of the palazzo faces the apse of Saint Anastasius, a Melkite Greek
Catholic church.

fine art and quality furnishings. The style is Regency, rather

two love seats and two sleigh chairs for seating.

Antique furniture that fills the Greci
apartment is delightful in its style. The dining room leads to the
kitchen on the left; foyer straight ahead.
The neighbors maintain a high
standard; most displaying flowering plants on their balconies.
Buildings that surround this charming
courtyard display the warm colors so typical of Roman
buildings.
Recently renovated kitchen has good
counter space. Refrigerator, freezer, gas stove top, oven, dishes
make for easy meal preparation.
Peninsula with seating for casual
meals. Door to the left leads to the dining room.
The twin bedroom beds can be joined to
serve as a single dual-king bed. The room is a good size. The
window overlooks Via dei Greci.
Roman-red building across the street
houses the Academy of Santa Cecelia, the national academy of music
for master's level students.
Both bedrooms open onto Via dei Greci.
You can see the small arch that spans the street. It connects
church with Greek pontifical offices.
The smaller bathroom has an enclosed
shower. You are seeing the shower reflected in the mirror.
Four steps lead from main hall to
master bedroom and bath.
Master bathroom is a comfortable size,
very well lit. There is a bathtub, no shower.
Lace coverlet and brass bedstead take
you back in time. The bed is king sized. Private balcony overlooks
Via dei Greci.
Handsome antiques and a small TV in
the master bedroom.
The balcony has a seat with cushions,
just right for your morning coffee as you watch the students of
Santa Cecelia head to class.
Peer over the balcony down to Via dei
Greci below. It is a pedestrian-street, with only service vehicles
and motor-scooter access.
