| Elegant Design in Distinguished Neighborhood |
Old world elegance and modern amenities in a large and gracious apartment in one of the most prestigious addresses in Rome.
The Via Veneto location is prized for fine architecture, excellent designer shopping, many restaurants and, most importantly, it is where to "be seen" in the cafes and along the sidewalks of the sinuous boulevard.
There is a grocery store across the street and another also nearby. Several restaurants in the immediate area and many, many more nearby.
Guests may use the gym, pool, sauna and turkish bath at the nearby historical and prestigious Excelsior hotel on a daily, paid basis.
For day trips and longer, there is a very efficient travel agency just around the corner. They organize day trips to Venice, Pisa, Florence, Siena, Assisi, Orvieto, Rome by Day and Night, Naples, Pompei, Capri and Sorrento in the best quality air conditioned buses. Guests just walk out the front door and join their tour with Vastours.
The building of the Nobile apartment dates from the 1930s and was designed in the Fascist architectural style. Marcello Piacenti, the famous architect who designed the building led the "simplified neoclassicism" architectural movement, ba
There are several steps that lead from the street level to the lobby that is staffed by a doorman during office hours, otherwise locked. An elevator leads to the 5th floor (6th American designation), the next to the top floor.
As the front door opens, you step into another world, another time of elegance and respect for the space and quality of the residents. The architecture within is art deco inspired, very gracious and light. This fine apartment doesn't have rooms carved from other spaces and furniture wedged into where it will fit, residents have proper spaces and furnishings for their daily pursuits.
The high style echoes the past but all was recently redone, respecting the style but freshening all the upholstry and updating fixtures and appliances.
A spacious entrance with a bench for your shopping leads to a long, bright hall that reaches all the way to the living room at the far end of the apartment. A bright curio cabinet beckons from the end with a collection of Chinese jades and ceramics.
The living room is bright with three windows overlooking the balcony. Two sofas and several easy chairs ensure there is room for everyone to sit. The room is decorated in regency style with beautiful oriental carpets; this room has a rose and yellow color palette. A television with Satellite reception is hidden in a cupboard. Wifi throughout.
The study adjoins the living room and serves as the third bedroom. It welcomes you to catch up on work or reading with an antique secretary and two large armchairs. A single bed is built into a niche along one wall. There is a closet for your clothing. A television is also here. A rollaway bed can be provided for the 6th person.
Between the study and the master bedroom is the master bath with shower over tub.
The master bedroom is spacious and bright. It opens via French doors onto the balcony. There is a television as well as a seating area. Closets along one wall.
The balcony runs the length of the front of the apartment along the master bedroom, study and living room. It is narrow, just room for two chairs and a small table, a great place to take your first cup of coffee or an aperitif.
The apartment is filled with fine art both European oil paintings and collections of precious Chinese ob
Across the hall from the master bedroom is the twin bedroom that is also large enough for copious closets and a desk with chair. A small balcony opens onto the large internal courtyard. The owner's daughter is a recognized and prolific artist of special art that has a bright childlike approach. You will find many of her pieces in this room and in various places througout the apartment.
From the twin bedroom a small hall way passes past the second bathroom with shower to the large eat-in kitchen. In the bathroom, you will find a washing machine. The kitchen is very completely equipped with appliances, pots, pans and serving pieces whether you wish to cook or have meals catered. The owner can arrange chef services and can also indicate a cafe that caters.

