Apartment was fantastic - great location, food shops and atmosphere. Buses were good once we solved bus timetable. All arrangements were first class.

The Niccolo was a great apartment and really helped to make our stay in Florence very enjoyable.

The place worked out pretty well, very comfortable and the terrace was a nice retreat. It was nice to be in a residential area with few to no tourists - it gave us a good feel for the daily lives of the locals. Café Rifrullo was a real happening place, both in the morning for cappuccino and in the evening for their equivalent of happy hour - the place was packed almost every evening. The washing machine has a dryer function that we used once and that I would not recommend. The dryer cycle applies heat but no air, so it takes a long time (and a lot of electricity I'm sure) and clothes come out really hot with wrinkles baked in. We put the dryer stands out on the terrace to dry our clothes instead. We did enjoy the apartment and had a great time in Florence.

We loved the neighborhood and the apartment is great for 2 couples, nicely equipped kitchen, very comfortable living room.

Thank you so much for the apartment and for your help with the rental. The apartment was great. We loved being a part of the neighborhood. The location, while away from the hustle of the city center, was not so far as to be an uncomfortable walk.  There were actually a number of things to see on our side of the river so it worked out great. We would have found the city center from where we were, I'm not sure we would have found that neighborhood had we been staying in the center. Happy  Actually the walking was good since even with 4 course meals, neither of us gained weight! As far as accommodations, the greeter was very kind in leaving water and a welcome bottle of wine which we enjoyed as we had lunch "at home" of meats, cheese, melon, bread and olives. The lack of AC was only an issue [midday] since we came back to rest during the heat of the day.  Once we had the fan going we were much better and this is probably only a problem during the heat of Aug-Sept. Otherwise it is probably nice and cool. Of course being from USA, and more so from Florida, we are used to ceiling fans and something to keep a breeze going. I would love to return and will certainly consider this location as I explore south and west of Florence next trip. Thanks again for all your help.
