"We loved everything about this apartment." |
| Quiet, Central, Modern Amenities |
The Lombardia apartment is in a very central location just above the Spanish Steps area. Enjoy a comfortable and nicely appointed apartment with a very good layout for two couples or families.
Located between the Spanish Steps and Via Veneto areas this is a stately area with many sidewalk cafes, restaurants and easy walking distance to many of the sites. Most convenient is the Metro (subway entrance) at the top of the Via Veneto. The Metro will whisk you off to places such as the Coliseum, the Vatican and the train station.
It is a 10 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, which is your gateway to fashion shopping near Via del Corso and many excellent restaurants. Beyond are the Trevi fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the Campo dei Fiori areas.
The Borghese Gardens, one of Rome's largest public parks, is just three blocks away so if you want to stroll, jog, or bicycle, it is very convenient. And if you have children, this is a great place to take them. Two of Rome's most famous museums, the Villa Borghese and Villa Giulia, are just a few minutes walk from the apartment.
Stroll down the Via Veneto past myriad cafes, to Piazza Barberini and its Triton fountain.
We enjoy staying in this area since the 'livin is easy': subway nearby, two good supermarkets within a 5-minute walk, several good cafes for our morning cappuccino, handy newsagent of buying bus tickets, several favorite restaurants, the always beautiful walk along the Via Veneto down to Piazza Barberini, long strolls through the Borghese Gardens, and several 5-star hotels in the area so taxis are readily available. Just the right balance of city life, amenities, good food and park access.
The Lombardia apartment is located in a stately 18th century building. Massive wooden doors lead into to the building lobby which connects two banks of buildings via a corridor. The Lombardia apartment is in the back building, accessed through the second elevator.
The apartment has been freshly updated with modern amenities, comfortable, tasteful decor. A small entry greets you with hooks for your coat. To the left is the living room with queen size sofa bed, two armchairs and a desk. Step up to the dining area which has a glass door opening out to the service porch with the laundry facilities are located. To the right of the dining room is the kitchen.
To the opposite side of the entry area are the two bedrooms. The twin-bedded room is to the right with two single beds. The bathroom is opposite, just across the hall. Straight ahead is the master bedroom and bathroom. The layout works well since the master bedroom has a small private hallway which can be closed off for privacy to access the master bathroom. Both bedrooms have ample closet space.
Each of the windows in the apartment, living room, dining room, both bedrooms overlook internal courtyards, the views are not noteworthy, but this position in the building is a major bonus since the noise of the busy streets of Rome will not reach you here. This comfortable, pleasant and well maintained apartment is a very pleasant retreat from the bustling city center.

| 12 Days in Italy | May 2012 |
My husband and I rented the Lombardia apartment in April 2012 for 12 days and it was a really comfortable apartment. It was very quite and the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. We did not use the twin bed in the other room except to hold suitcases. I was so great to come back to at the end of a tiring day sight seeing and have plenty of room to relax without being on top of each other. The location was convenient to the bus, a reasonable distance from the metro and we could easily catch a taxi by walking one block. There was a good restaurant around the corner, I believe that the name was Restiorante Marcello. The elevator was quite an experience and so much better than climbing stairs. Over all a great experience. I would definitely recommend Italy Perfect again and will use them again on our next trip to Italy. |

| We loved the apartment | Apr 2012 |
We loved the apartment. It was convenient to the metro, great restaurants and a well stocked grocer. The transfer to and from the airport was great. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs and the rooms were spacious with great beds. No view but we were gone early in the morning and back after dark so that never mattered, the upside is that it was very quiet even wtih the windows opened. We would definitely recommend this company and this apartment. |

| Perfect Lombardia | Apr 2012 |
We had a wonderful time in Rome, made even better by having the Lombardia to come home to each day. It's location was brilliant ... it was quiet yet still close to everything we wanted to see. It was clean, extremely comfortable and well fitted out with everything you could want. A special thank you to Rene, who was so helpful ... especially when our luggage went missing between Paris and Rome ... nothing was a problem and he gave us some excellent advice and recommendations. We'll definitely be back, and I know where I'll be staying next time we visit Rome! |

| The apartment was wonderful... super convenient and well equipped. | Jan 2012 |
Just completed our week in Rome at the Lombardia apartment. Greeter was great. Also used Stefano for airport transfers which worked out very well. The apartment was wonderful... super convenient and well equipped. Water pressure not great in one bathroom and little hot water in the guest shower. Laundry, hair dryer and hotel-safe were very much appreciated. We really enjoyed Peppone's right around the corner. Great food and more reasonably priced than similar restaurants on Via Veneto. |

