Only one block from the landmark Duomo cathedral. Many historic sites, restaurants, shops, cafes nearby.
Exterior
15th century apartment building. Upon entering the building there are 17 steps up to the elevator. The apartment is on the top floor.
Interior
Step through the front door into a gracious foyer lined with built-in bookshelves. The living room, bedroom and bathroom are entered off this hallway. The foyer is illuminated with sunlight that streams through the living room and bedroom French doors that lead out onto the terrace.
The living room is small with a double sofa bed perfect for one person, upholstered armchair, table with seating for 4.
From the living room the French doors open out onto the very large terrace which wraps the corner around by the bedroom. Enjoy the 180 degree views including excellent views of the Santa Croce church. Gaze out on Florence's majestic views, listen to the church bells toll at sunset, watch the light move across the buildings, welcome the morning with a cup of coffee or celebrate days end with a glass of wine al fresco. The terrace has a patio table and four chairs.
The small kitchen is entered off the living room. It is not new but it is neat, compact and sunny with a window overlooking a rooftop and the Orsino terrace to the left. It has a 4-burner gas stove, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine.
The bedroom is very large with a queen size bed, night stands with lamps, wall-to-wall closet along one side, and a writing table with chair. The most impressive feature of the bedroom are the two sets of French doors that open onto the terrace.
The foyer, living room and bedroom floors are polished terrazzo marble. The kitchen and bathroom are tiled.
The bathroom has a fully enclosed shower.

- Very good location in the historic center, sites are easily walkable
- Impressive, expansive terrace with wonderful views. Really great feature.
- Living room is small.
- Apartment bathroom and kitchen are older but clean and completely functional.
- There can be noise at night from people outside in the street below, a common issue in Florence's historic center.

We loved the apartment, the location is excellent and the family who check you in and out are wonderful - helpful, considerate and very punctual. If you plan to go to La Giostra it is about 30 steps away and well worth one of your evenings for dinner. Directions to the washing machine would be helpful in English! |

Amazing place! Walk to everywhere, wonderful terrace where we had breakfast every morning with views that have to be seen. The bed was so comfortable and the room very large, beautiful. I really felt like I was in Florence, Italy. Location was perfect. I feel so lucky to find this place to spend our time in Florence. P.S. the management by Lisa at Italy Perfect was so efficient and helpful; she thought of things I didn't know to ask. |

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment. It is both well-appointed and well-situated. Not only is it within easy walking distance of all of the tourist sites; it is also close to the more authentic local areas of town. The apartment is sunny and bright, and the terrace offers a great view of the Santa Croce church.
Nighttime revelers are a part of Florentine life and the first night we were awakened by them, but we quickly got used to it. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well.
Equally important is the help provided by the greeter, Cristina, and the portiere. Even though I have lived in Europe for a total of 15 years, I nevertheless found it invaluable to have someone available for questions and help. I would stay in the apartment again, and would definitely recommend it.
