dresser, night-stands and lamps bedside.

Off the master bedroom is the master bathroom with walk-in tiled shower, Jacuzzi-style whirlpool bath, double sinks set into a marble countertop, bidet, toilet.

At the opposite end of the apartment, on the other side of the living room and den are the second and third bedrooms. The second bedroom has a window looking out towards the Arno river, two twin beds, night-stands, an armoire. Just outside the door off the back hallway is a white tiled bathroom with bathtub with shower attachment, pedestal sink, bidet and toilet.

The third bedroom is just down the hall, with twin beds, a large built-in closet, dresser, night stands and an en-suite bathroom. If requested, the two beds can be joined together to make a king size bed. The bathroom has a pedestal sink, tub with shower attachment, toilet.

The fully-equipped eat-in kitchen has granite countertops, four burner gas stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, American and Italian-style coffee pots, microwave, dishwasher, top-quality pots and pans and serving pieces. A antique farm table in the kitchen seats three. Off the kitchen is a laundry room and pantry, with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.

The Paradiso apartment has central heating, air conditioning, window screens, phone, and a loaner cell phone should you need it.