| We had a a great stay at this apartment. | Jul 2011 |
We are a family of six, with four kids aged between 8 and 14. Our welcome was great...very personable and it soon felt like we were coming to visit old friends! As we were shown the apartment it quickly became apparent that it was a large, spacious and very nicely appointed place. Everything was very tastefully decorated and there were some very special pieces in the apartment, and some lovely things that gave the apartment that real family feel eg the silverware. We loved the room it gave us...everyone had their own space, and unlike other places we have stayed in, we never felt like we were "falling over" each other. The kids really enjoyed this feeling, plus they loved their rooms!! The location is great...10 minutes walk to the Trevi Fountain, and about the same to the Spanish Steps. The building is just over the road from the us Embassy, and hence close to a number of nice hotels and several of the best restaurants as rated by Trip advisor eg the current no 1 and no 2 are less than 2 blocks away. There is a very nice, small but good quality supermarket about a block and a half away. They have everything there, including nice fresh bread and everything you need to create a great antipasta! Not that we used it, but there is even a travel agent across the road! We also liked the fact that we were out of the madness, hustle and bustle that is often associated with places right in the middle of key tourist areas. Whilst we had to walk a bit more, once we were there it was nice to escape! One thing that could help is a map that shows "you are here" and then marks out the closest things that matter...we make this comment everywhere we go, but we think it would be a great and very simple addition. [Will do! IP] Many thanks to Italy Perfect and to the owners - you were both great to deal with and we really enjoyed our stay! |

| Nobile Apartment, Rome | Sep 2010 |
The apartment is spacious, clean and well furnished. We were 2 adults and 4 children and had more than enough room. The location was very good, and quiet. The kitchen was clean and, although basic, was perfect for simple tasks. The washing machine worked fine. The neighborhood was convenient and safe...across the street from the US Embassy. A couple of drawbacks...no English channels on the tv; wireless internet worked fine, but handwritten card with access code was EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to read--it should be TYPED to avoid future confusion; it would be very helpful to provide a map indicating exact location of nearest supermarket (with hours), ATM and taxi stand; it would also be very helpful to provide a list of the nearby bus routes and bus stops, particularly along the via Veneto. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and wold recommend the apartment. It was wonderful to have you as guests. Sorry you didn't find the English channels on the TV, there are hundreds; you just needed some instruction on tuning, impossible to put in a document but easy to show. The housekeeper could have helped you figure that out, she could also have shown you the second closest grocery store a block and half away on the same street. We will take on typing the internet access code, improving the information on local services. There was info on how to figure out bus routes in your Rome document, but we agree, it should also be to hand in the apartment and apologize for not considering. Please, for the future, and for other guests, just ask! The housekeeper is there every day, you can also call her or the manager, whose phone numbers are provided. |

| Good experience; we would return | Jan 2010 |
We enjoyed our stay.
The surrounding area along the Via Veneto and Spanish Steps was superb; and the actual street that our apartment was located was nice and quiet. We enjoyed walking to the Cafe de Paris for hot chocolate every day as the service was very warm and friendly. Our building was very nice and secure as was the neighborhood with the American Embassy located almost accross the street.
The only drawback was the Internet service. It was a non-secure site and susceptible to picking up non-welcome spammers and computer viruses, Our hostess apologized for the poor service and said that she was in the process of putting in a secure site, which in today's age is an absolute necessity. [New secure wifi is in place Feb 2010]
All in all it was a good experience and we would consider going back.
All our best,
Steve and Pam |

| Nice and safe neighborhood convenient to shops, restaurants, and tourist sites. | Jun 2009 |
Our family of three had a very enjoyable one-week stay in the apartment. It is located in a nice and safe neighborhood. It is convenient to shops, restaurants, and tourist sites, and we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go (although taxis were also easy to obtain in the area). The apartment is very spacious and clean, and the elegant furnishings made us feel as though we were staying in the home of a friend, rather than a sterile rental-unit. It was a comfortable space to relax in after a day of sightseeing; we really felt like we were residents of Rome. This was also our first experience with Italy Perfect; we were impressed with their thoroughness and dedication, we will definitely use the service again on our next trip to Italy. |

| Treats Us Like Royalty | Jul 2008 |
The Rome apt. is wonderful; the marchesa owner is next door and hugely nice and helpful. Breakfast cooked daily by her helper, who also cleans after us and treats us like royalty. You should recommend this apartment to anyone who wishes low maintenance luxury next to everything. Beautifully appointed too. And...best of all..................................................................................THE A/C WORKS WONDERFULLY. EACH ROOM IS EQUIPPED WITH ITS OWN HI'EFF. ROOM UNIT.