| We would stay here again. | Nov 2011 |
We enjoyed this apartment and it's location very much. The size of the apartment is comfortable. The entire apartment is very clean. The kitchen is very functional. Food shopping and preparation were part of our experience. Food shops nearby were convenient. Restaurants on the same block were very good. We felt very safe in this area Taking pantry inventory of what you need if you are going to cook (ie: salt and pepper!) will be timesaving. The washer and dryer, air conditioning and television all work very well. The decor of the apartment and the quiet, both day and night, were a joy. We would stay here again. |

| A great stay in Roma! | Sep 2011 |
My daughter and I stayed in the Lombardia apt for two weeks in August, during our first trip to Italy. We really enjoyed the apartment, which is in a great location and within short walking distance to lots of sites, restaurants, a supermarket, transit and taxi stop. The apartment itself is lovely, modern and in a quiet location, and is just as it appears on the website - very spacious for Rome. We really appreciated the WiFi for Skyping back home and the A/C which provided much needed relief during August in Rome. The Italy Perfect team were very well organized and professional and Rosie our greeter was very helpful getting us settled. All in all a great holiday. I would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay there again. Thanks Lisa and the Italy Perfect team! |

| A lovely home away from home | Aug 2011 |
The Lombardia apartment was perfect and I would stay there again without a doubt! Good location, contemporary decor, well stocked kitchen in terms of dishes/pots&pans, free WI-Fi and fabulous AC, which my Italian cousins didn't appreciate, but my American cousin and I most certainly did! We felt like locals coming Home every evening! |

| Fantastic! | Jul 2011 |
The Lombardia apartment we rented in Rome was marvelous. It was clean, nicely furnished and the best apartment we rented while on our 6 week vacation in Europe. It was large and had plenty of room for our whole family. Being in Europe most places are small, but the Lombardia was perfect. Air conditioning was the best and the building was safe and was in a wonderful neighborhood. We didn't want to leave. One bonus was the lift. After climbing steps all day, it was a treat to come home and have the lift take you up the stairs. There is also a restaurant around the corner that was fantastic. They served bruschetta just for being there and my boys loved it. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for a quiet, safe, beautiful place to stay while in Rome. Thank you Lisa- we really LOVED it. |

| The apartment was nicely decorated and everything was in working order | Jul 2011 |
The apartment was exactly as the picture shows. There were no unpleasant surprises. The apartment was nicely decorated and everything was in working order. Only one small minor repair; the tap in the sink in the master bathroom does have a small leak. The location was great - in close proximity to the Spanish Steps and within walking distance to a lot of the main tourist attractions. We visited some of the restaurants that were recommended and found them to be true to the review. Yes we would definitely recommend this apartment to a friend. |

| Apartment was perfect for our family of 5 and it had all the luxuries of home | Jul 2011 |
We would highly recommend the Lombardia apartment for visitors and travelers coming to Roma. We thought the apartment was perfect for our family of 5 and it had all the luxuries of home. The location was okay (the next time we come to Rome, we would probably stay a little more centrally located to some of the sights - we would have loved to have been more able to walk to more of the sights rather than taking a cab to most of the sights.) Thank you for all of your hospitality and we look forward to working with Italy Perfect again in the future. |

| We love everything about this apartment | Jun 2011 |
We loved everything about this apartment. The location was 5 minutes from the Spanish steps and right outside were two sidewalk restaurants. The apartment was clean, secure, and had all the modern amenities, including air conditioning. We would definitely stay there again. Rene met us at the apartment the first day to give us our keys and was extremely helpful and informative. A wonderful experience overall. |

| Rome Lombadia Apartment | Jun 2011 |
I booked the Lombadia Apartment for 5 day in May and Pat Bryne from Italy Perfect was extremely helpful in arranging it for my family of 4 including providing helpful hints & local contacts for transportation We used Stephano Limousine to pick us up from the airport. The driver contact Renee our greeter once we were picked up at the airport and he was waiting at the apartment to show us all the details about the apartment. The apartment was at a very good location a few blocks from Spanish Steps and the Metro. We loved the apartment. It was clean and confortable for our 5 day stay. It also had wifi internet which was good for us to surf the internet and book some of our Rome activities or call back to USA with Skype. We managed to pick up some groceries from the nearby supermarket for breakfast. There's also some good restaurants downstairs and in the neighborhood. Most of the major attraction (Colloseum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Pantheon,.., etc) are within walkable distance. Rome is a city that you can walk and enjoy the different neighborhoods. We also took to Metro to several places when we got tired of walking. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Lombardia Apartment and would stay there again the next time we visit Rome. |
